    First visit -- company did not bring the connector required to fix the line. 2nd visit -- the work was completed. After the 2nd visit the ice maker did not work (it had prior to the work being done). Upon calling, the company suggested that it may be a bad water valve or ice maker. I declined having an additional inspection done to determine the problem by the company. I later determined that a 2nd water line leading from the water valve to the ice maker had been damaged during the initial work. I ordered the part and installed myself.

    The only thing I don't like is a lot of time they will send people out, they are collecting fee before they diagnosis or do anything, somethings they can't do but you still got to pay the fee for it that the part that I don't like other than that everything is okay.

    Terrible. We will never buy anything, we've always been super Sears loyalist and we've had the last five years is been one problem after the other, now we're dealing with a dish washer that is under warranty it's been like three months, first of all it's very difficult to get an appointment and you have to go through an international side [01:04] we you have the scheduling is done either Indiana or the Philippines or I think sometimes in South Carolina I should know because I talk to them all the regular and there is a disconnect so they promise certain things they setup some things but then it doesn't get delayed to the local peoples if I have an appointment sometimes between twelve and four and they are gonna call supposedly an half and hour a head of time and then they don't call and they show up and this is at a rental so we live five minutes away so you got  to call or we are not gonna go over there and they knock on the door and nobody is there and then they leave or they call at three thirty and said according to schedule we'll be there at five thirty, five thirty no it's between twelve and four I've got to go to work, so I [01:56] my whole schedule around here,

    They actually had to come out three times. They said it was a temperature module. They changed something and they had to come back out. It turned out that the door was not aligned, so it wasn't closing and stopped the fan from working. The scheduling wasn't bad, we had one bit of miscommunication where I was expecting them to come out and they said I wasn't scheduled for that day. I remember getting an e-mail for that particular one. They came out quite a few times and I think that is something they should have caught earlier and I don't think I should have been charged $400 for a motor when it turned out that the door was not closing properly and they wouldn't give me my money back. I lost a lot of food, my food spoiled. Sears contracts out to another person that was called EC something. So it wasn't Sears per se.

    I'm not really totally satisfied, he put a door sill on and my wash is still leaking and the top panel the electric panel not sure of that part of the machine, looks like some switch got broken off and he was trying to remove that part.

    I received the estimate promptly, but I have spent the past week trying to talk to the handyman to schedule the work and agree on solutions for the floor.  I would contact the main office, they would tell me that they would have the handyman call me.  For two days I never got a call.  I finally got a call after repeated calls to the office yesterday and he said he was on the road and couldn't talk details and that he would be sure to call me back in about an hour.  No call back, so I called the service this morning and cancelled.  All they could say was they were sorry and that they don't do business that way.  But, obviously they do!

    Justin called before he arrived at our home, and it was like an old friend calling saying he'd be here in 10-15 minutes.  He had such a pleasant, cheery voice.  When he arrived at our home, he was as impressive in demeanor, as his voice was over the phone--very friendly and professional. It didn't take him long to tell us the timer had failed.  He was very candid in discussing repair vs buy options.  Justin is someone whose opinion we trust.  He's friendly, professional, knowledgeable and honest.  What more can anyone ask for?  I would recommend Berkley Appliance to anyone even though we have chosen the buy option!!

    Before starting work and discovering what was jamming the garbage disposal, the technician had quoted a price of $74.  When he discovered the dime in the disposal and removed it, he said that because I was a repeat customer, he would not charge me for the repair since it had taken him such a sort time to fix.
    The technician was very professional and work in the past has also been excellent.
    I will definitely use Maple Appliance Service in the future.

    Called this morning, and Paul came out soon after. Assured me the dryer was worth repairing (which I really wanted to know since it is older.). He took it apart in front of me, showed me what was wrong and clearly knew what he was doing. He was quick, knowledgeable, and in addition to his professionalism, he is the nicest person. It is nice to feel comfortable about having reputable people in your house! An honest company!
