    I was in the process of purchasing a house. Brian did such a great job on the electrical at previous home, so I decided to use him to inspect the house I was thinking about purchasing. The house had not been taken care of for many years so it needed many improvements and repairs. I knew I really needed someone who could give me a clear picture of everything that would need to be replaced so I would have some kind of idea how much money I would have to put into the house. He walked through it with me and pointed out the areas that needed repair that I would not have thought about. His report was easy to understand and included color pictures so I knew what he was referring to. It was well worth the money because after he did the report I came back with an offer $7000.00 less then the first. I bought the house for $12,000.00 less then the original offer. If it wasn't for his house inspection I would have stuck with my original offer. I can honestly say he is a person who seems to have a real passion for homes. His eyes lit up when he was looking at certain areas of the house. He is absolutely the person you would want to do your house inspection. He also has some pretty interesting gadgets he uses when he does his inspection.

    Hands down the absolute worst experience with a real estate agent ever. 90% of contact with her was initiated by us. On more than one occasion, paperwork was misplaced by her (items that would have included sensitive information like Social Security numbers). Upon agent finding a buyer (who had a mortgage pre-approval letter) she tried to negotiate with us that the buyer could move into the house before closing and pay "rent". Fortunately we refused to accommodate that request because the deal fell through due to lack of financing - and we would have probably had to spend quite a lot of time and money "evicting" the "buyer". AND we did not find out that the deal fell through until WE contacted the agent two days after the deadline to hear the status had come and gone. Agent also had removed the listing from the market, without our consent or knowledge, just days after the offer had been made when she should have tagged it as "pending".  We basically lost an entire prime summer selling season due to her incompetence. During the ordeal we would receive emailed paperwork from her assistant (who is also very unprofessional), with no explanation, requesting we sign and return immediately. When we would call or email with questions about it, we would get exasperated answers as if we should know already. We hired a real estate agent for a reason, because WE are NOT real estate agents and do not know all the terminology or what different papers mean. I would never recommend working with Angela Averill unless you plan on doing all the work, wasting a lot of time, and probably ending up with a deal that falls through.

    We were very pleased! The company was very flexible, friendly and accommodating. We had 2 nice gentlemen move us. They packed for us as well. They were very courteous, friendly and professional. The move went very smoothly. We would use them again in the future, no question!

    Jeff arrived early and went straight to work. He communicated clearly throughout and gave his opinion on the details of his findings. Within a day we had a summary of his findings emailed to us. Shortly thereafter we received the full report in the mail. He seemed to pay attention to detail and I feel it was money and time well spent. He checked the radon meter while doing the inspection to give us an idea where that was as the test was still running. The pest inspector he contacted for us also did a bang up job and was also friendly and easy to talk to.
    Overall I am most pleased with the to-do list that was provided by First Priority, Inc.

    Difficult to rate because the owner is professional and courteous, but the same cannot be said for his employees.  His secretary routinely calls me with an issue she has about the rental but isn't actually asking me to do anything.  I've told the owner that it was my understanding that a property manager should manage issues as they come up, instead of reporting the issues to me - that is what they are being paid for.
