Lake Orion Plumbing, Heating & Cooling
I very much appreciated Nathaniel's expert advise and honesty and professionalism. Ends up our washer is in need of about $400 - $500 in repairs and instead of trying to get us to go for that, he recommended we just buy a new one for less than $500 (he recommended one that he just bought for his home). I'm pretty sure that most appliance repairmen would try to sell the expensive repair, but after he clearly explained the situation, I'm certain he's correct. I will use this company for future work (they don't sell appliances, btw, so they aren't making any money when we buy a new one). If their company culture is the kind of honesty, professionalism and trustworthiness that Nathaniel exhibited, I'm confident they'll do a great job for any of our future plumbing, heating, cooling or repair needs.

    Michigan Appliance Repair
We hired them to fix our dishwasher. The guy said he'd order the part and come back in a week to fix it. The next morning (within 24 hours) we called to cancel the appointment but they still charged us half the cost of the service ($212) without providing any service. We called back several times, each time they said a manager would call back. The manager never called.

    Maple Appliance Co
Called Maple Appliance this morning after we discovered that our dryer wasn't working. They sent a tech out (Jay) by 4:00pm. Jay diagnosed the problem quickly and fortunate for me he had the part in his truck. The whole appointment lasted about 30 minutes and we were up and running again. Will definitely use them again for all of my appliance repairs.

    The Appliance Doctor
I am so happy that I found Appliance Doctor on Angie's List! Mark did a great job diagnosing and fixing a problem with our dryer. He is extremely knowledgable and professional. The price was very reasonable. My experience with Appliance Doctor was very positive from start to finish. This will definitely be my go-to for appliance repair in the future.

The guy told us, most of which, we already knew about. He barely touched the washer and pointed out that our drain hose was probably not positioned properly and was draining bad water back into the washer. All of this was done in under 10min. for the cost of $89 or thereabouts (that we had already agreed to pay for a visit). We also tried adjusting position of the drain hose later and it made NO difference. Where the customer service hit its lowest level is when we asked the guy if he could take a quick look at the dryer for the same stink issue - he would not even TOUCH the equipment unless we were ready to pay another $89 (two equipment). It's not like we were asking him to fix something! All in all, $89 down in 15min. and the problem still exists!

    The Appliance Doctor
Freezer was cooling but not the refrigerator. He guessed that it could be one of two things, chose the least expensive repair option, and it worked. He was clean, spent about an hour cleaning the freezer from frost build up and its still working( two weeks ago-fingers crossed) Would hire him anytime.

    The Appliance Doctor
We are very pleased with the responsiveness from Mark of The Appliance Doctor. He was prompt, professional and thoroughly checked not only for the initial problem but for any other area affected by the problem he was called to fix. His prices are reasonable and he does listen and asks the right questions to fix the problem not just treat the symptoms. When we need appliance repair again we will happily call him.

Mark and Lee came to the house right on time. Mark was extremely knowledgeable and professional. I ask a million questions, and he patiently answered them all. The first service call costed around $80. During this call, Mark tested everything and found the motor was the problem. They ordered it in the spot, and came back and fixed it. Now, my 10-year-old washer is working like new:) I could not have had a better experience, and I highly recommend letting Mark check out any appliance before tossing it and getting another.

    The Appliance Doctor
No complaints. When I phoned to make an appointment, I was told the amount for the service call, and the rate for additional time spent. The technician was able to determine exactly what type of switch was needed, and he had it when he arrived. Arrived promptly, and because it was a relatively minor repair, it didn't take long, so it cost a reasonable amount in the end.

They were very responsive, making time to stop the night before a holiday. They were also very informative through the problem diagnosis process. They explained every step of the process and gave me diagnostic tips for the future.
