    Sam and Amy did an amazing job. The kitchen and bathroom gleamed, all the baseboards in the entire area were dusted and cleaned. The windows were cleaned, furniture dusted, even the slats on the bi-fold doors were cleaned. They were prompt and cheerful and worked steadily the entire time they were here.       We contacted Discover Clean and asked about cleaning our house on a recurring basis. They said that they would provide a "deep cleaning" to start which would take 4-5 hours and then we could set up a weekly, bi-weekly, tri-weekly or monthly "maintenance" clean. That sounded great, we asked if we could meet them beforehand since we weren't sure if we would be home during their cleanings. They agreed and we met about a week later. The meeting went well, they seemed very nice, but did seem a little amateur; no business cards, no leave behind material, no contract to sign, no references to give, although they said they would provide references, they never did. We also asked if they had a policy of addressing any issues we might have, eg. if contacted within 24 hours of a cleaning and missed something coming back to address without fee (15min max). They said sure we can do that, but know that in 3 years of doing this nobody has ever called back about the quality of our cleaning. That sounded great and after a walkthrough of the house they said that there was a LOT of dust and it would likely take closer to 5 hours and then might need addl. deep cleaning during the follow up visits. We agreed and set up a schedule of the deep clean and maintenance cleanings. 

      My wife was home during the deep clean and it seemed to go well, they were about 45 minutes late to the appointment; but they did run out of time before they were able to finish all aspects. They said they would take care of the remainder during the next time in 2 weeks during the maintenance clean. My wife and I noted about a dozen things either missed or forgotten. We thought "since they know they didn't have time to finish, we don't need to point out what they missed". We scheduled the follow up for 11am, a time that we would not be home.  My mother lives with us with mild dementia and anxiety issues so schedules are important to us. The day before they contacted us and said they would be there at noon instead of 11am.  They did finally show up at 12:45pm.  They didn't let us know they would be late, I had to text them at 12:35 to see when their ETA would be.  They said 10 min.  After they completed their work they didn't leave any information about being there or if they had completed all the work requested or how long they had been at the house.  At this point we didn't know how long they worked and how much this would have cost.  We noticed plenty of things that were forgotten.  We assumed that this was a completed work and didn't have anything more from the deep cleaning to perform.  I texted Christine (Discover Clean) to have her call us back when she had a few minutes to discuss the work that was completed.  When she did call back, we asked if this was a "maintenance" clean or still had "deep cleaning" aspects to complete.  I mentioned that if this was a maintenance clean, that we were not happy with the results and might need to find a different company.  She said this was not typical of maintenance clean and they were still working on the deep clean aspects.  I said ok, that would have been nice to know since we were under the impression that the deep clean aspects would have been taken care of today.  She asked what the items were that we noticed and I started listing the approx 25 items that were missed or still needed attention.  After the first item, she interrupted me to explain that it had been cleaned and it should be fine.  As I kept listing the missed items, Billy (her husband) kept talking in the background to her and making it very hard to hear / discuss the list of items.  I asked that she either put the cell on speaker so I could hear what he was trying to say or to have him be quiet.  She didn't put it on speaker and he kept interrupting, although not as much, but still annoying.  About half way through the list she stated that she was embarrassed by the list of items we still have and felt like her company is not the right company for us.  I asked why they didn't tell us the deep cleaning was still not done and that they had run out of time again.  I asked why she hadn't asked us for more time to work, or to come on a more frequent basis. She indicated that she was trying to save us money.  We never gave an indication that we were in a financial hardship and spending more to get the job done wouldn't work.  We were open to hearing how they would address this problem, but they didn't offer any way to fix the situation.  She repeated that they didn't feel like we were a good fit and didn't offer to fix the work.  While the list of items was long, to fix them would have taken less than 30 minutes, which we would have been open to paying for.  She said they had been there for 2 hours and weren't going to charge us for the appointment.  I stated that they had worked hard and we wanted to pay for the service.  She disagreed and I asked again to be sent an invoice.  She said that we weren't a good fit and that we should find another company.  I said "you are firing yourselves, I'm not asking for you not to work for us, I wanted to know 'is this a normal clean, or still a deep clean'".  She apologized again and said they had just got home and were exasperated from a hard day and I asked her to take 24 hours, collect her thoughts and get back to us on how to move forward.  I haven't heard anything from them since.  Disappointing.

      I feel like the major problem here was a lack of communication from the providers.  If they would have stated a desire to come more often or work for longer that would have been helpful.  I've never had a service provider come to the house and not leave a note or receipt that work had been done.  If they would have let us know that they were still not done with the deep cleaning we would have been more forgiving.  We thought the deep clean was done after the second appointment and judged the result as such.  The fact that there was never an attempt to fix the problem really grinds my gears.  Just to have someone state "no one has ever complained and requested follow up" but would be open to coming back if needed, then to abandon us after making a critique seems unprofessional.

    It went perfect. I couldn't be happier. What Veda committed to her girls cared for. I had a few special request regarding natural cleaning products which was no problem in fact she informed me on some great products and methods. I will defently have them clean for me on a weekly basis.

    We had a little confusion about the time scheduled (more on my part), but the owner was very responsive and was still able to have 2 girls come out and clean. They were very professional and worked quickly, and did a nice job. I hope to have them come back and do the bedrooms as well as the rest of the house when they're a little less cluttered! :)

    Nancy called me back on time and was able to schedule the cleaning ASAP as I have asked. The team of 2 arrived on time and while I only wanted to take care of the glass tops and the surfaces, they did much more than that. Sorted out and put away the dishes, organized the silverware drawer, washed the glass lights, upholstered the furniture, and cleaned on top of all the fridge, microvawe, and the fan which often get neglected, also vacuumed and made my bed that never gets made)
