    Redford Transmission Service

    There was no need for an appointment. He put the car up and looked at it within 5 minutes of my arrival and made an immediate determination about the work that needing doing. He did not try to sell me anything. He also took me in to show me where on the car the leak was coming from and why a transmission rebuild would be necessary due to a loose bearing. He demonstrated the difference in each side where the bearing were located and I could see the problem for myself. I was very impressed by his professionalism and honesty. He also told me what to do to prolong the life of the current transmission, what I should look for to tell if it was getting worse, and approximately how long I had to look for another car (up to a year). He also gave me a general estimate on what it would cost should I decide to keep this car and have the transmission rebuilt.

    My daughter backed into another car and damaged the back bumper and tail lights. I looked for collision shops on Angie's list and found B & B Collision. Called and spoke to Randy and he was able to get me in the next day for an estimate. After I agreed with the price, Randy ordered the parts and they were back in two days. I took my vehicle in Monday evening and the car was ready by Wednesday afternoon. It was cheaper than originally estimated and the car looked GREAT. Thanks Randy and team for doing an AWESOME job!!!

    The person I talked to before the job stated that my car was so common that parts would be cheap with the savings passed on to the customer. First I was quoted 800.00 then they hit me with a 2500.00 bill. If I didn't want the job performed I was still on
    the hook for 800.00. The parts were doubled in price (for example 14.00 for a quart of trans fluid that cost 7.00  at the dealer). Also when I got the car back the steering wheel is way out of alignment and they never fixed it right. 
    They also damaged the CV joint boot and charged me 150.00 even though they did the damage.
    I would not recommend this place to anyone. They will take advantage through lying and misrepresenting what they say they will do and what they will actually charge.
     I have all the paperwork showing showing proof positive of their unprofessional if not illegal activities.

    They were very thorough in examining the car. Once they began the work and were able to see that there was more damage than was originally visible, they handled everything with the insurance company. It took a while to get the car back (12 days), but they did a great job. All the paint matched exactly, and everything looks perfect.

    AAA road service inflated and supposedly removed a nail in a flat tire late yesterday.
    This morning the tire was flat again and got a 2nd service call to inflate the tire.
    Took it to Tire Discount House and they could find nothing wrong with the tire and there was no nail hole or any damage to be seen.
    The manager, Brian West, did not charge me and suggested that I complain to AAA about the service provider.
    I called AAA and they removed the 2nd call from my record as the service provider reported that they changed my tire to the spare, which was not true..
    I am impressed with the honesty and service of Tire Discount House and will use them in the future.

    Belle Tire
    I got a flat tire on the highway. Went to a belle tire close to 96 and they did not have a tire or the sensor to replace on my car. They called the Belle Tire closer to my house, which is the one on plymouth road in Livonia, mi and asked them to order the parts needed and they asked me to be there the next morning to fix the tire. I showed up at 8am. They did not have the sensor yet so I waited around a couple of hours and they replace two of the tires and said that I needed 3 sensors replaced because they were cracked. So I said OK. They replaced them all and said that the low tire light would go out once I drove 10 miles. So I drove 40 miles to work and the light did not go out. I called them at lunch time and told them. They said to bring it in at 4pm and they would fix it. Went back at 4pm and they said that the sensor tester that they have was not charged that I would have to come back the next day at 4pm. Went back at 4pm and they said that they put the wrong sensor's in and that they did not have the correct ones in stock. They told me that they would get them in the next day and for me to show up at 4pm again. I showed up at 4pm and they guy at the desk told me that it would be another $100 for the new sensors. I told them that I was not paying any more, the took my keys and handed them back and said have a good day. I was not happy, told the guy that they installed the wrong part that they should eat the cost. Anyway, they eventually put the correct sensors on. I will never go back. I have never been treated so bad.

    Independent Transmissions of Michigan Inc
    We knew our 1994 Suburban transmission was suspect when we bought the vehicle in 2000.  Seven years later the transmission let go.  Independent replaced the transmission with a rebuilt unit.  About one year later, just out of warranty, the rebuilt transmission self destructed.  Independent put another transmission into the vehicle at 1/2 the price of parts and labor which I felt was very fair.  I would definitely return as I believe this to be an honest shop, something you don't see too often in transmission shops today.

    I have purchased 3 bikes from this dealer, with few problems, other than the very slow write up. Every time I tried to get service done, they made the appointment, and never managed to get the work done. From the 500 mile service (My wife and I ended up taking classes to do the work ourselves) to something as simple as grips. 2 appointments and never managed to get the work done. The dealer has since changed managers and lost most of the good sales staff. I went in and talked about a bike and got and quot;I hate your other bike, and I don't know HD's.and quot; Really, you don't know what you are selling? I left in a hurry.

    Rosenau Power Sports did fine on the regular maintenance for our motorcycles. However, my husband had a problem with his and they could never diagnose it right. To this day, it remains unfixed. So, for the routine stuff, they do fine, but for something that was a little out of the ordinary, they couldn't help us.

    Another tire place told me that my front tire was going low because
    there was a problem with my wheel, but didn't fix it or tell me exactly
    what was wrong with it. Fienn's told me exactly what was wrong with
    my wheel and fixed it at no extra cost. I also saw a Mother and grown
    daughter stop by because their low tire light was on. Fienn's put air
    in their tires no charge.
