  • Went smoothly; no hitches; though it was a bit more costly. I have read this extra $350 is basically to ensure a smooth experience. Also they do not take a deposit until they have picked up your vehicle.

  • We have a local guy.? It's the Midas Muffler shop here in Shields.? We're in there all the time.? We have old cars.? It's a 2001 Chevy Silverado.? We also have a 2004 Grand Prix and it's got 250,000 miles on it.? They work with my husband all the time, but he loves "Midas Mike," he calls him.? He loves Mike and he loves the guys that work on the vehicles.? He goes in there just to visit, now.?He gets A over everything; every one of them, no doubt about it.? My husband goes there about every other day.? You've gotta find somebody that's honest, that's for sure. He tells you up front, hey, I can get this done and it'll get you by; if I do any more with it, then it's gonna last forever - that kinda thing.? You can get by with this, but if you had extra money we can do this and it'll last longer. He's that kind of a guy.

  • Still not done. I would never recommend Dave at Discount Transmission. I have talked to numerous people regarding my issue with him (Dave), I wish I would have checked around before taking my Jeep to this establishment. Hope i get to drive my Jeep before summer is over.

  • Dex Tech in Saginaw, MI, has good reviews on Angie's List and on Google so I called them. They were very friendly and understanding of our situation. They were able to get my son's car in after one day. They discovered that it only needed some cleaning and they were trustworthy about it and did not try to get us to replace something that wasn't broken. I am very pleased with the whole transaction and will use them again in the future if needed.

  • I am under a lease and they offered to pay out my lease. Two days later they rescinded my offer after I bought a car. So now I am stuck with $2,500 worth of payments and a new car. That is bad customer service. It is bad business, I think. I would tell everybody who reads this not to use them because they are very, very poor in that department. There is nothing you can do if you don't get it in writing. They did not have to honor it because it was not in writing. They knew they did wrong and it just was a bid situation. One thing that stands out, to sum it up in one word, is unethical.

  • The owner/manager was very friendly and was happy to answer my questions over the phone. I knew exactly what needed to be done and asked for a price quote, and he gave me a quote that was very reasonable. When I brought my car in they checked it over and confirmed what the problem was, and were very honest. They didn't try to sell me additional repairs or services that weren't necessary. The price I was quoted was what I paid. If you're looking for an honest repair center then this woudl be a place worth checking.

  • Nick did an excellent job repairing a 2010 Pontiac Vibe. I had (2) other estimates, one for $2100 and the other $1900. He originally estimated $700-800 and then did the job in a quick, professional and courteous manner for under $650. I would highly recommend this shop!

  • They are a Toyota dealership but they do auto repairs. They did the work very nicely and I have no complaints. So far I haven't had any major work done. They were very professional. They have a nice waiting area and it is clean. I felt really good about the repairs that were made. The price was reasonable because auto repairs are so expensive. There was no charge for the recall, just for the tuneup. I'm getting more mileage since the tuneup. They were very responsive.

  • It was a hand control designed to operate the brake and gas peddle for someone that can't use her legs.  The device was installed using the dash screws that were removed to install the device.  It should never been installed like that and could have caused harm to the person operating the vehicle or others that may have been in the way.  It was very unprofessional.

  • When Carl's estimate came out above Burt Watson's, we decided to take it where everything came from and get guaranteed service, closer to home.  There was no doubt that Carl's would have performed good service, but the cost caused us to go elsewhere
