    JD Holm & Sons
Very, very well. We are beyond happy, pleased and satisfied! It was a great pleasure working with Jay and his great crew. They were all very professional and the cleanup they did at the end of each day made living through this process a breeze. We will be using JD Holm and Sons again.

This review is part 2...part 1 was completed 5/13/2015 so you can read that review of his previous work on this job. Joe came back out after I finished the floor, ceiling, drywall and electrical in a basement bathroom which took me nearly a year.  Joe never complained about the time between part 1 and part 2.  He did a beautiful job of installing all the fixtures in the bathroom.  Once again he also provided me a handy tip that I would not have thought of for installing the side splashes around the sink.  I couldn't be more pleased with his work and highly recommend his services.  Overall this last part (installing the fixtures) took him approx 3-4 hours.  He went the extra mile and even volunteered to take the packaging for the vanity top and toilet with him which was so nice.  I listed the price as zero since I listed the total price on the last review of 6000.

    Advanced Plumbing
Both times Ron and his assistant were very efficient. Ron is very knowledgeable and worked quickly and confidently. He explained what he was finding and what he needed to do about it. I will be using Advanced again for an update of our kitchen. We highly recommend Advanced Plumbing.

Day 1 he busted up the concrete and dug down to bury the new drain pipes.  He also provided and installed the 41 gallon basin/pump.  He then filled in the affected areas with new concrete.  On top of all this he hauled away the excess dirt/busted up concrete pieces and swept up the debris.
Day 2 Joe came back and set the tub and surround.  He also piped the vent as well as the sewage pump and connected it to the existing waste line.  Finally he prepped for running the water lines.
Day 3 Joe connected the shower valve and faucet (which could not be done the previous day due to missing parts from the box that I provided).  He then ran the new water lines to the shower, vanity, toilet and utility sink (which I asked for on a
shared wall).  Finally he tested the system and clean up so you could never tell he was even there.
Joe has to come back when I finish the floor, ceiling, drywall and electrical in the bathroom so he can put the fixtures in  (toilet, vanity/sink and shower head).  I especially like that Joe was fine working with me, a DIY homeowner who is finishing his own basement while working a full time job.  He was not deterred that I won?t get the above tasks done for a few months, he gets it and said just to let him know when I do get to that point and he will come out and finish up his work.  Something else that stood out to me is despite doing a lot of research on what he would need from me when setting the tub and surround I missed two studs for nailing the end of the tub surround too.  Joe installed those himself without even mentioning that I missed them.  He would have been justified to say that I needed to get those installed before he could continue but instead he fixed it himself to keep everything moving along.  Finally on the last day he told me how he would drywall around the surround (in a way that I had not thought of), this will save me a lot of hassle was another example of how Joe cares about the project as a whole and not just his portion of the job.
Joe has exceptional people skills and is very respectful of both you and your house.  His quality of work is top notch and he does not mind explaining things to someone like me that is eager to learn what, how or why he does things as he does.

    Ayers Basement Systems
Initial visit for estimate went well. Steve was punctual and actually crawled back into the space, looked around and took pictures. Spent over two hours at the house discussing different options. Plus Ayers had sent a booklet on crawl space work about a week prior to the appointment which was excellent and very informative. Gave me a chance to intelligently discuss the job.
Actual day of the work I was a bit surprised at the two young guys that showed up. However, they were very productive, professional in their approach to work and answered any and all questions I had. Cleaned up after the job and did all that was required. We actually spent time going over the work they were to perform so we were all on the same page.
Overall, excellent work and I would recommend them for work and pricing to anyone.

    The Primary Plumber LLC
John was friendly and professional on the phone. He was prompt in returning my calls and made himself available at my convenience. He showed no frustration when the appliance delivery was delayed and we had to reschedule. At the time of service, John was quite friendly and accommodating. While he worked, he answered questions for me about other plumbing issues in the house. After moving here from the Twin Cities, I found his fee to be very reasonable. I will definitely call him in the future for plumbing/appliance installs.

    Quality Plumbing Co
We had received a home warranty when we purchased our home a month ago. So when the kitchen sink started backing up, we had to call the warranty company. The referred our call to quality. They did a good job. They squeezed us in to get the problem fixed that day. He was on time and very knowledgeable. He offered his opinion on how to keep this problem from happening again, and removed the clog. I would for sure call them again if I had any other plumbing needs.

    Jim Gardner
We have always been pleased with Jim's work. He has been our "go to" guy since we were introduced to him in the spring of 2010.

He has been reliable, coming to do the work when he said he would come or calling ahead to let us know of a delay.

His pricing is fair, and often lower than we might have anticipated.

His work is of high quality and he pays careful attention to details.

When the work of one of his subcontractors was less than acceptable, Jim paid for another subcontractor to come and redo the work to his and our satisfaction.

In addition, he is an honest and trustworthy man and is very careful to respect our property and to behave with propriety.

Jim was highly recommended to us by a friend.  We are glad for his services and will use him in the future.
We highly recommend Jim as a handyman.

    Integrity Plumbing
We found moisture in a basement wall and noticed it was coming from a slow leak running down a pipe coming from upstairs in our kitchen. After snooping around, we found the source was a rusty connection for a water filter that was no longer used. We called Steve at Integrity Plumbing the next day. We left a message and he returned the call within five minutes! Twenty minutes later, he was in our home and making repairs. After making an assessment of the situation, Steve explained the issue and how he intended to repair the problem. He also suggested we take the baby upstairs to her room just to be sure she didn't get breath in any of the dust/smoke from his soldering. The repairs took no longer than 30 minutes. He checked for any other leaks, turned back on the water, and asked us to call if we found any other issues. We were completely satisfied.

Mid State Plumbing & Contracting LLC
On each occasion, owner Jim showed up promptly, got right to work, and fixed the problem(s). The pipe that had prompted the first call had mysteriously stopped leaking on its own before he got here, but he still got out a ladder and climbed up to have a look (it's still not leaking--go figure!). He ran to the store for a part to fix the toilet and came right back and got the job done. The temperature control on the shower was part of a high flow system and I had called the manufacturer to troubleshoot the problem before involving a plumber. I called this problem in late one evening and got a call back from Ella (Jim's wife and dispatcher) at 7:30am! I was able to tell Ella the part number, so Jim showed up shortly after Ella's call, with the part, fixed it, and was quickly on his way. Today--a Friday--I called about a gas leak. The gas company had turned off the gas and I was facing a weekend without hot water or cooking gas. Jim was on the road before Ella had even given him the address; he arrived with alacrity, fixed the leak in about two minutes, and was on his way. Jim and Ella are a good solid team of folks who do what they say when they say they're going to do it. They are pleasant and no nonsense.
