ADun Rite PaintingWe are so pleased with the work done by Phil and his Dun Rite painting team. We felt that his initial quote of 5500.00 for our project was very reasonable, given the size and complexity of our home (two stories on the front, three on the back). At the time of the quote, Phil walked us through all of the steps he would complete during the project. He explained that any siding repairs would cost extra. Once we signed and sent in the deposit, Phil and his team worked every possible non-rainy, non-snowy day to get the job done. In preparing the house for painting, Phil identified a lot of small things that needed to be fixed; I very much appreciated this, as they are things that I would not have caught that could have gotten worse and caused more damage if not fixed now. I feel that, although we ended up needing about 34 man-hours of repairs at an additional cost, it was all worth it because our paint job, siding and roof will look better and last longer. I am excited to see how much more efficient our home is in regards to heating/cooling thanks to all of the caulking they completed. The house looks beautiful, and I think that Phil's thorough job will ensure that we won't have to do this project again for many years. You can tell that Phil takes great pride in his work, and will do what it takes to ensure a quality result for your project. I gave them a "B" for professionalism only because we heard some "colorful" language during the scaffolding process - not a big deal for us, but might prompt a few questions if kids hear it. Aside from that, they were very professional, cleaned up the work areas nicely every day, and were always courteous. I would definitely recommend them for your painting project.- Jane P.

AAdams Custom PaintingAdams Painting AKA Deck Doctors did a great job restaining my Deck. the Owner, Chris Adams, came and performed a professional estimate and gave me all the options for material, color, etc. When the choice was made he was able to get me scheduled in a reasonable time. It being a deck I understood it was dependant on weather. His crew came and Power washed the whole thing ahead of time to properly prepare the surface. His crew of three workers came while I was at work and was I surprised at how fast they completed the job. They Brush stroked the whole job, no spray application and NO DRIPS anywhere! Very impressed with the quality of the job. If you are looking for a high quality job I highly recoment Adams Painting. He is very knowledgable of the painting business and is not looking to cut corners.- Brig C.

AAbove and Beyond HandymanWe use him all summer and fall doing boat prep and storage. Repainting the sides of the house, concrete repair and tuck pointing brick walkway. He built stairs into my storage area in the garage to make it easier to step up. Also painted and repaired deck skirting. AAdvanced Quality Chimney ProfessionalsThis experience is proof that great people know great people! Carl was not able to do the work personally because, as is typically the case, the great ones in any craft are difficult to get a hold of; his schedule was fully booked for the remainder of the year. His wife provided me with suggestions for getting through the winter as well as checking with others that were capable and reliable that Carl would be comfortable referring me to. They referred me to Kevin Lupo, who did an outstanding job. Everything worked out as expected. I explained my expectations in terms of protecting the roof and making sure that no debris or residual materials were left on the roof. Kevin and I agreed on a price range, and we scheduled the work. In that, Kevin was very flexible allowing for my work schedule so I was able to be there while he was working. Kevin and his assistant were there and working without any need for supervision on my part -- which was good because I needed to be working while I was there. And they were done on time as expected. This goes to demonstrate the high-caliber character and work ethic of Carl, at Advanced Quality Chimney. Once again, great people know great people and the fact that Carl referred me to Kevin proves that point. I am 100% certain that I would have been taken care of just as well or better (if that's even possible!) if Carl had been able to do the work himself. I would refer anyone to Carl (or Kevin) at anytime for chimney work.- Corey D.

ASPARKLE WASHSparkle wash arrived a couple of minutes early, clean the siding and my deck and pointed out that they could clean the mold on my stairs and I said really and they did and did nor charge me even thought this was not in the original quote. They also used "green" cleaning products that did not hurt any of my surrounding shrubs or garden.- John W.

BJust okay. Very responsive in coming out to give me a quote, but I didn't hear from them after the job was sold - I had to call their office three days later to find out when they were coming. I then got a text from the salesman saying they'd be out at the end of the following week, much later than I'd wanted them there since the birds had begun nesting in the soffit again. Also expensive - about $500 for a job that took literally 15 minutes - about $80 of that was for the plastic cap they put over the soffit. Not a lot of companies do birds, though, so I went with this one.

FHiring this guy Joshua was a complete waste of time and effort. He promised to come 3 times and gave excuses every time as to why he could'nt. I'm sick, flat tire, ran out of gas etc... Finally when he came and was almost done I paid him for the fall clean up and a cord of wood, he left to go get the wood and was never seen from again. Texted back and forth for about a month, nothing but excuses, never finished job I paid him for. Then said he was going to send me money back and never did. Said through text that the reason he didnt is because i didnt talk to him with respect, this is after about 20 excuses, not sure what he expected. He then proceeded to challenge me to come to his house and try to physically take my money back LOL. This guy is a real professional. I wish I would have read the other reviews before I hired him.

FThe initial work on my small deck however, the stain disintegrated within a few months. Chris Adams, the owner, warrantied the stain and asked to restain it in the fall of 2019. He was too busy and told me I would my job would be the first on his list in the spring Of 2020. The preparation was done in the summer, however now he says he is again too busy and short staffed! Do NOT hire!
