Excellent ! On time , professional and very easy to work with and contact. They provided real time updates of handymans arrival and provided a name and picture of the individual for safety purposes . JRB Renovations
We are very happy with the remodel by JRB. The quality of the work and materials is excellent. The crew members always arrived on time, were respectful and friendly, and cleaned up each day before leaving. Josh was great, he stayed in communication with us and took the inevitable change requests in stride, and kept everything moving so that the remodel was completed on schedule. We love our new bathroom and will definitely go back to JRB for future home improvements.

    Bruce Handyman Services
Bruce is a true handyman and jack of all trades.  He is quick but the quality of his work does not suffer with his speed.  I will be calling him in the future as we continue to work on the house.  Thanks Bruce!

    Mark Ellis Builders
Mark and his crew were always on time, arriving early each day.  The entire team was prompt, polite and professional.  Their work is of the highest quality.  The minute Mark and his team were finished we started making another list of other work we need done at our house.  Mark was always responsive - even answering a question while on vacation out of the country.  The experience with Mark and his team was without question excellent.

    America's Electric Company LLC
Eric's work was outstanding as always in this latest visit since our last review.  We look forward to having him out again for two more jobs next year.  His range of expertise is impressive.  There is no reason for us to consider another electrician.

    America's Electric Company LLC
Another excellent electric provider first recommended Eric to us when they were swamped with work late last Fall.  The latest visit from Eric was his sixth to our place, for work ranging from small to moderate in size, and from regular to emergency (a sparking and melting water heater breaker).  He has been just as responsive as circumstances required on every occasion.  The quality of his work is routinely outstanding.  He lets you know what he plans in advance, which we appreciate.  He lays out options clearly and completely.  His charges are just what they should be for the work he performs.  He is, in all respects, a pleasure, both professionally and personally.  We cannot recommend him highly enough.

    Mark Ellis Builders
Mark and his crew were very professional and energetic. He was there every morning before 7AM ready to go. They installed a protective treatment on my floors before they started to avoid any damage during their work. Everyone was friendly and easy to work with. They cleaned up after themselves and left the place in good shape when they were finished. Their paint and trim work was superb and their tile work was good.
This was the first time I have worked with a contractor so it was a learning experience for me. I really enjoyed working with Mark and I think he did a great job. Not having gone through a job like this before I didn't ask enough questions, so at first I was a little surprised I needed to pay for things like the dumpster, buckets and latex gloves for mixing grout, or trash bags for cleaning up. I misinterpreted Mark's initial quote and thought I was only paying for some of the materials like tiles. Mark was good about communicating and encouraged me to email him often with requests and to feel free to ask questions. He was always open to questions and was very professional, next time I will definitely ask more questions from the beginning and probably give a daily email update of things that need to be done, to help both parties ensure nothing slips through the cracks.
We initially wanted to just have the drywall in the basement bathroom finished and the master bathroom completely remodeled. We ended up having Mark also do the drywall in the rest of the basement, tearing out the old wood paneling. The new quote also included repainting my dining room and removing an old wallpaper border, installing shelving units in my garage, and finishing trim work in my kitchen. When the plumbing work for the master bathroom took longer than originally expected, I told Mark to cut projects as needed and gave him a priority list of which projects were most important to me. I was not willing to spend more money to get everything done, I was already spending more than anticipated. The basement drywall underneath the wood paneling also had imperfections and Mark requested he tear it all off instead of spending the extra time to patch and repair it. In the end, Mark didn?t do the dining room, garage, or kitchen work to balance his budget.
The work in the basement turned out fantastic. I'm still impressed every time I look closely at their trim work and the paint. The drywall came out great and it really transformed the room. When we went over what I wanted in each room I mentioned adding a closet to the corner. Unfortunately they had finished the drywall and painting before I reminded Mark that we needed a closet. He had no issue adding the closet after the fact and didn't blame me for not mentioning it sooner. They went the extra mile to make the place really pop. They replaced ugly old light fixture with a new one, and patched the popcorn ceiling to blend it in. When the carpet install was scheduled Mark had his guys come out to move furniture around in my basement so I wouldn't be charged by the carpet company. They also removed and reinstalled some of my pre-existing trim that wouldn't fit with the new carpet, free of charge.
They had to do a lot of work to make the shower in my master bathroom bigger. They were able to add somewhere near 10" of space by moving a wall and a vent stack, and it really helped with the feel of the shower. The tiles I chose gave them some issues with holding grout and proved difficult to remove the haze, but they worked hard to get it looking good. They came back and fixed some issues I had with their grout work. They had forgotten to hang the toilet paper holder and I asked them to align the doors on the new cabinet they hung. Mark never argued with any of my requests, he just got it done.
They also repaired a leak in my roof. Their first attempt wasn?t enough, but Mark noticed this on his own before they left. I wouldn?t have noticed the leak for awhile, so it was great that Mark noticed it and fixed it without me having to have them come back out.
Overall I am very pleased with Mark?s work. I would definitely have him do more work if I ever move to a new home that needs finishing.

    Soma Electric
Phil Soma called me back immediately after I contacted him via Angie's List. I explained to him the problem I was experiencing and he was able to come out the very next day. He arrived right on time (if not early) and was extremely friendly and professional.
Phil had trouble locating the cause of the problem and did not seem to be very familiar with new LED lighting and associated switches.
He spent an hour removing/replacing switches and verifying connections but was never able to find the problem. After he left, I am still experiencing the same issues. I did pay him for his time.
Soma Electric would be a great choice for standard electrical needs (installation of new switches or fixtures, re-wiring panels, etc... But, I unfortunately can't recommend them if your issue is not immediately clear and requires any non-standard troubleshooting.

The problem ended up being LED bulbs that were not compatible with Lutron's new LED/CFL dimmer. Once I switched out the bulbs, the problem went away. I figured that out by doing some research on Lutron's website after the electrician left.

    Dinse Contracting LLC
Brian asked me to provide the level of service that I wanted on a level of 3 to 5 with 3 being an adequate paint job and 5 being the ultimate with taking care of every dent and dimple and I elected 5. It cost much more than I expected but that is what I wanted -perfection, and I was not disappointed. I hope to have them back to complete my garage interior and exterior of the home in the future. Brian ran into a few obstacles but plowed through to complete the task to satisfaction. One example was a new ceiling fan that had some electrical complications. Since he was on time and material versus pricing the whole job out, and I was paying by the hour, he elected to continue without charge on the fan installation since this particular item was somewhat new territory and he wanted the experience. He is very open to communication and will keep you abreast of the pending cost involved and progress needed to complete the task. So far, several of the additional contractors that have come through the house have commented on the great looking paint job particularly with all the challenging straight lines that needed to be addressed with my vaulted ceilings.
