  Leelanau Lawn and Irrigation

  Contacted last summer (2018) to inquire if they could possible run a system off our artesian well. No plan submitted but asked for 50% down during winter to reserve place in summer 2019. Finally came after many calls and laid lines. System did not work as hoped. Left on their vacation and have not returned as promised or contacted us. Broke custom stepping stones during installation. Left ground bumpy. Installed control panel at knee height when could have been eye level. Caused back flush into our water supply into our cottage that threatened our main supply. Left unsightly 12' of exposed pipe in a perennial garden? Left with out a function system or resolution.

  Tyge built my house in the 90's. They did not put proper concrete cap on chimney---just slopped on mortar, and now chimney is falling apart (bricks coming off and cracking) from water damage through cracked mortar. This would not have happened if proper concrete cap, or metal cap was used. Just found this out after structural engineer examined chimney.

  THEY REMOVED A HUGE TREE EFFICIENTLY, WERE PROFESIONAL, AND CLEANED UP BEFORE LEAVING. ALSO POLITE AND ACCOMMODATING. WHAT MORE COULD YOU ASK FOR. I HAVE USED THEM ONCE BEFORE AND WAS PLEASED WITH THEIR SERVICE AND PRICE THEN, SO I USED THEM AGAIN THIS SECOND TIME.

  Gallagher's Carpet and Flooring

  This place is unethical and overpriced, stay away. I called on Friday to get a range of pricing for laminate flooring. I received a range from 1.99 to 4 per square foot. I went into the store on Monday to look at options. A man named Tim came over and when I told him I called on Friday and was there to look at laminate, he told me in a very brusque and rude manner that the cheapest option was starting at 3.50 per square foot. I left, confused and flustered. I was concerned that it was either racism and/or sexism as a brown woman, so I called two days later and asked for the laminate quote once more. I spoke with Tim again (but on the phone this time), who told me the range was from 1.99 to 4 per square foot. Clearly something despicable, unethical and downright nasty is taking place within the store if they will treat people that way. I recommend avoiding this place at all cost. It���s also much more expensive than their competitors around the corner, Lumber Liquidators, who have wonderful options at .99 per square foot with a great warranty. They are also very helpful, kind and provide great service. They will work with you for as long as you need through several options so you get exactly what you want. Don���t give a horrible company like this one your business.

  Wayne and his crew did a great job. I had multiple quotes from various companies. I had him come out a second time to firm up the bid and clarify my expectations. He did the anticipated repairs and upgrades to improve roof drainage in problem areas. I needed to replace some damaged fascia boards and his crew worked around my need to access areas of my home during their work. They were diligent and cleaned up every night before they left. All in all they did a great job and listened to any concerns I had during the project. If I need any other roofing done on auxiliary structures I plan to give him a call. The only reason I gave him a B on punctuality is the job started a few days late due to weather and holidays. He did keep me informed however on the revised start date. I could set my alarm on when they showed up every day during the project.

  ZADOK CON.

  Ruined finish, applied chemical not recommended, incorrect measurements, resulting in additional molding to cover mistakes and compound buffing of walls to restore original finish. Unfortunately he walked off job and we have to hire someone to come in and clean up his mistakes.

  High Impact Painting

  Matt did am excellent job painting our exterior and interior entry doors to our building. He was prompt, very knowledgeable, helpful and his fees are very reasonable. I would highly recommend him for your painting needs. He saw some other things that needed work, and by letting us know, he saved us a lot of money down the road.

  Laminate flooring damaged by joe���s helper requiring new product being purchased and installed at my cost, does not match the new floor. Joe could not install the transitions on laminate so I hired a flooring company to apply these. Joe refused to install the trim around cabinets. Joe installed the subway backsplash, refused to apply a sealant over the grout. Grout is cracking. Joe made the laminate counter tops, corners are chipped. Joe measured for counter tops and backsplash and okayed the plans for the kitchen cabinet measurements. The laminate and subway tile purchased were way more than what was needed and costly to me.

  The owner Josh called me about a minute after I requested information from Angie's List. He came out right away and gave me a quote for the work to be done. Josh was very professional and pleasant to work with. He was fair in his pricing, was able to get us scheduled within days, cleaned up the work site nicely and did a fantastic job overall! We will always call Green's Tree Experts for our tree needs in the future! Thanks Josh and crew for a job well done!!
