    Crain Heating and Cooling
Crain was great. Cody came out the nest day after I inquired about a new HVAC system on their web site and he explained the options with quick pricing. After a brief walk through looking at or old AC/furnace we got the new ones installed six days latter. The installers, Sean and Will did and great job and had it installed around 5pm. Crain's pricing was more than fair. We couldn't be happier with our Lennox AC and furnace.

    IDC Heating Cooling & Plumbing
IDC has helped us on multiple projects and have always been professional, honest, and, frankly, masters of their craft. They came highly recommended, and I've not run across a group that knows heating and cooling better than they do. We've essentially needed to do a full house remodel on an older home we purchased, and IDC got the HCAC system to a great place for us while keeping costs and disruption to a minimum. In fact, last year they literally saved Christmas by repairing our relatively obscure furnace the night before Christmas Eve when practically everything else was closed. I'm a big fan and recommend them whenever I can.

    Colonial Heating & Cooling
I've had these guys out for service a few times, and they've always been great to deal with, and don't spout B.S. when they indicate issues. Essentially, I'm educated, understand controls, and they don't jerk me around. My AC compressor finally gave up the ghost, and because my four year plan included a new HVAC system, I elected to replace the whole thing. Just to be sensible, I had a couple of others out to quote, including the Costco local contractor (who sells *only* Lennox), and Colonial Heating and Cooling was the least expensive. This worried me a bit, because it was significantly less expensive than the other two, but I broke my rule and went with the cheap bid because I liked these guys and they've always taken care of me before. (They're in the same ZIP code, and I've found that outsiders like to add a hidden "ZIP code tax" just because we're a township to a rich city.) They had no issues understanding the custom thermostat I wanted to re-use, and they threw in a condensate pump that was required but not part of the bid, and didn't try to charge me extra. Craftsmanship was excellent (I'm a stickler for that), the crew were considerate, the crew chief was knowledgable, and they left everything just as clean as they'd promised they would. My only complaint was their backlog. It was 90F and we have a six-month-old. I won't take off a star because a backlog isn't really their fault, and it meant that I had Colonial installers rather than some goons they subcontracted. I wish dealing with every contractor left me with such good feelings.

    Oakley Heating and Cooling
It had been a very hot and humid stretch of weather, with lots of people having trouble with their air conditioning. Our the furnace fan would intermittently stop even though the AC compressor was still running and the set temperature had not been reached. Mark Oakley showed up before noon on the same day we called for service. He diagnosed a "tired" furnace fan motor, had the replacement part on his truck with him, installed it and was gone within one hour. He also gave us lots of general information about air conditioning and heating equipment. We didn't shop around for price in this semi-emergency situation, so I didn't rate the price he charged. We were very grateful for the quick response and the working AC!

    Vollmer Plumbing & Heating Inc
Doug from Vollmer Plumbing and Heating arrived as scheduled and did a complete inspection of the heating unit. The price was fair for the approximately one hour he spent removing the covers off the furnace and inspecting the workings of the unit. Doug explained all the information I needed to maintain unit.

    Templin Heating & Cooling, LLC
Called Templin Heating and Cooling and Michelle scheduled Mr. Winston same day. Mr. Winston arrived on time (actually slightly early -- a good thing). Mr. Winton preformed a through inspection and explained to me in detail operation of furnace and potential problems that might arise with a unit as old as mine. Inspection discovered a leaking hose which was replaced and cleaned reinstalled certain sensors. Mr. Winston was very professional and did not try to sell anything more that was was needed to fix the problem. Price was very fair considering it took more than an hour to disassemble, repair, and double check work plus parts necessary to repair. Will be using them again in the future.

    Gates Heating & Cooling
Fantastic experience. They were able to get to my house within a couple of hours of calling, they were very courteous and professional on the phone and in person. They were able to diagnose and fix my problem quickly and for an extremely reasonable rate. My experience with HVAC companies is that it's hard to find a service provider who isn't at minimum out to nickel and dime you with call out fees on top of any repairs they do (because they have you over a barrel when your HVAC is broken) OR worst case deliberately mislead you into spending much more than you need to. This experience however was fantastic and I'm pleased that I found somebody I trust for all my HVAC needs going forward. Can't recommend this business highly enough.

    Neighborhood Heating & Cooling
Once I was finally able to schedule (a combination of their company being overwhelmed at the time of purchase and my rapidly-filling work schedules) it was fine. The technician was professional and honest.

The guy came right out and we were hearing a bad noise in our furnace. We thought the blower motor was going but it turned out it was the cover on the air cleaner was loose and vibrating. They came right out and got someone out right away. The main reason we have used them is because they are a much larger company. They come out every year and check everything. We had Sharon at a previous place that we lived. We have been very happy with them. They come once a year usually in the Spring so they can check the air and furnace. Basically they check the freon, the coolant levels, make sure everything is right so we have good performance of the A/C in the summertime. We just call them and they come. When the guy was here, I said I want a price on a new air cleaner. It was put in by a different provider and I have not been happy with it. I told him I want a totally different operation here. They are going to call today and schedule to put a new air cleaner in.

Excellent. Dave solved the problem for a minimal cost. Another HVAC company tried to sell me a whole new furnace and AC unit without even fixing the problem we called them out for. I HIGHLY recommend Dearborn Heating and Cooling! High integrity. Dave gave us an opinion on how long our system might be good for, and fixed the problem we had. No high pressure. Well done!!! Cost- $150.00 Dearborn Heating and Cooling versus $7000.00 - $8000.00 for the other company. Quite a difference.
