    Beaumont Hospital,Troy
That was a wonderful experience too where my doctor did the surgery. They have two locations and I went to the Troy location. You can have an excellent surgeon but if the hospital is not good then that kind of spoils it. Everything was absolutely magnificent like the hospital, the surgeon and the doctors who came in to check up on me. The hospital is attractive, neat and clean. The nurses are very effective and comforting. They provide good service. The doctors are caring. The physical therapy was very good that they included for orthopaedic patients. They gave me a pill even if it was a course during the night. They gave me what I needed. They monitored me for everything. I wasn’t wanting for anything. It’s a regular hospital. An orthopaedic was on its floor. It’s not a hospital just for one thing. I was under anaesthesia and I did not know what was going on but my husband claimed that I had to wait like three hours for a room. They were so busy. They were going to improve it. I looked out for a window. I was lucky I got a bed by a window. I looked up on a higher floor. I could see the scaffolding and they were remodeling another floor. Because they were so busy, they’ve outgrown just one floor and there’s going to be another one.

    Henry Ford Hospital

Excellent care and treatment and I only wish we had know about the services provided by Henry Ford sooner. Not only was the medical staff top notch but the support staff (nurses and social workers) were nothing less than excellent. Often anticipating our needs before we even realized we had the need.

We were so satisfied that when my wife needed Hospice care, we used the Henry Ford Hospice in-patient facility. Again a very compassionate and caring staff. I hope you never need their services but if you do, Henry Ford is the only place to go.

There are other local hospitals that advertise heavily in the local area. Don't believe a word they say. Go directly to Henry Ford if you want medical professionals that are motivated, well trained, and compassionate. They are also surrounded by the best nursing and social work staff in the SE Michigan area.

    Royal Oak Medical Center
She was treated with an antibiotic prescribed by a doctor at the clinic. She had a sinus infection, and the medicine took care of the infection.
I occasionally use this clinic, when we can't wait for an appointment with our regular doctors. Is nice to know you can get seen without an appointment, and get tested and treated for minor medical issues. If my teens has a sore throat or sinus infection, I can them treatment, anytime, even on Sunday!
The doctors are always nice, as is the staff.
The wait varies, but is well worth it when you need fast treatment. Also, costs me only my copay of $20 to be treated. Testing is a little extra.
Overall, I am very pleased with this medical center.

Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan
The BCBS is one of the largest health insurance providers, and sometimes I felt annoying with their bureaucratic manners, but it really varied with different representatives. I cannot blame much because they are literally a big company. Their website was well maintained, and actually provides all the details and status of medical claims. For me, wide coverage of health insurance is the priority and overall I satisfied with the BCBS service (with PPO).

    Beaumont Hospital
A On June 8th of 2012 I walked into labor and delivery 8 cm dilated. My Dr. who is affiliated with the hospital was with me in a matter of minutes. I told him I was ready to have this baby NOW. They rushed me to the delivery room where everyone began to prep and
prepare. When the Dr. went to check me my water broke and my daughters cord prolapsed. Meaning it came out first. My daughter was estimated to be around 12lbs. The Dr. literally stayed on the gurney with me holding the baby and cord inside as they whisked me to the operating room. Within only a few seconds there were 18 people in the room (I asked as I lay there!). All ready to save mine and my babies life. I never seen people assemble so fast. I was terrified because everything was happening so fast. A nurse held my hand and the anesthesiologist assured me everything would be ok.
When I awoke in recovery I learned when my baby was born and miraculously they had her out within 13 minutes of me entering that delivery room! She was more than 11lbs and she was not breathing when she arrived. They resuscitated her. They also tended to me as I needed a blood transfusion. All of them combined saved the life of my daughter and myself with their quick thinking and quick action.
I had one negative experience at this hospital in the past in a different area but as far as labor and delivery goes.. I wouldn't go anywhere else. I've had 3 children there. Aside from one nurse who insinuated I was over-reacting during the birth of my first child (He ended up being 10lbs. No over-reaction lol). I have nothing but positive things to say about the labor and delivery staff. The nurses who care for you afterwards as well. Everyone there was incredibly kind to me.
The labor and delivery rooms are very comfortable. Are clean and have plenty of space for friends and family. Most of the rooms have a view overlooking the pond behind the hospital. Meals are decent and you can order from a menu, and you have quite a large selection. It's almost like regular room service.
I would absolutely 100% recommend this hospital if you will be giving birth.

If you have hours to wait then this is the place to go. Very unefficient from start to end. Attempted to find out how much the cost would be since I have insurance. After talking to 10 different people they still couldn't tell me! and quot;Well it could be a couple hundred or a couple thousandand quot; I was told. Felt like killing myself after dealing with their ineptitidute. Stay home and take care of yourself if at all possible. You will most likely die of dehydration by the time they see you.

    Beaumont Hospital,Troy
They are very good. I am a diabetes and my blood sugar level had dropped so my wife called the EMS people. It was interesting experience as I had worked in hospitals before. I was there and they checked me over as there was nothing more for them to do as EMS people had done everything. It is only two miles away from my house. I have been going to the emergency room only and it seems to be very effective. They got me out of the EMS and hauled me inside. I have been there more than once. They keep me for lot longer living than I am and they let me go. They are very reliable.

The Beaumont Hospital-Troy staff are thorough in providing you with the information you need to know to prepare, done by phone, and sent to you in the mail, as well. The staff and doctors are very competent and the entire procedure runs promptly and smoothly from start to finish.

    Target - Troy
They were excellent.  Staff is bright and helpful.  Prescriptions were always on time and as promised.  If there was a problem, they always called to let me know.  (Some pharmacies do not, so you don't find out that your prescription isn't available until you get to the store.)
    Great communication.
They even use innovative and clever pill bottles that are easy to read and color coded by patient.

I don't use Target any more, but only because my new health insurance policy gives financial incentives for using a different drug store. Not because of any problem with Target.

Will go back to Target in a minute if my insurance changes again.

    Beaumont Hospital
I like the competence throughout the whole hospital process. It doesn't matter whether it is emergency room intake, the staff surgeons and doctors or the medical care from the nurses. The whole thing is very professional and very prompt. There is no fooling around and no unnecessary waiting. They will accept virtually any real insurance. This has never happened to me but the lady in front of me had no insurance of any sort so they were working with her to help her figure out how to pay for her services. They were very friendly and really working hard and I am sure that that patient appreciated all the accommodation that Beaumont was able to provide, but for me I am well insured so there have never been any problems at all. I know for sure that Beaumont works hard to service anybody whether they have insurance or not. Beaumont is a private hospital not a government affiliated or religious affiliated outfit so they don't have to take people that don't have insurance but they do.
