At my next appointment he hadn't even looked in my file to see the results of the tests prior to coming into the room.  I had to ask him
about the results.  When he reviewed the results he insisted that I get more tests. He didn't have the time to answer my questions or to calm my fears.  He just insisted I get more tests even though it turns out they were both optional.  I went back to the hospital where I had the tests and the staff there said I could safely wait 6 months and return to have the tests repeated. If you want a "yes" man who will just do the minimum when you are healthy then  this is your guy.  If you have medical concerns then he isn't your guy.
His office staff is horrible.  They are rude and flippant.  I requested copies of my records and I had to sign a request form which asked how I could like to be contacted when they were ready.  After two weeks I had not heard from them.  I stopped by the office and they said I could sit in the waiting room and they'd print them out.  They handed me a small  stack of paper.  I asked where all of the results for prior bloods tests and diagnostic tests from the hospital were and they said I would have to call the nurse  the following day to ask for those.
I looked at the stack of paper they did give me and was shocked to see that on every appointment the main thing they listed as my concern was obesity.  I may need to lose a few pounds, but I am certainly not obese.  I went to many appointments with recurring allergic problems, sore throat, flu, etc. and they were not listed - so their record-keeping is horrible.  And to add to the obesity accusation - Dr. Mullallay could lose a few pounds.  And some of his staff are morbidly obese.

Dr. Somerville has been my PCP from the beginning of my first pregnancy in 2011 and I don't plan on changing offices or doctors. I first went to see him for my annual physical check-up. He continued to see me every month throughout my pregnancy. Afterwards, and this is the most important to me, he actually listened to me and tried to help. I have been having severe abdominal pain for 7 years and no doctor has ever tried to do anything about it. When the obvious tests were ran and came back normal they just blew it off. Dr. Somerville actually dug deeper. He referred me to specialists, ran tests the others didn't, etc. While we still don't know what is wrong, he is still trying to find out even though it's been 2 years. He also listens to my worries. When I expressed concern about my weight, he offered advice for it. After I had my son in November, 2012 he was concerned about post-partum depression. Not just the typical "are you feeling down" nonsense either. I could see his concern on his face. He is extremely friendly with a sense of humor and takes a business-casual approach with his patients. He makes it a point to ask how you are doing, will ask about your family and actually gets to know you, which is rare in the medical field. It's also a very effective treatment and diagnosis technique seeing as the more comfortable you are around someone the more likely you are to talk about your concerns. He even throws a 4th of July party every year that he invites not only his family to, but also his patients and their families. Everyone has a great time and their is no awkwardness about it. He is an excellent doctor that I would recommend again and again!

This Dr. Bazo is always available his office is open seven days a week! So I was able to have an office visit on A Sunday!  Turned out I had bronchitis so he wrote the script for antibiotics and I was good to go in less than an hour.
