  • The crew arrived at my house and immediately went to work. It was unbelievable how quickly the removals happened. The clean-up was thorough, and they even took care of a limb on another tree that was hanging over my house. I would definitely recommend and use them in the future!

  • Great service. Chris, the owner has done this for a very long time and knows a lot about trees and their health. He was prompt and the crew was polite and friendly. They did a wonderful job of cleaning up afterward as well.

  • They did a wonderful job. What a difference to my property. Jason and his crew went over and above what he quoted, as he cut back some overgrown shrubs as well. I will definitely use them in the future and would highly recommend this company.

  • During the purchase of the special on Angie's List, there was an option to select three dates that would work for us to have our lawn fertilized. I specifically chose 3 dates/times that would work best for me to be home to speak with whoever came to perform the application. There was also a section for notes where I stated that I wanted to be contacted prior to scheduling/arrival to ensure I was home. - We were never contacted by the company before or when they were on their way. - They showed up a week and a half after purchasing the special with the dates I specified. - The person that came did not knock on the door or let my fiancee know they were there. She had to approach him first to ask any questions. - The truck used was not marked. - The person did not seem very knowledgeable about the purchase or services that were to be performed but he was polite. - I cannot leave a quality rating due to not seeing results yet. - First impressions have not boded very well so at this time I am saying I would not hire again. I am open to this changing depending on the remainder my experience.

  • They come out on a regular basis without prompting, do a thorough job, offer "skip fees" to help me keep costs down, they are super friendly, and have been a delight for many years. I 💗 S&B Seasonal Services and am proud to recommend them. (The 2 previous companies I had used were real nightmares)

  • For the past 4 years, I have been using Camelot at my St Clair Shores house as well as 1 year at my cousin?s house in Shelby Township (this stopped when she passed away).  In 2012, I had a small dying red maple in my front yard and an Austrian pine in my backyard that was struggling with a disease. After reviewing all of the trees in my yard, Camelot recommended cutting down the red maple in the front yard, a series of fungicide sprays for the Austrian pine, and trimming some of the other trees. In subsequent years, Camelot has recommended various other treatments and I have deferred to Camelot's professional judgement.  This year I received a flyer from Camelot suggesting a comprehensive program and as an incentive Camelot would send me a free soil analysis.  Once again, I deferred to Camelot's  professional judgement.

As of December 2nd, I have never received the soil analysis promised last spring despite repeated calls to Camelot's office regarding the same.  At the same time, I have noted several trees and bushes that Camelot has been treating are struggling and I expect significant losses in the spring. For one, the Austrian pine that Camelot has been treating doesn?t look any different than 4 years ago as I continue to lose many needles.  In the front yard, I have many issues. The dogwood tree?s leaves started struggling in July  and by late August they all shriveled up and turned brown, it is doubtful that the tree will recover in the spring. The west half of the boxwood hedge is turning brown/orange and again I question the health of the boxwood in the spring.  Just behind the dogwood are 2 bushes (I am not sure of their name, they are both the same type) whereas the front bush closest to the dogwood lost all of its leaves several weeks before the other bush and again I expect a problem in the spring.

I know that Camelot are a worthy company and mean well yet somehow I have been lost in the volume of Camelot's business -- a good example is the soil report which I never received after several months of waiting. I have spent a couple of thousand dollars using Camelot's services and I question the validity of continuing to use Camelot's services when so many things are apparently going wrong. Honestly, what was the point of spending all of this money when the results have been dubious?   It is disappointing to me because now in addition to suffering from all of the losses due to Camelot's mishandling of my account, I must consider finding a new trees service
Even after I sent a letter to them concerning these issues, I have never received any reply from Camelot.

  • Nick and his crew came out to my mothers house and removed two large silver maples. These trees were close to the house as well as wires and fences. They took the time to make sure there was no damage to the surroundings. I was very impressed with the quality of their work. Nick took the time to answer all of my questions and address any concerns I had regarding the entire process. He came out when he said he would and finished the job in the timeframe he provided. When the job was completed, Nick and his crew did a great job cleaning up the property.

  • That was the one that I was not very happy with.  The worked that they had done in removing a tree.  They did clean up and such but not to my satisfaction.  It was very sloppy.  They were suppose to remove the stump, which I paid extra for, that was not done as they said it would.  I had to call someone else and then it cost me several hundred dollars.  They're very quick but there not very efficient and don't do what they say they're going to do.   Moderate to high price.

  • I had a dead tree that had broken off at the base and was leaning against another tree. There were wires near the tree and Tom and his crew came in, cut it down in chunks, cleaned up and were gone in an hour. Communication was excellent and the professional demeanor of the entire crew was commendable. Kudos to Tom for running a truly service-oriented business.

  • Tom came out to give me an estimate and said he would be able to come out in two weeks. We stayed in touch by email and telephone calls. He was friendly, professional and had great ideas on how to complete this project. Tom and his crew arrived on time at 8:00 am and completed the entire job by 11:00 am. It looks awesome! I will definitely use this company again.
