    Modernistic Carpet Cleaning
The love seats were from a cat owner and covered with hair. We made sure we vaccumed them well first. They came and cleaned with a water based detergent and said they got out a lot of stains on the back of the sofa. There were two guys. Because of the job and equipment one guy did most of the work and he seemed like the guy in charge. He spent quite a bit of time going over every inch of the cushions front, back, top, bottom, dust skirt. They even did the pillows that were were obviously bought to match the love seats. I think they did a great job. Would use them again.

    K&K Cleaning Contractors
Gave estimate over phone vs coming and taking a look, told it was large space and needed 2 trips due to large furniture that sould not be moved out, said "no problem, no difference in cost".  Was upset upon arrival because although address complete with zip code and phone number were provided he got lost, but did not call to confirm or ask for directions.  Complained upon arrival because basement did not have walk out and he would have to carry heavy equipment and then because he had not realized the distance to my home tacked on a $25 per trip fee (after saying "no problem" on phone"  . As I just wanted to get the job done  I agreed (haste makes waste!) He then  proceed to dump 2 inches of water onto floor and then as he did not have a water extractor or even a towel to dry it up then got upset because the floor was'nt dry enough to apply to wax!  After this he claimed it must be something wrong with the tile, put a fan on and left. The next morning i phone him to find out his plans and he proceeded to tell me that he would need to add an additional $25 charge as he thought it would take an additional day due to a non existent tile problem.  I remarked that this was getting much more expensive than the agreed upon price and he informed me that the charge is $80 per hour and that he already wasted 2 1/2 hour at my home.  At this point he began to rant, yell, and call me names while demanding $250.00.  As he had only stripped the wax off 25% of the job I said I thought $125 was fair and we should try to work out a compromise; at this point he went crazy and screamed profanities at me so I hung up.  I immediately phoned my husband who calmly called Mr. Kersjes and tried to speak to him but found him to be argumentative and not capable of speaking rationally so my husband stated he would pay the $250, please pick up the fan he left at our home and the check would be taped to the fan on our covered porch for him to pick up and hung up.
I promptly put the fan with the check taped to it and locked the doors.  This man was so threatening I was advised by a person from the local chamber of commerce to call the sheriff as well as the Better Business Bureau. But it does'nt end there!  After that I got a he called me back to lower his price to $175, continued to try and tell me why things were not his fault, and actually wanted back in my house to finish the job. at this point I felt very threatened and told him to please just take the check and his equipment as I wanted this experience to be over with.  He then asked me for a good reference ( after swearing and yelling at me only minutes earlier!). An hour later his wife called (from a different number) to apologize, make excuses for her husband, and tell me there would be no charge.  I told her I just wanted this to end, the check and fan were on the porch.  Someone finally came and picked up the fan and left the check taped to the window but although we were not charged this was a horrible experience.  I would not EVER let this man, Kris Kersjes, near my home.  I feel a bit frightened even writing this review but would not want anyone else to have this experience.

    Camelot Service Co
We weren’t here when the work was done but we moved in the next day and found that one of the carpets hadn’t been dried correctly and was a little loose. When I called them, the owner came out very quickly and re stretched the carpet at no charge.

    Camelot Service Co
We just closed on our new house in the area and wanted to get the carpets clean before the moving company arrived with our furniture. On short notice (I called on Tuesday and they came on Wednesday) Camelot sent two guys out to clean the three bedrooms, hall and steps. It was straightforward since there was no furniture in the rooms. It only took them twenty minutes and the bill was reasonable for the job. They said they would dry in 8 hours and they mostly were. (we should have opened windows or run the AC but they didn't tell us that). Also one of the carpets in the bedroom looked like it had been pulled up / stretched somewhat. I am not sure if this was there fault or not. The next morning the carpets were mostly dry and the carpet that had been pulled up somewhat looked a little better but not perfect. I called Camelot to see if cleaning could do that to a carpet and they said they would send someone out. When I told them that I was having moving guys coming in 90 minutes they said they would try to get the out ASP. Bottom line Dan they owner of the company came out (the movers had just showed up) and he stretched the carpet himself. He did a great job and it didn't slow moving down a bit. And he didn't charge me even when it might not have been their fault. I was very impressed with this service. Now I know why their reviews are so good. I will use them again. Great job Dan.

    Kelly Hill
I called Kelly to do a deep clean of the home we recently moved into. The house is very, very old and has lots of rooms to clean. Kelly wasn't intimidated at all by the task. She spent 10 hours here, meticulously working through the rooms, giving special time and attention to problem areas. Our kitchen has a very old professional gas stove/oven that was in desperate need of attention. After Kelly got through with it, it looked (almost) new. She was very professional and courteous, asking questions when necessary but was hard-working, not chatty. I would definitely have her back.

    The Cleaning Authority - Kalamazoo
3 hours late for the first visit. House looked like it was rushed through and predominantly top cleaned, many of the basics missed or half done. Since it was the first cleaning, I gave them another chance because it needed a lot of work. On the day of the next scheduled visit I received a call saying they had a problem and were not going to make it . We juggled our schedules for them to come on another day. Same poor cleaning results as the last time. Dusted blinds were nothing more than a couple swipes with a dust rag in the middle with heavy dust left on the blinds. The floors were mopped but only in the middle, the edges were not touched. The track of the sliding door was not even touched, either week. Ledges and baseboards were not touched. Rooms that were supposed to be the focus of that day's visit did not even get extra attention. No cabinet fronts, doors, base boards or ledges were wiped down. Glass in storm doors never got cleaned. In fact, that "clean smell" I was expecting to get when returning home on the cleaning day was not there. To say the least, I was disappointed....and totally ripped off. I called to cancel, expecting them to ask why but all I got was Ok, we will mail your key. I told them no, I would pick it up the next day. I went there to pick up the key and had to wait while they were on the phone, (who I could hear) handling another disgruntled customer who was also canceling. When she completed her call, she gave me my key and said she heard my whole story and was sorry I had to cancel. Unbelievable, she really did not have a clue as to why I was canceling, because no one ever asked me. They must get so many complaints that they cannot keep them straight. I did not even bother to set her straight, they already took to much of my time and money. Stay clear of this operation, they are not worth the trouble nor do they do what they say they are going to do. No value here.

    Presentation Cleaning
Outstanding right from the beginning when I initially inquired through Angie's list. Received a prompt return phone call where they asked detailed questions in order to understand what I was inquiring. We then set up a meeting to look at my home to determine what would be required, understand my expectations and learned about Lori's business philosophy and standards. We discussed what we thought it would take to to get my home in order, maintaining that level, estimated recommended time to do the job, and price. She was open and forthcoming, offered references, explained everything in detail, and provided recommended cleaning products for best results. When I returned home after the initial cleaning I was speechless and ecstatic. I have never seen the attention to detail from any other service I have had. My house absolutely sparkled. Each regular cleaning since then has brought the same outstanding quality, service, promptness, communication, and care. Everything and more than I was promised. It is a great feeling to know I am getting such value for the money I am spending with Lori and her team. WOW!!!
