AAlpine Electric CorpWe are very happy with the services performed! Jennifer, the lead Electrician arrived about two and a half hours early then scheduled. Her previous job was completed earlier than expected. She called and asked if she could come by earlier, we said yes. She arrived and went to work right away. After scoping out the job, she called Fred and ask him to bring some additional supplies. Fred arrived and began assembling/installing the light/fan fixtures, while Jen ran the electrical lines from the basement to the laundry room and into the attic for powering the new fixture. This is the third or fourth time in the past couple of years we have used Alpine Electric. We have always been satisfied with their service, quality and price. We will continue to use them in the future.- Thomas P.

ATHE NEW ENGLAND HOUSE DOCTORI flew in from out of town to coordinate much needed repairs for a family member. I was lucky enough to find Roland by using Angie's List. He began the next day and completed an amazing number of tasks in a short period of time. The fact that these repairs were all done with a famiy of five living there, makes it even more incredible how much was accomplished. I would recommend him to anyone and would not hesitate to call him again.- Barbara S.

ACarpentry Plus Building IncBrad had done some tiling work for us previously and let us know that he does many different kinds of work. We were very pleased with our previous experience with him and felt confident in his work. We contacted him to install a wall bracket for some exercise equipment and some lighting. As before, he responded immediately and we worked out a time. He came on time, did a great job and also consulted with me about some deck work I would like to have done in the future. I think he does great work, is trustworthy and is quite reasonably priced. I highly recommend him.- Marybeth A.

AMULLANEY HOME REPAIR LTDCouldn't ask for better. Very professional - on time and listened carefully to what we needed (which isn't always what we want). The work was done carefully and we love the results. We had asked if he could weatherproof some windows. He could have gone through the motions, shoved some things in there and charged us. Instead, he said he couldn't do it, and suggested other vendors/options that might handle the problem. My only regret is that I didn't submit this review sooner.- VIRGINIA M.

AAlpine Electric CorpMy second experience with this company surpasses the first! The first was to install a brass and crystal chandelier. The installation was quick and accurate. The electrician wanted to insure the unit would never fall from the ceiling (it's a heavy unit), so he had to leave for a bit to get parts. When he returned, it didn't take long and it was installed and shining brightly in our dining room. He cleaned up the mess as if he were never there. I was able to pay on the spot! He then, went out of his way to walk through my home to briefly look at other projects I planned to do. He gave me his opinion on two of the projects, which I was favorable to and as soon as he left, I called Alpine again to schedule another appointment - making sure the same electrician was available. He was. The second job was more costly, but due to the price of the outlets (4 outdoor total). He showed me 2 outlets before he installed them. After installing them, I asked if he could replace two others. So he left momentarily and came back two more that matched the others he installed. The work was satisfactory AGAIN! The product was the reason the price was so high. He was quick to install. He even asked me if I wanted to suck the bugs from an outlet he was replacing so they wouldn't land on my clean floor. I have more installations to do in the next month or so. I will be calling Alpine Electric! Of course, I'll ask for the same electrician, but if he's not available, I'm confident my experience will be satisfactory.- Linda P.

AJaquish ElectricI had left a message and Oscar had called back first thing the next morning and said Jeff could be there by nine. Jeff showed up on time and very personable and professional. He wasn't able to do the recessed light because I purchase the wrong kind. He took the time to explain and even wrote down exactly what was needed. He finished hanging a chandelier and cleaned up after the job was done. I will be calling again when we are ready to do the recessed light. Very nice dependable people. Would highly recommend!- JEAN S.

AHad a lot of work done. I needed ceiling lights, connected to wall switches, put in for 4 second floor bedrooms, which had no existing light fixtures. Ed cut holes in the ceiling and installed 4 electrical boxes (fasten 3 studs and one brace). Then he went up into the attic, ran wire to the wall switch, and put in new double switches. He then installed 3 ceiling lights and one ceiling fan. Next he went back up into the attic and ran new wire into 5 closets, and installed lights in them. Those lights were connected to the double switches he had installed before. Ed then replaced an older ceiling light with a new one. Finally, he replaced a couple of older breakers with new ones and put in some blanks too. Ed charges a Flat Rate for the work, so if it takes longer, it does not cost more. He is very profession, shows up on time, and works hard for the entire time he is there. I plan on having him come back in the future to do some more work that needs to be done.
