    The Buyer's Inspector LLC
Patrick went above and beyond what we though an inspection should be and was more then professional about the whole deal. He pointed out major things we do not believe anyone other than Patrick would of caught knowing how he works now we will hire him for every inspection we ever get again no matter what. He spent over 5 hours dedicated and preformed work in very cold conditions outside and remained very professional.

Rob is a very detail-oriented person and it really showed on his home inspection report - he didn't miss a single detail and took so many photos for us. He arrived at our scheduled time and walked us though a complete interior and exterior inspection, climbing to the roofs, getting into the attics, and looking everywhere he was able to see. We discovered a lot of things we did not see before and we are thankful for his patience and thoroughness in explaining everything to us as he went. His reports were emailed to us within 24 hours and he has remained available for us to contact with any questions. Rob also provided us with several information booklets he made himself on getting through the home inspection process which will be incredible useful for us moving forward now and in the future. We highly recommend Rob and have passed his name along to other friends in the area.

    Davis Inspection Services LLC
Rick and Doug were a pleasure to work with. As someone
looking at buying a house for the first time, going through this inspection was
a humbling and highly educational experience. I had been looking at a house
with my folks that had obvious water damage in the basement, but also had a
nice two-car garage, a big backyard, and some decent hardwood floors. It wasn?t
a question of whether it had to be flipped?it was a question of HOW MUCH it
would have to be flipped. This house had been rented in the past which was the
    first red flag.
Well, it turned out that flipping it would cost tens of
thousands of dollars. Rick and Doug are like the Sherlock Holmes and Watson of
home inspection. I won?t go into the nitty gritty details of every finding, but
there was a lot going on?driveway sloped inward in a way conducive to water
damage, uncleaned gutters without extensions, cracked mortar joints, shoddy
windows all around, rotted wood, basement wall bowing in slightly from
sustained hydrostatic pressure, efflorescence and chronic water issues in the
basement in general, galvanized pipes, both the furnace and air conditioning
needing to be replaced, and mold, mold, some bacteria for good measure, and
MORE mold. The mold had mold. It was terrifying.
Within the first ten minutes of looking at the house on the
outside, I was 90% sure I was not going to buy it. By the time we were finished
in the basement, my dad and I were 100% positive we were gonna RUN from this
    house.
Rick and Doug are truly class acts. Not only is Rick good at
what he does, he is PASSIONATE about what he does and it shows in the quality
and straight-talking of his inspections. I will absolutely be working with him
again once I?ve done my homework and found a better house.
On a final note, I had mentioned that I work night-shift and
have a tricky schedule. When Rick wanted to call me about something to follow
up on, he kept my schedule in mind and called me around midnight. I have had a
h*** of time coordinating things over the phone with people for just about
everything I need to do?for Rick to call me at night like that, I mean, that is
    Gold Standard, A+ Customer Service.
    Call Rick.

    BDS Environmental
Excellent service.  BDS had an estimator come out ahead of time and explained my options were to remove asbestos around a section of ductwork, or to remove the ductwork entirely (only a 4ft span) and gave an initial estimate between $300 and $600.  I chose complete removal and moved forward.  As they went to schedule the asbestos removal they were able to offer a rate of $300, as they had concurrent jobs in the same area.  The person removing the asbestos securely plastic wrapped out the area checked for asbestos, completed his removal and cleaned up the area.  He was very professional, kind, and thorough through the whole process and didn't mind me asking questions as he went.  After he completed the removal BDS had a supervisor come out and check the work to ensure it was done correctly and to ask if I had any questions or concern.  They were great the whole way through and I will definitely go to them again if I have any issues in the future.

    On-Site Specialty Cleaning & Restoration
Unfortunately this is the 3rd time in 2 years (different houses, different issues) that I have had to use On site. This time it was to test and remove mold in my basement but I have also used them to remove water and dry the room out.
Everyone I spoke with warned me that mold remediation companies would use scare tactics to oversell services and charge extremely high rates. Not at all the case with On site. Each time I have worked with Jason who is both knowledgeable and professional.
Jason reassured me that I had a manageable concern, worked with me every step of the way and made me feel confident that the issue had been resolved without going "overboard". I appreciated his continuous follow-up and the entire team's commitment to quality.

I have referred others to On site in the past and they have all been very satisfied with their work and pricing.

    Restoration & Environmental Safety Technologies
Greg was amazing...  After a contractor dusted up my house during a kitchen demolition...Greg came and gave me all the information I needed to make an informed decision.  He did testing on the spot to ensure my home was safe to live in and gave me direction on how to handle the clean-up (and how to handle future projects).  He even gave me the name of a general contractor...who came over Memorial Day weekend (and on Memorial day) to finish the job and keep my project on track.

Greg was very quick to respond. He came out the same day we contacted the company and provided us with an estimate the next day.  He was very informative and thorough. The whole team at REST was very professional.  Although he was a stranger to me I felt safe with him and his team in my house. I totally recommend REST! Thanks for a great job, done right!

    Complete Service Restoration
Ron and Dan from CSR came out shortly after we came home from vacation to a basement of sewer.  They moved quickly and brought a team the next day out to mitigate the damage and do the clean up.  It took almost a week, but at the end the basement was cleaned and our stuff moved into a portable storage unit.  They worked with the insurance company on the mitigation work and it went smoothly.
We also hired them to do our restoration work (put the basement back together).  This work went smoothly and the basement turned out great.  Team was professional and worked diligently.  One issue that arose is that there was confusion created while working with the insurance adjuster and Ron.  He could have done a better job at working with the insurance adjuster.  My advice is to be in contact with your insurance adjuster frequently and make sure your contractor is working with them on what the costs will be.
I would highly recommend CSR for mitigation work.  There is no doubt they are one of the most thorough and professional group around.  The restoration is good, but know that it's treated differently from an insurance stand point (insurance pays you and then you pay the contractor or yourself if you do the work).

    DryMedic Restoration Services of Novi
Vincent was our contact and was the first company to get back with us after the massive flooding on August 11th. He was extremely responsive and got to work right away, working with us to give us a heads up since we had to stay in a hotel with three young kids. His crew did a great job, we're very friendly, and made sure that we were 100% satisfied at every step. I can't recommend them enough.
