I chatted with the representative and they recommended an oven light switch replacement that cost about $36. I ordered the part, installed the part and it didn't fix the problem. I contacted them, they recommended replacing the door lock without getting all the information. I kept asking questions and then they recommended I purchase another $140 in parts (strangely - a clock/timer that is supposed to fix the oven light?). They won't take back the oven light switch because I had installed it. I don't know how anyone would know if it worked or not without installing it. They didn't mention the return policy when I ordered it. Very disappointing.

It went well. I decided to purchase a new dryer this time due to the age of the old one but I have used them for service, parts and free repair advice for over 20 years. I would recommend them to anyone.

    Budget Appliance Repair
I called Budget Appliance to repair my 3 year old Samsung refrigerator. I had to leave voice mail (Of the more than 15 phone calls made to Budget Appliance over a 3 week period I never reached a person), always got voice mail never a real person and only 3 or 4 of the voice mail messages were ever returned, but they responded to text messages much better) A day after I first left voice mail about my refrigerator they returned my call and told me they were very busy and could not come out until the next day. The following day a repair man came to my house and within 2 or 3 minutes (without ever hooking up a meter or any test equiptment) told me the main circuit board in my fridge was shot and with service calls and parts it would be $421 to fix. I was kinda shocked the fridge is only 3 years old and only cost About $1000 new, but I'm in the middle of major renovations to the house trying to get it ready to rent out so I said ok go ahead and order the part. I was told it would take about 10 days to get the part. Approx 10 days later they called me and set up an appointment to install the part. The day the repair man arrived to install the circuit board was a particularly hectic day I had 2 heating and cooling men there installing a wall heater in the family room I had a painter there (a friend) and I had a carpenter there working, and when he arrived I was on the phone taking care of other problems with the renovation. The repair man was only there a few minutes and I was still on the phone so rather than hold him up I ask my painter friend to give him the check for the service call and he was on his way. About an hour or two later I went to look at the fridge and to my suprise he never bothered to put the shelves or drawers back in the fridge and in the 10 days while waiting for the part to arrive a large block of ice had reformed. So I paid $421 and he never put the fridge back together and it didn't work properly because there was a large block of ice in the ducts that allowed the cool air to enter the fridge so it still didn't work. In the next 2 or 3 days I called Budget Appliance about 5 or 6 times never got to speak to a person. I left voice mail each time. The voice mail was never returned. I finally sent a text message (which was finally returned a couple of hours later) They gave me an appointment for two days later between 2 and 3 PM. The day of the appointment rolls around and no one from Budget appliance arrives and no call or text explaining the missed appointment. I tried to call them but only voice mail. I leave a voice message but no response. I go back to sending a text message and they finally respond. They act like nothing is wrong and tell me the repairman had trouble with his truck and they give me an appointment for 2 days later between 4 and 5 PM. The repairman arrives and immediately has an attitude. He says "what is wrong with my work" I explain that he never bothered putting the fridge back together and that there was still a large ice block in the fridge not allowing it to get cool. "Oh he say, I was an honest mistake"  "I'll fix it." I go in the other room while he works. He informs me he is "done". I said "If you don't mind I'm going to check first before you leave" I go to the the fridge and the shelves are not in properly  I showed this to him and said this isn't right. He gets more of an attitude and and tell me to go in the other room while he fixes it. Again he tells me he's "done" and I look and one of the shelves is in backward and doesn't lay flat and it rocks up and down and the door won't close all the way. I go into the other room while he "fixes it". For the 3rd time he tells me he's "done" I go the the fridge and you can see that the door still isn't closed all the way. I tell him that the door isn't closed and he gets right in my face (about 6 inches away from my face) and says loudly "that door is closed". By this time I am furious and I said to him "I don't give a sh$t who you are that door isn't closed." He scream "I don't have to take this" grabs his tools and leaves without ever finishing the job. It took me a few minutes of repositioning the shelves and the door finally closed.

It went very well. They were on time. They did excellent work, didn't waste anytime, and answered my questions. They looked at my bad switch while they were there even though they came for the circuit breaker.

I called Richard and left a message leaving my Name, Phone, and Issue.
He called back asked for the model # and serial #. I explained briefly what was going on and he gave me an appointment time.
Upon arrival he intrduced himself. He was driving a small blue work truck. Which had his company info on it. I showed him the washer and he quickly had it in pieces. He did not even charge extra because there was water in it like some other companies do! He checked a few things and then disconected the motor and hooked up a new one. It worked! He told me a price and asked if I wanted him to repair it. I said sure thing. And a few minutes later he had the machine back together and water draining out. I did call a few other repair shops some were about the same price and one was signifigantly higher. No one could come out the same day!
This was a great experience! Saved us from buying a new washer. And how could I beat the timetable?

Richard seemed like an honest guy who likes to just get to the problem. I will call him again if I ever have the need!
Be ready and have the are aready to be worked on. And leave him alone while he is working. He is not one to doddle around as he just wants to get it fixed. Let him do his job and he will have it done in a jiffy!

They were prompt when coming out to the house and he was professional. The cost to repair the stove was close to purchasing a new stove so I didn't have the work done.
