    Rochester Knee & Sports Med
I had torn ligaments in my knee.  I asked the Doctor whether or not I needed a knee brace to help me with crutches.  He said no.  I ended up on my couch for two weeks with my leg elevated as I would almost pass out from the pain.  I saw a second opinion from another doctor since surgery was recommended and the first question from the new Dr. was "where is your knee brace?".  Anyways thanks to Rochester Knee and Sports Medicine not giving me a knee brace, I ended up with a blood clot in my leg from not moving it enough after the injury.  I had to be on blood thinners for 10 months!  Terrible!

    Bellanina Day Spa

I had a facial which was wonderful.  The environment was very peaceful and the provider was excellent!!  My girlfriend had a massage which she said was very effective.  She is a physical therapist and was impressed with the level of expertise her massage thereapist demonstrated.

My overall B rating is only because I have been to Miraval spa in Arizona and Bellagio spa in Las Vegas.  If you are expecting that type of high class, foo foo spa, this is not your place.  BUT . . . if you want a local spa that is clean, relaxing with professional and frendly service I would be very comfortable in recommending this spa.    My girlfriend and I were just discussing booking a return visit.

    Crittenton Sport Rehabilitation Center
They're very professional and never late. They give you an appointment, you walk in and you're working out. They're very adaptable, if you have to change something. They really work with you. I'd had days where my foot was really swollen and they decided not to do as much that day. They're very attentive and into you.

    Fried, Dr. Ron
I put a fraud report on him through Blue Cross. I bought a Groupon to go get an x-ray and 2 adjustments and a 15-minute massage and it's all supposed to be for about $75. I went there and h didn't take an x-ray, he didn't really do an adjustment, and they're all booked for all the massages. A month later, he billed Blue Cross for everything. He double dipped because he already got paid through Groupon and then he turned around and used my information to bill Blue cross. It was just a big hassle. I went to the office and they said the biller will call me and she never did. So they were just hoping it would go away. It's just shady. I think that they were friendly but I don't think that they were genuine.

    Rochester Knee & Sports Med
The first appointment was sort of a marathon. I spoke to a nurse who ascertained that I needed an x-ray and another technician showed up in a while to take me to the x-ray room. Next a resident/intern came in and examined my knee followed later by one of the physicians in the practice who discussed the x-ray but not the treatment as he was not the doc I had made the appointment with. Finally Dr. Prince came in and apologized for the wait I'd had and examined my knee more expertly than the others and told me what could be seen on the x-rays and why I'd need to have an MRI. That was the only time I had long waits in the exam room so I'm assuming that it was out of the ordinary. Since then I've been seen expediently.

    Rochester Hills Orthopaedics
My son injured his arm. We visited our family physician who sent us for an Xray, then referred us to the Rochester Hills Orthopaedics group to have the arm set. We phoned RH Ortho from the hospital and was given an appointment 2+ hours later. We arrived early (and quot;to fill out the insurance formsand quot;, all this group really cares about) and waited another 2+ hours in the waiting room! Then we were taken to the casting room (not a patient room) where we waited over an hour for the doctor! During our time in the casting room, my 7 year old was not only in pain, but nervous watching the other patients get their casts sawed off, which was only exacerbated when the ?doctors assistant? (not really sure, no name tag and no title) asked him how much his arm hurt, e.g. and quot;on a scale from one - ten, one being not at all and ten being you want to cut your arm offand quot;. I am guessing this office doesn't deal with children very often.
Totally unimpressed with the doctor as well. When he finally graced us with his presence (over 5 hours now), he breezed into the casting room, pointed at the arm break on the X-ray and stated my son would need a cast and quot;if that sounded good to usand quot;. Sounded good to us? Um, yeah, HE was the doctor and that was why we were there! After his 3 minute chat, he breezed out and another (technician) set my sons arm. Never saw the doctor again. Ta-Da!
We did return for a 2 week checkup. Same thing. Over 2+ hour wait, casting room, doctor for 2 minutes, out the door. Returned in another 4 weeks to have the cast cut off. Repeat. Over 2+ hours, technician started to cut off my sons cast, cut his skin, walked out of the room, never saw her again. Xray tech came in, asked who left him like that (how would we know? nobody introduced themselves or wore a name badge), another tech came in, cut off the rest of the cast, he had an X-ray, the doctor came in for his usual 2 minute chat, said it had been over 6 weeks so the bump was just fine...(actually it had been 6 weeks to the DAY, not and quot;overand quot;)
Clearly this office doesn't give a hoot about their pediatric patients. We were supposed to go for a final check-up, but they called the day of the appointment and cancelled. We will NOT be going back!

    CranioSacral Institute of Michigan, LLC.
It's amazing how they can make progress. It's been going on for two years. I had an injury when I was very young. They have a machine and they do the cranio-sacral and the physical therapy, that's what I consider it. What she has in that I have never seen in any kind of situation is enthusiasm. Because they have so many different, they consider everybody to be tools. They will let me try this and do the physical therapy in conjunction with something new. That shortens my time for physical therapy, I think. I give them feedback and they respond to it. I have Fibromylagia and it's nice to somebody who believes it because a lot of doctors don't. I'm fascinated on what they can do.

    Kraft, Dr. Paul
I simply cannot say enough about Dr. Paul Kraft. For one thing, his office staff is very accommodating, pleasant and willing to assist. Nice people make an office visit much more enjoyable. Dr. Kraft is:
    - Extremely knowledgeable
    - Patient
    - Caring
    - Involved
    - Accessible
    - Personable
    - Amiable
    - Truly desires improvement in his patients
    - Delivers results
    - Just an overall fabulous human being
I was a bit leery of chiropractors, and to be honest, doctors in general. But Dr. Kraft changed all that. I hope to see him for the rest of my life. I don't know what I would do without him. He wants to do all he can to help people. Have you ever seen a doctor who seemed detached, too busy for you, uninterested, arrogant and the like? And you wondered if they went into the profession for all the wrong reasons? Well, with Dr. Kraft, it is plainly obvious why he became a doctor. He honestly cares. I have seen doctors all my life, so I would say I am a fair judge of a good doctor. He is not the kind of doctor who would just rather you stayed quiet and listened to him. He is interested in hearing what you have to say. He is head and shoulders above the rest, believe me. If you have to drive some distance to see him, I would say go for it. He's worth it. And then some!

    Massage Envy - Summerville
I have been dealing with chronic back back for years now and since I just moved to SC I decided to give Massage Envy a try. It seemed that they offered different types of massages and I was especially interested in the neuromuscular massages they offer (since I was getting them prior to my move). I've now had few neuromuscular massages as well as deep tissue and they both seem to be the same. The neuromuscular is nothing like my experience with my previous therapist and they employees don't seem to be very knowledgeable about this type of therapy. My previous therapist specifically focused on neuromuscular massage so maybe I shouldn't expect a chain to have the specialty I was looking for (even though they offer it). If you are looking for a regular deep tissue massage for relaxation purposes this place seems pretty good, but the other types they offer seem to be more for attraction purposes rather than for implementation.

    Greenleaf Bodywork
We both had very good experiences. My husband had a Thai massage with Valerie and said he really enjoyed it and that he would return, unlike with the last spa I took him to. I had a prenatal massage and this was a first for me. I read a list of dos and dont's online so I knew in advance what was off limits. Aliza made me feel completely comfortable and I could immediately tell that she knew her stuff and that I didn't need to worry. Would definitely return to this place. BTW everything is very clean.
