    had an appointment, timely and courteous, they performed and overall inspection of which they informed me up front.

    service writer took to my car and showed me the front brakes were worn out and the tires were edge worn. found my sticker indicated

    that I was due for an oil change. they gave me a good price on the work, did not try to sell me anything not needed, but informed me

    of future services that would be needed before winter. I work close to the shop and they gave me a ride to work and picked me up.

    car was done when promised, the whole experience was done very professionally. would definitely recommend to others for auto

    Toyota of Grand Rapids has been servicing my vehicle since I purchased it used approximately two years ago.  One of my neighbors works there (not as a service tech) and because of that, she will drive my vehicle in for me on occasion.  Approximately 9 months ago, my vehicle was serviced for oil change.  Approximately 3 days later, I noted a puddle of oil under the car.  I brought the car back and the drain plug was tightened and oil topped off. (free of charge).  My service rep, Blaine, apologized for the problem. The next time the vehicle was brought in for LOF, approximately three months later, I was informed that the brakes needed replacement. This trip was for LOF and I did not have time for the brake job then so I made an appointment for the following week.  The vehicle was brought in for the brake job and a couple of days later I again noticed a puddle of oil.  I brought the vehicle back and I was told that some material had formed around the drain plug but they replaced the gasket (no charge).  I explained to Blaine that this was something that was becoming a real pain as not only did I have to return, but I had to clean oil off my garage floor.  Blaine then offered a free oil change next time.
    On Oct 4 of this year, I brought the vehicle in for 90,000 mile service where several items were attended to as per schedule including LOF.  My neighbor had brought the vehicle in for me and was on her way home when I received a call from Blaine advising me that after service had been done and my neighbor had left with the vehicle, he had found some oil under where my vehicle had been parked.  It should be noted that the problem with oil leaks had been noted on the service order. Blaine asked if I could bring the vehicle back on Monday Oct 7. This was not possible and so it was agreed that someone would look at it on Sat, Oct 5.  I again brought the vehicle back and the drain plug was replaced.  At this time when the service rep who was taking care of me explained that the drain plug was replaced, I expressed to him that this was getting to be too much.  Not only the return trips each time the vehicle was serviced but the cleaning of the garage floor from leaking oil.  I asked how service mechanics could continue to miss oil leaks from the drain plug.  His attitude was not at all sympathetic.  When I advised him that this was going to cost him a customer, he just shrugged it off.  Too bad. I will say that it all fairness Blaine has been decent and seems embarrassed by this situation,but a Toyota dealership's service department should be able to perform an oil change without having the need for a customer to return for oil leaks.  The attitude of the last service rep as well as the poor quality of the service work has lost them a customer.  I am sure they don't care but I will pass this information on to others

    This was the first time I used Arie Nol, at the suggestion of a previous neighbor. I had just started to notice a clanging sound coming from my driver side rear tire. I dropped it off on a Sunday night noting the problem and also asked them to check the breaks. There were a lot of cars in the lot and I was a little concerned any repair would take a long time. I called mid-morning on Monday to check on the car and was informed that it would be looked at either end of day Monday or Tuesday morning. My wife drove me to work on Tuesday, at which time I listened to my messages stating the car was done. They told me I just had a lot of rust on one drum. They cleaned it and the noise went away. They looked at all of the breaks and told me there was no need to do anything with them. I was charged for 30 minutes of labor.

    They work primarily on Land Rovers and on anything else that a customer might bring them. The mechanics know exactly what they are doing and I trust them. They explain in detail exactly what you need to know. The lead mechanic has around 30 years of experience and he knows just exactly what he is talking about. You call them and they will fit you in as soon as they can. The price is high but you get what you pay for, and I will pay their price. I don't really shop around that much for mechanics, and I know that their rents are going up.
