They have a cheaper price for cherry eye surgery than anywhere else in the area so I take rescue dogs to have their eyes fixed. They charge $110 an eye. Everyone else wanted $300-500 for the same surgery. I am a rescuer so I am always looking for lower price options and that's how I found them. I got the lowest quote so I went to them. For the first surgery they did well but the second didn't go too well and it popped back over. My dog is going back next Wednesday to redo the surgery.

I had a very sick baby puppy.  The first time I took her in they examined her, took a complete history, and ran a test to rule out parvovirus. They prescribed antibiotics and gave me fluids to administer subcutaneously at home (something I'm experienced with).  The puppy seemed to improve for a few days, then crashed.  The second time I took her in they examined her again, and ran additional tests to rule out other parasites, bacteria, etc.

The puppy began to improve while we were there, and continued to improve after I got her home, but she crashed overnight.  I repeated the same steps (at home) to bring her back around and she was OK by bedtime, but again crashed overnight.  I took her in the following morning and they hospitalized her.  They put her on IV fluids, did blood tests, diagnosed the puppy with hemorragic gastroenteritis, and started her on a medication to help heal her stomach.  She began to slowly improve and, by the following day was doing better, even fighting them when they force-fed her.  However, she crashed and died later that afternoon.

The care provided by Dr. Harden was thorough and compassionate.  She kept me informed throughout of what they found (or didn't find, in the case of parasites/parvovirus), and of the progress the puppy was making.  She was as saddened by the puppy's passing as I was and wanted to know, as I did, what had caused it so she asked for permission to perform a necropsy.  Unfortunately, that didn't provide any definitive answers either.

I believe the care provided by T&C gave my puppy the best chance of surviving, and that whatever was wrong with her wasn't something fixable. I'm grateful for their help through this, and am confident that everything that could be done to save this puppy was done.

The vet care I receive at this clinic from the regular staff vets is competent.  All staff members are courteous and compassionate.  Appointments are easy to schedule and, barring emergencies that might come in, waiting times are brief.  I will note, however, that twice I have received quotes for expensive surgical repair of wounds that healed beautifully on their own with only antibiotics so, if given an expensive quote for treatment, it's a good idea to ask if there is a less expensive/less invasive/less traumatic alternative treatment possibility.  I am also not comfortable with this clinic's recommendation for yearly vaccines, which is contrary to the American Veterinary Medical Association's guidelines of triennial vaccination after the 1-year booster.  This is an issue every pet owner should research, and make informed decisions about, for themselves.
