    Terrible service. I have an LG washing machine and was forced to use them because they were an LG authorized dealer. After 30 days they still have not repaired my washing machine. I waited a week for them to come out to troubleshoot the problem, another 10 days for authorization, which I already had from LG, then another week for them to order parts. I then was told parts were on backorder. Then I was told today they would not do the repair because they were upset that I complained to the BBB. Very unprofessional and I'm sorry you're mad that I complained, but I feel it's important for others to know about how bad your service.

    The repair person arrived within the 1/2 hour appointment time frame. He listened to what I said was happening to the cooling system and accurately diagnosed the problem with a quick electrical test. Although he didn't have the part on his truck, he was able to order it locally, left to get it, and returned with the part within 45 minutes. After defrosting the coils behind the panel in the back of the freezer, the new part was installed and everything began working just fine. A thorough clean-up was done. The labor time was very reasonably adjusted because of his need to leave and return. I would definitely use The Appliance Doctor again.

    After checking Angie's list for companies and asking friends, Maple Appliance is what we chose. I called at almost closing time on Friday and they were here on Saturday morning. The repairman was personable while getting the job done. He opened the freezer and in 5 seconds told us what was wrong. Thankfully he had the parts on his truck and was able to fix the fridge in less than an hour. Thank you!!

    Excellent service-came when they said they would. Very knowledgable of the problem and although the part wasn't fixable (a GE problem, defect with the fridge) He gave me a few options of ways to resolve the problem. I would definitely call Tony's Appliance again.

    They came out to fix the gasket on the door of my front load washing machine. They didn't install it properly and the next few loads of laundry all the clothes came out with a bunch of holes in them. By the time I realized what was happening hundreds of dollars in clothes were ruined. I had a different company come out and fix the gasket in 5 minutes. I called maple and the manager refused to give me my $350 back that they charged me to install a gasket the wrong way. I asked to speak to the owner. He said he was out of town and that he would have him call me and I never heard from anyone.

    no problems with the tech; my problems are with the clothes washing top-load GE model.  If I was paying for this myself, I wouldn't have agreed to the motor-with-circuit-board assembly replacement.  A simple swap out, but it looked like a really expensive part.

    PHIL'S APPLIANCE SVC
    PHIL'S APPLIANCE IS THE CONTRACT SERVICE PROVIDER THROUGH DTE'S APPLIANCE SERVICE PLAN.
    Over the past three months, we?ve had three different appliances serviced by Phil?s. One (the dishwasher) was not under our service contract, was fixed after 2 weeks.
    The stove and hood have been the other two appliances. I haven?t recorded all of the calls that we?ve had for these appliances, but here?s what happened.  We called DTE?s Appliance Plan to report that the hood lights were not working and the stove top was not firing-up, or spark-lighting, the gas burners.  We had resorted to lighting the stove manually.  The first service call, I took off from work and Phil?s didn't show.  The second time Phil?s did a service call was to ?look? at the problem. They deduced that they didn't have the proper expertise to diagnose the problem (I told them the fuses were blown on the hood but they didn?t want to listen.).I may have filed a complaint with DTE at this point.The third time, they sent two technicians to look at the stove and the hood. They could not remove the top from the range, told us that they would need to consult with DTE, and left.
    We called them back through DTE?s appliance plan after not hearing back from Phil?s. Phil?s called us back to schedule another visit. They didn?t show.We filed another complaint.Phil?s came out again. The service tech looked at the stove and determined, again, that they would DEFINITELY need to talk to DTE. Side note: He also caused a gas leak in our stove, we called Consumers Energy. They came out and shut the gas off to the stove completely.  Now we didn?t have use of our stove.
    We didn?t hear back from Phil?s Appliance and so we called DTE, again. Phil?s determined that they would have to remove the range and ?cut? part of the stove off, in order to get to the parts that they had broken underneath. They also informed us that they would have to charge us ?extra?, but they would cut us a ?break? for the labor. Yay!They came and took our stove. They?ve had it for three weeks. Multiple calls. They say ?no parts?, ?parts are in?, ?no parts?.  The hood has yet to be fixed.  Sound fun yet?
    Finally, on 10/19, they brought out our range top and installed it.  It's loose, but at this point, we're just happy to have it back.  The technician was also supposed to fix the range hood, but simply gave my wife the fuses that it required and told her to "fix it herself".

    I could have done this myself but I never have the time. He was able to have it working in about ten minutes. He is friendly and really knew what he was doing. He also has repaired my washer and is fair in price too.
