Preface: I am a Software Engineer myself, and was looking to hire an individual rather than do the work myself as a time-saver (figuring I would pay the cost of labor to not have to spend my personal time doing the work). My experiences below are based on my own industry experience and knowledge of pricing regarding materials/cost of labor on these types of services. All prices listed below are taken from Monoprice on 4/1/2016, which is a reputable dealer of the types of materials required for this project.
Roman came out to quote installing Ethernet wiring throughout my home. He was prompt and professional in this regard, and flexible with scheduling a day that would work for me. He visited my home on a Friday, and said that he would produce a quote early in the following week. However, he did not deliver the quote until the following Friday (7 days later).
When I received the quote, I reviewed it and found many suspect things in the quote. The first of which was the inaccurate pricing of "Materials" for the job of installing Ethernet wiring. I was quoted 1374 dollars for 14 runs of Ethernet wiring, wall plates, and keystone jacks for a 1107 sq ft residential property, with a full unfinished basement where all the wires would be routed to a central location. This amount does not include the cost of labor, which was quoted at 1100.
To illustrate this, I will provide a rough estimate based on estimating 300 feet of cable per run (an extremely generous number for a 1107 square foot home), and the cost of all materials and equipment.
    4 x Bulk Cat6 1000ft: 105.18 x 4 = 420.72
    1 x 100 Count Cat6 Plugs: 7.98 x 1 = 7.98
    14 x Cat6 Punch Down Keystone Jack: 1.35 x 14 = 18.9
    14 x Wall Plate for Keystone (1 Hole, White): 0.36 x 14 = 5.04
    1 x 24 Port Gigabit Switch: 114.66 x 1 = 114.66
    1 x 24 Port Cat6 Patch Panel: 20.42 x 1 = 20.42
    1 x 13U Open Frame Rack Stand: 63.43 x 1 = 63.43
This matches with what I had requested for the project when Roman originally came to quote it, and roughly aligns in equipment with what the quote showed equipment-wise. The key takeaway here is that as a direct consumer, I can purchase all of the materials required for this project for 651.15 at the time of writing. His quoted materials are more than double what I can purchase as an individual.
When I asked him to clarify why these prices were so high, he stated that he does not price materials based on actual cost, but rather a "flat fee with mark up". When I stated that I would consider this over charging if he is also charging for labor separately (which he is), he responded saying that he does not believe this to be over charging despite the overwhelming evidence saying it is.
Furthermore, rather than provide an hourly estimate (at his rate of 85/hr), he estimated everything based on flat fees for labor. Given the amount of work requested should be no more than 8 hours of work total, likely far less, at 85/hr, this would put his cost of labor billed hourly at a maximum of 680. However, his flat fees would equate to roughly 13 hours of work. I find this to be disingenuous and deceptive: He is not offering the option that is better for his customers, but rather in his own interest.
I would not recommend Roman to anyone seeking services to perform this kind of work due to this.

I don't like that they changed their contract policy, and all of the providers do the same thing. I've never had a dropped call, service is always good at the store, and we've had excellent luck with them.

Alvin and his co-worker were awesome! As soon as they walked in, he asked if we preferred him to keep his shoes on or take them off. I was very appreciative of that considering I've had other service people come in and just walk through my house tracking all the dirt from outside.
They installed our Honeywell WiFi-Thermostat for us very efficiently in an hour. They made sure to have it all set-up for us before they left.
After a few hours, I was noticing that the house wasn't warming up to the set temperature and it was saying that it wasn't on the thermostat. We called Alvin back to see if he had any suggestions. He told us he would call us back as soon as he got off a job he was on.
He called us back less than half an hour later and told us that he was coming back, it was going to be a 45-minute drive back to us! He said, "it's going to be cold tonight and we don't want you guys to freeze."
He came and they went right to work. In half an hour, they were able to fix whatever needed to be done. They explained what went wrong and didn't charge us for the extra work. They left maybe around 8pm.
We appreciated everything that they did for us and explained everything to us as well. The wiring on the thermostat manual was different from the set-up we have, so something got mixed up, but they fixed it in no time. We appreciated that they cared enough to come back same day and figure out what went wrong.
We highly recommend Alvin and his team for electrical and wiring projects!

Don't be put off by the organized insanity in the shop.
If you are looking to repair or purchase refurbished computer equipment, I heartily recommend Startec.  In the last year, I have purchased a high end Dell Workstation, 25" monitors and a laptop.  A colleague bought a high end HP workstation.  All of the gear is cleaned up, checked out, and has worked great.
The core of the business, for me, is the easy availability of good, clean, business grade computer equipment that has been procured from the off-lease market.  For my money, these systems may not have the gee-whiz coolest processors and video cards, but: 1) they work.  2) You can get parts for them.  3) they typically out last the "consumer" equipment that you buy at the same time.
The proprietor and staff know their stuff and will help you make a decision or guide you to solutions that you may not have thought of.

We had several meetings first discussing the initial design and then working together to make sure the site would function as needed.   Sam was instrumental in pointing out what needed to be done in order to ensure the sites long term viability.  Instead of taking shortcuts she recommended the best technology that would last over the next several years.  She has recently relocated into new offices and has just hired another designer.  During the past few months she has been very busy in getting her business setup for the future.  In one of our meetings she mentioned that she had been taking more time than she would like in finding a designer to work with, but  that she is "Very Picky".  We have another web site which we need to have upgraded and her new designer has experience using the technology which we will need, so I am glad that Sam is "Picky".  I would recommend working with Web & Moore to others and look forward to a long term relationship.

    They were very nice.
However, my price has gone up almost $40 in about a year and a half. If you call and ask for a discount, they will not longer give you one. They used to be interested in keeping customers; not any more. If you want to disconnect, they simply do not care. Their attitude is "go ahead, we can't stop you. That is the basic response I've received from several supervisors.  They would rather get a new customer at a price that is approximately $30 lower than give any sort of discount to a customer who has been with them for a long time.
Very sad. I have been very happy with them until this point, but will have to leave, due to the their pricing.

Everything went great. Joe is a pleasure to work with. He
built our last website in less than 1 week!
He will not waste your time telling you what you want to hear rather he will tell
you what you need to do to maximize your website results and land on google's
first page. He has a true passion for what he does; it is apparent in his
verbal and documented communications as well as in his work and not to mention
those early morning, late night e-mails he will send with his latest, exciting
idea. He is a people person and has excellent communication skills. He
will explain the project status along the way and he will explain it in such a
way that even the most non technical person will understand! For all of
these reasons and more, I will continue to partner with Joe for any of my
project needs and give him my referral to my wide network of clients!

Delivery went well except the men didn't take off the cellophane wrap on the door, and interior  of the fridge.   It was a problem for me to removed it!   They were supposed to do that before they left.   I do not remember the exact date of delivery!

We had a very hard time communicating with all we talked to.  The TV seem to go ok., the internet was ok at first, now am having problems,  As for the phone, they could not transfer our phone number from the previous provider . After two weeks of not being able to receive calls, the said it would happen, but it would take another 10 days ,. That was NOT acceptable, so we had the previous provider continue the phone service.
