    Tamaroff Automotive Group
I am going to. I got to call this week, and get over there. They got the genuine Honda parts. They do the work all the time. They know what they are doing, and they know the repairs. The work takes forty five minutes. They have an waiting room, its a bit spartan compared to an GM dealership, but its adequate. They offer coffee.

    13 & Crooks Auto Repair
The estimate was free and since I went there on a Monday afternoon I was able to get the work done while I waited. It took about an hour. The gas station-store-waiting area in front was very clean and fully stocked with large chocolate bars and beverages. Total was $225.13.

I had a puddle of oil under may car after starting and knew I needed service right away. My normal mechanic was much further away (about 50 miles) and I knew I needed to get it to some place much closer with the oil leak problem. They were able to look at my car right away. They quickly determined it needed an oil pressure sending unit and had me in and out the door in less than an hour. Everyone was professional and friendly. I really appreciated their help. I will be returning for future service.

    DAVE'S GARAGE
After a visit to a different repair shop (for a faulty brake line), I was told that all upper and lower ball joints needed replacement at a cost of $1200. As loose ball joints present a safety issue and the vehicle was 240 miles away from my usual shop, I made an appointment at Dave's for a second opinion. When I arrived, I was struck by how nice the waiting area was. I was greeted by friendly smiles (all three men behind the counter). In my direct interaction, Jamie and Craig were both courteous, professional, and did a great job listening to my concerns. They inspected the vehicle, took it on a test drive, and assured me that the ball joints were fine. For $47.42 they gave me peace of mind for the return trip home. This is my new place for any repairs/maintenance while we're in Traverse City for the summer months. Next to skill, honesty and integrity mean everything when looking at repair shops.

I'm so glad I chose to have my car repaired here. Dave is so nice! I was given a couple estimates on cost of repair, and it was much less here. Not to mention, the repair was done quickly. My car is running like it did when it was new. I really got the impression that honest work is done here, and I plan to come back if work needs to be done in the future.

everything went fine.  the customer service is excellent, and they seem like they're on the up and up with regards to the assessments they perform, the information they provide afterwards, and their price.

Talked to the guys before we brought the vehicle in - they knew what they were talking about and didn't try and baffle us with...you know what. When we called to check on the vehicle - they gave us assurance that all was good and they did not charge us a penny for their evaluation. Many places would charge at least fifty bucks to take a look at it. We appreciate their honesty knowledge and great customer service. We would recommend highly and we have found our transmission/rear end repair shop for any future needs.

    SOMERSET PONTIAC-GMC INC
I always see my car dealership for my car because I have 3 years of free oil change and rotating tires. They have done really good work for me. When I took my mom's aged old mobile which is a 2002 model, they have been servicing it for oil changes and various things like tires. She needed newer shocks so I took it back to Somerset Buick GMC. They have her on file and they took care of the heated seat when it went bad. They took care of the front bumper that got ripped off in snow. I have been there several times and I keep going back for her car. It took them a while to do it, to diagnose so it stayed in longer than I expected. They kind of made excuses and things like that but they got the job done. I find them fine for the price. I want to use genuine parts and I am willing to pay a little bit extra and so is my mom. I don't want to buy off brand brakes or shocks or anything like that. As long as my mom's car is still hanging in there, I will be bringing it back to them and they seem to have a hand on getting old mobile parts for non existing car companies.
