    Cregger Plumbing, Heating & Cooling
This is the second time I've used Cregger Plumbing to clear a blockage in my sewer line.  Both experiences were great.  Office staff is top-notch.  Techs were timely, friendly, and did a great job.  On both occasions, they quickly assessed the situation and got down to business.  Once the blockage was cleared, they even cleaned up after themselves.  Super job and I would definitely recommend them.

    Levine & Sons
He had to work in a close space. Didn't have all the parts necessary had to leave and come back. Took several hours and a lot of money. But he did fix it and it works well. My main concern was the total cost, it appears to me to be excessive.

    Nu Pipe
It went well very well.  Nu Pipe inspected the pipe, showed the blockage via live camera and then removed tree roots from our sewer line.  They cleaned up most of  the 'spatter' from the machine in the working area (not all of it though) and were very courteous and informative!

    Levine & Sons
After working with another company over a four day period for a clogged shower drain,  in which I was told not to use any of the plumbing and nothing was resolved, I contacted Levine and Sons.  The owner called me back within five minutes of my original call and came to my house himself within that same hour on a Sunday morning.  He  was prompt, extremely courteous and explained each step of the process to me.  He snaked all of the lines and then used a camera to make sure the problem was taken care of.  He left me his cell phone number for any future issues.  I will definitely use this company in the future if any other problems arise and would highly recommend Levine and Sons to others.

    Phil's Home Services
Things began with that first gurgle in the kitchen sink drain. A couple of weeks later the gurgling occurred more often, in more places and prompted a call to Phil's. We've used Phil's before and, as usual, they were prompt when they arrived on New Year's Eve day and power jetted the sewer line from the house to the street....the previous solution to the and quot;gurglingand quot; issue. The house was built in 1925 and the line is original so every couple of years this has to be done. A great job...no more roots or anything else in the line. Three hours later...gurgling again. When they were running the camera, one of the technicians noticed some swirling water at the tap and thought there might some issue with the main. On January 2nd the County came out and reported the main was fine....no obstructions. Another call to Phil's to schedule an and quot;snakingand quot; of the kitchen drain. There was an obstruction and upon further inspection in the crawlspace a discovery that some pipe remained from when the house was constructed.
The house had undergone several renovations over the years, and evidently whoever worked on the drains in the house failed to check a manual...nothing was correct in any way...size of pipe...type of connections...part was even back-pitched...it was in need of updating.
The supervisor, Dave, worked up a plan to bring the house's drains into the 21st century and allow water and anything else to leave quickly and efficiently. It wasn't inexpensive, but needed to be done. Dave, Scott, and Demetrius worked all day in a two-foot crawlspace replacing nearly everything in one way or another.
Draining, flushing...all MUCH better afterward...until the final flush-test. Toilet bowl fills up...again. Dave wheeled the cable around to the other side of the house and snaked the sewer line one more time...and that did it. With the improved draining, something, was moved from the house...down the sewer line and had clogged up or was hung up, if that's the right phrase...at the tap. Whatever was clogging things at the tap was finally dislodged and everything worked perfectly.
    A long description...but a rather complicated problem.
Everyone I dealt with at Phil's was courteous and professional. The original cost of power-jetting of the sewer line was taken off this bill. Dave snaked the sewer line one last time...at the end of a very long day...when he could have said they'd be back the next day to jet it again...at an additional cost....and that would've been perfectly reasonable and acceptable. I found Phil's Services to be fair, honest, down to earth, and genuinely concerned about my problem...they wanted to get it solved practically as much as I did. They all did a hard day's work.
Since then, everything works as it should, I'm feeling better knowing things under the floor are correct. Phil's number is on the and quot;fridge and I would not hesitate to call them again.

    A-fordable Plumbing & Mechanical
They were great and I would highly recommend. Make sure to ask for Ed, since he is very knowledgable and his quote was spot on. He came out to perform the free estimate. Also, make sure to print off your $25 coupon. Please read other review for more detail.

A good lesson about using a quality company, after getting bad advice from a previous plumbing company. B* - a little known plumbing company but a favorite recommendation of neighbors in this area, came out to open the sewer line to the street. Previous indoor work went OK with them. But this time the plug was out to the street. I was told I needed a new pipe under the lawn, since there was no way he could use the larger, original indoor cleanout, under the toilets. He quoted $1,700 after putting on a show, using a small cutter in a smaller opening by the basement sink, across the floor from the main cleanout. Suspecting the worst from this company, the next day I call A-Fordable, based on Angie's recommendations. It was a Saturday, so the price was higher than normal, but not too bad. The plumber came out, immediately knew to use the regular cleanout with a bigger cutter. He found a large root plugging the outdoor pipe. He was able to completely clear the root from the pipe. Now it is 1 month later and everything still works fine. I hope my experience helps. Don't let someone pressure you into an expensive plumbing repair when the outside pipe gets plugged. Try another service first, with many good recommendations, for at least another opinion..
