  I never heard back from them. Not a "We don't want your job" or "The price is $xxx but we won't be able to start for x weeks" or "We will not be there to measure for 5 more days because we have been busy ." Nothing,. Then I emailed them through their website and told them I was disappointed because I never heard back and I didn't expect that reaction due given their high rating on Angie's List. To this date (6/3) - weeks later - I have STILL HEARD NOTHING. I have no idea why they chose to turn away business or failed to even return the call or email - but I know I would not trust this business given the complete lack of common courtesy let alone failure to do what they said they would/could do.

  This is the second or third time that I've worked with them on my driveway, and this time I get it all on email. They were very quick with responses and it was really easy to interact with them via email, because I was kind of email them, and they email back rather than previously doing it over the phone. I thought the email was awesome, like in how quickly I got the response back, you know letting me know on the status of like oh the water doesn't look so goo, we're going to try to remove it out, just keeping me in the loop on when they are coming and all that stuff. We pretty much did all the entire transactions over email which I really appreciated. They were there on the day that they said, with that I actually think they stayed later because I was expecting it to be done when I got home, and they were just starting when I got home like after 5 o'clock, and I know that they were working with some OT's, so from that point, I really appreciated that.  Sp they stuck to I'm going to do it on this day and the crew that came out were there.

  Cannot recommend this company enough. Adam's team gave a very competitive estimate (at least $1000 cheaper than larger companies in the area) and scheduled services within 2-3 weeks as we waited until mid-summer to schedule. Adam's team came when they said they were going to come (very punctual both times: once for the tear out and initial pour/paving of the binder layer and once again to apply the final topping layer). Our driveway had deep ruts/grooves near the top where the driveway met the garage and I pointed that out to the foreman. After the tearout, the foreman found me and explained that the prior driveway paving did not apply a deep enough layer of asphalt (only barely an inch had been there). At no extra charge, the team dug further down into the ground so that there was enough room to apply the full 3 inches of asphalt necessary to support the weight of cars. The entire team were very professional. I have small kids and other kids in the neighborhood around, and the crew were not loud and obnoxious like other paving crews I have witnessed. They cleaned up the site both times they were there very, very well. Just a class operation all around - thanks, Adam!

  This is my third time using Select Sealcoating and Asphalt Paving (I paver job and 2 sealcoating jobs). Each experience has been really great! I appreciate Adam's quick communication and responsiveness to questions and flexibility when scheduling the work, in addition to the fair price. His crew did a nice job prepping the driveway (edging, removing old rubberized crack filler) and then filling in the cracks with sand and filler before applying the sealer. In addition, they did not get any sealer on the sidewalk or my paver walkways that abut the driveway. The crew is conscientious and his foreman was personable and answered all my questions giving me the confidence in their ability and expertise. The driveway looks great and I plan to continue using Select Sealcoating and Asphalt Paving in the future.

  Called and they got back to me same day. Came out next day and we agreed on price.  Called back when he was going to be in area as I was not in hurry to get it done. He called said  he would be in area guys showed up on time and in less than three hours I had a great looking driveway.   The price was good and we put it on the calendar.  I expected that his crew would simply lay 2 inches of asphalt on top of a old driveway, but they first dug out about 4 feet of the old driveway by the garage and another 2 feet at the top of the driveway by the street.  They then filled in existing holes and removed several other spots of crumbling driveway.  The crew of eight were on time and had the job done in under 4 hours.  Their excellent cleanup included blowing out any debris in our garage which has saved me a spring cleaning.  We have been using Select for many years for a yearly touch-up and will use them again in the future.

  I am very pleased with the work that Adam did. His crew swept in and quickly and neatly took care of everything that needed to be done. Adam was quick to respond to any questions we had. Additionally, he discouraged me from sealing my driveway because he told me it is something that doesn't need to be done every two years. He could have easily just taken my money and sealed the driveway, but he honorably declined. I really appreciate his honesty. I HIGHLY recommend Select Sealcoating and Asphalt!!!!

  Adam and his crew replaced several large sections of our circular driveway along our street and sidewalk summer. They were very punctual and very efficient, yet thorough. Also, they did not damage the gutter curb or our sidewalk at both ends of our driveway. We were very happy with the quality of the work and the cleanup afterward. It was not a huge job so several companies we contacted would not do it for us but Adam was happy to take on the job and gave us a fair price. We we just had Select seal coat our driveway after nearly one year, in order to let the oils from the new asphalt dissipate and evaporate as recommend by Select and other asphalt companies. We are very happy with the work the crew did with the seal coating. They were very punctual, efficient and did a great job not getting the seal coat on the sidewalk and our brick pavers. With both jobs, Adam always did a good job responding to emails and phone calls as required. We will definitely consider Select for our future asphalt and concrete needs.

  Birmingham Sealcoat

  They did a pretty good job. We had a lot of cracks and there was a limit as to how much they would do for the deal we purchased. To fill all of our crqcks would have cost way too much, so that was disappointing.
