I have been seeing Dr. Wilde for over 20 years, he is an excellent eye doctor. He ensures you receive a thorough eye exam and makes sure any concerns or questions you have are addressed. The staff is friendly and efficient.

I had been going to this eyecare provider for a few years and things were going well.  Then when my prescription changed to trifocals and I needed new glasses, everything went downhill.  I paid $400 for a pair of trifocals and wore them for a week.  I was not able to see out of the new glasses.  I went back SIX times to ask them to change my glasses to make sure I could see right.  Every time, I was met by the technician who told me "keep wearing them and your eyes will adjust".   This went on for 2 months.  The glasses were making me dizzy and I kept having to resort to my old pair that I was not able to read with but at least they didn't make me dizzy.   Because my insurance wouldn't pay for another pair of glasses because of the expiration period of the glasses.  I have since gone to another eyecare provider which is a bit farther from my house but they give better service.

Doctor was again overbooked. Waited 3 hours in the office for a 45 minute exam. Secretaries made mistake with my appointment time. Every time I see the doctor I have a billing problem. It is never ending billing issues and overbooking of patients. If you have an entire morning or afternoon to waste then this would be a great office to go to. The doctor is thorough but is always overbooked and is always in a rush.

Foreign object successfully removed with little difficulty and provide prescription for antibiotic. Healed without incident. Second appointment for eye exam went well.

I have a family history or cataracts and glacoma but do not have either personally. I like to be seen by an opthamologist every so often just to make sure nothing is developing. Seems like the doctors at this practice prefer to see patients who have already been diagnosed with such things rather than those with healthy eyes for preventative care.
My husband also had a type of non-incision laser surgery here about 5 years ago that was very successful and he has been extremely happy.

Their examination was quite thorough.  It got me hooked me into a different kind of contacts that is working much better to me.  I was pleased with their service.  I have the same contacts for a number of years, and nobody have ever changed them.

I initially waited to see Dr. Trapp for 15 minutes after arriving - this was the only downside of my experience and I have seen him again since my first appointment and did not have to wait on my second visit. I have been going to eye doctors since the age of 9 and found Dr. Trapp to be one of the best, if not the best, eye doctors I have seen. He is extremely knowledgable and down-to-earth. One of the things I liked most about him is that, in contrast to one of the previous practices I used, he does not rely on any assistants but does everything himself. He performed the typical eye exam and eye prescription tests on me and did so extremely expediently. In addition, Dr. Trapp did a great job explaining to me what kind of contacts he wanted to order for me and what he wanted to do with my prescription. Best of all, he did this quickly but without making me feel rushed. The initial contacts Dr. Trapp ordered for me were not the right fit - I have a very strong prescription and acute astigmatism. He ordered me a second pair that I just picked up and which are wonderful - I am seeing virtually 20/20! I highly recommend Dr. Trapp to anyone. I think it is also wonderful that the practice has laser surgery as an option, and although I chose not to explore that option at this time, I may do so in the future.

I would highly recommend him. He is very informative. He is one of the leaders in his field because he has done a lot of these contacts before other people. He tells it like it is, exactly if he can help you or not. He is busy and I couldn't get in right away. When I made my appointment I had a month to wait, so he is obviously in demand. His office environment is beautiful and very clean.

I got my last eye exam about a year ago. I had to go back over six times, and I still don't see right with my glasses. After a while I just gave up and kept using my old prescription while alternating with my new prescription for a while to see if my eyes would adjust. It took me ten months to get used my prescription and even then I was dizzy. if I wore them for long amounts of time, and the glare from light was bad too. Every time I went back into the store, the personnel said well just to keep using the glasses and eventually I would get used to them. They did minor adjustments and just shrugged when I told them I was still having problems. I told them I was dizzy and they asked how long did I push through the dizziness and told me to come back in about ten days after I tried it out longer and things like that. They also blamed it on the lens manufacturer, saying there was nothing they could do about it. I have been going to this provider for 8 years and didn't have a problem until now but they obviously don't want my business anymore. The Dr. prescribed me trifocals, I had never had trifocals prior going to this clinic, but this past time it was my second pair of trifocals. One of the times I did go back, I told them I was having problems with driving with my glasses and they said with trifocals you have to hold your head a certain way in order to get the very small spot where it won't be blurry in the lens...that's just the way trifocals work. The strange thing is that I didn't have problems with my last prescription from this clinic, which was also trifocals. All I know is that I am trying to see correctly, not to keep going back to complain. After all, I am not complaining about the style of a necklace or something, I can't see! I am currently seeking out another eye care provider. Six times is too many times to go back to a place just to be given a poor excuse to wear them longer and eventually they will work right.
