  I submitted my project through Angie's List on a Thursday and requested quotes from CSR and two other providers. Ron was the first to respond, about about a half hour later. Although he offered to come out fairly immediately, the earliest my schedule would allow was the following Thursday so that was what we scheduled for his visit. He showed up promptly at the scheduled time with Dan. They evaluated the impacted area in the hall, as well as the attic since the mold had grown primarily along the perimeter of attic access door. They pointed out signs of poor ventilation in the attic, as well as evidence of weakened structure in the roof panels. To prevent recurrence of the mold, they recommended that these items be addressed. In terms of the immediate issue of the existing mold on the ceiling, they determined that the mold on the ceiling had not damaged the drywall itself so a professional cleaning and sealing would remove the mold. Re-painting the area (as well as the remaining hallway and trim, etc) was also recommended. I was comfortable with their recommendations, especially since I had been expecting that more extensive measures (e.g., drywall removal and repair) would be involved. I was relieved that the drywall had not been damaged by the mold. We scheduled the work to occur the following morning. Ron, his son (Anthony), and Dan showed up promptly as scheduled on Friday and began prepping the areas (taping the area for painting, setting up protective plastic, setting up ventilation fans). I was able to remain home, tucked away in my den, while they worked. The job was completed in about four hours, and they did a great job cleaning up afterwards. I was completely comfortable at all stages of my encounters with them. The work was done well and with minimal inconvenience to me. I also got a good sense that they wanted to do what needed to be done without inflating the project with unnecessary recommendations. In further testament to their integrity, Dan called me today as he noticed that the check I had written was for too much. He came back today to issue me the refund personally. I'm attaching "before and after" photos to illustrate what a fantastic job they did on making my hallway presentable again!

  SWAT Environmental Radon Gas Remediation Division

  Installation was done on time, however months later it was obvious the sump pump was inoperative. I called a plumber, cost $75, who informed me that the SWAT installer Matt fouled the power cord to the pump around the float assembly making it inoperative. the plumber managed to dislodge the wire without dislodging the lexon seal on top of the sump. Further investigation revealed that a tennis ball and a ping pong ball are still afloat in the sump chamber. These both have the potential to render the float assemble inoperative again. The installer Matt failed to check and remove the floating objects before sealing the lexan cover. This means my basement is still vulnerable to flooding possible causing thousand of dollars of damage. Calls to the company to correct the matter and reimburse me for the plumber were unsuccessful

  Attic Insulation & Ventilation Pro's

  These guys were excellent. The owner, George, seriously knows what he's talking about and he's not going to just come into your house blowing smoke and false information at you. He talked with my wife and I for a couple of hours about the industry, different products that are being used, and how his process and products actually work compared to many on the market that are fooling people and ripping them off. It took 3 guys a few hours to remedy the entire situation and I'm glad I hired them to do it. Very down to earth people, from the owner to the part time workers. It's not fun work in 150*F spaces spending hours cleaning up nasty mold but these guys don't gripe or complain, they just get it done and do it right.

  Mold Four Corners and Organic Cleaning

  We had Gregory out to look at it and he identified that the mold was dormant. I asked him to take care of it anyways, but he stated that in his opinion I would be wasting my money. It is refreshing to find a company that has the integrity to do what is right rather than pushing a service that is unnecessary!

  I would highly recommend USA Radon! They were very responsive and professional. Our install was made difficult due to limited space and it required some additional wiring, Tim and Mike took it all in stride and left us with a great system. They also put in extra effort to get the fan on the inside of the house, requiring very little on the exterior of the home. All work areas were also left very clean after the work was completed. I am very pleased with the work that was done, and would hire USA Radon again if I needed a system in another house.
