    Josh did an awesome job! He was on time, gave us a clear timeline and cost for our project to be completed, and started immediately. We were impressed by how quickly he was able to add 3 outlets, he did not have to rip out drywall, and he cleaned up after he was finished. I could not recommend Current Electrical Systems and Josh enough!

    Perfection Home Remodeling
    We had no basement bathroom...which was badly needed when large out of state family members come for Michigan family gatherings. Now...with new full additional basement bathroom: shower, toilet, vanity and storage closet...we have fantastic bonus bathroom now. The owner, Joe..and office manager - Tracy.. were so friendly and comfortable with design questions....it was easy to eliminate several other companies that we were also considering. They stayed involved throughout the project. Team leader, Mike, and ongoing partner, J.T.- gave our home personal care, fine detailing and left NO room for worries. The entire construction went smoothly from every daily arrival to daily construction departures during bathroom build out.. We had no stress nor hassles. There was no after care cleanup of their construction materials or damages. We will look to Perfection Remodeling for future home repairs, electrical, painting because they treat your home with fantastic care!!

    Perfection Home Remodeling
    --The Good-- Perfection's price was good for the work they did. They were the lowest of all the quotes we got by a couple thousand dollars. The price listed below was just for the labor. We provided almost all the materials ourselves. Everyone working for perfection was really nice too. They were always willing to answer questions. They made lots of effort to make sure we were happy with their company and the work they were doing. They were generally easy to get hold of. E-mails and phone calls were responded to in a reasonable amount of time. They had quite a few good suggestions for what would look nice and how to do things. When things went wrong they always did their best to fix whatever the issue was. The quality of the work is very good. Our new bathroom looks fantastic, and it's so much more functional than it was before. Ultimately, quality and cost were my two primary concerns, and they are why Perfection still got a B despite the problems we had. --The Bad-- The job took much longer than it was supposed to. What was originally supposed to be a 4 week job ended up taking about 7 weeks to finish. A big part of this was due to a few times where work was done incorrectly and had to be redone. Throughout the project there were numerous instances of poor communication on Perfection's part. And that led to a bunch of other problems. They often didn't communicate what work was being done when. They didn't tell us things we needed to do until the last minute, and sometimes not at all. They did work without confirming first that they were doing the right thing, leading to the rework mentioned above. For example we told them several times which tile went where in the bathroom (floor til vs. wall tile). They didn't tell us we should write that on the tile boxes themselves, and they installed the wrong tile on the shower wall without checking with us first. I felt like I had to micromanage the whole project myself. I wasn't able to rely on Perfection's expertise as much as I had hoped I would. And it often seemed like the only way to make sure the work got done correctly was to be at the house constantly to supervise and answer questions. Which was difficult since my wife and I both work full time. Most of the problems we had with Perfection all relate in some way to project management. The actual remodeling work they did was great, but they could stand to seriously improve the way they manage their projects and communicate with their customers.

    Affordable Code Electric
    AWFUL. This is literally the RUDEST company I have ever dealt with. They were sent out by my home warranty company to fix my attic fan. They received my deductible/payment for their service call and would not even leave a receipt. The technician said that he had to order parts and would contact me in a few days. A few days pass, and I hear nothing. I called 3 more times and never once heard anything back. I finally called my home warranty again and they said the claim had been denied. They told my home warranty that I "abused" the fan. This is COMPLETELY untrue. When he got to my house, he did not even know what the vents were for on my attic fan! But, all that aside, they never ONCE called me back. I had to call my home warranty twice to get them to even give me a receipt. I emailed them to try and find out details of what they thought was wrong with my fan and they told me to call my warranty company. It���s the technician���s job to tell me what���s wrong. Even the warranty company stated this. The lady's that answer the phone at this place are awful and you won���t ever get anywhere with them. I would never EVER use them again. They got my $100 for nothing and I still have no idea what���s wrong with my fan. They will just take your money and not return your calls. Do yourself a favor and call someone else.

    They came out on time, did the work as estimated, cleaned up, and sent an inspector out to verify the service was completed to code.  Very happy with this company.  My entire family uses this company over, and over again.  They are trustworthy, and fairly priced.

    HandyPro Handyman Service Inc
    He was kind of frustrating. He didn't scrape the paint before he painted, so I had to have that redone. He installed my doorbell, but proceeded not wanting to make the adjustments for the bell setting that I wanted. He ended up doing it, but it wasn't a pleasant experience.

    Everything was great. We used the Angie's List Service In A Snap option. Van Buren Electric was selected for us by Angie's List and we accepted the offer.  I never even spoke to someone from Van Buren until the day before when they called to confirm - Angie's List handled everything else. The electrician showed up right on time, assessed the problem, and then left to get parts.  He was back within 30 minutes.  The install took less than 10 minutes.  From when he showed up to when the job was complete it was just over an hour.  Everything has been working perfectly.

    Very well. They got to work right away and didn't ask a bunch of questions other than what I wanted done. I Iearned a little bit about when a socket goes bad and when to call. They worked quickly and did everything I asked without a bunch of unnessecary information. I was surprised at how low the cost was vs. what they did. I thought it would be a lot more.

    State of the Art Handyman
    I have rehabbed homes by hiring handymen and subcontractors in five states.  It is very hard to find a handyman as good as Art Nanian.  He is very knowledgeable in multiple trades, is well equipped with tools, is diligent about providing high quality work, and was reasonably priced.  I highly recommend Art as ethical and a true professional.
