    Michael Carpenter DDS
He is a wonderful dentist and he's very personable. Sometimes medical professionals treat you like you're a wimp or have no clue what you're talking about. He's been very receptive of everything I've said when I've gone in. I've been fortunate; I'll be 60 in a week and I never had any dental issues until I was 48 years old. That's when I had my first cavity. Now that I'm older, I've had to have a root canal and I've had to have a couple crowns. He's been so professional and so good about taking care of those issues. The hygienist is wonderful and the receptionist is friendly. I find that the older I get, the harder it is to find office personnel who are warm, friendly, and have a sense of humor. They don't seem to like what they're doing. I find that is a real plus when the whole staff is warm and welcoming. I'm moving to East Lansing soon and, since I only see him every four months, I can drive over from East Lansing to Plymouth. I'd rather keep a dentist or medical professional that I feel good about than to find a new one. I hate to break in new medical people.

    Great Expressions Orthodontic Center
I had a nightmare root canal so am changing dentists as fast as I can. They are fine as far as cleanings and things like that but if you have a problem and need to get in you can't get it; it's like an assembly line dental center. They never turn away patients; they have too many patients. They squeezed me in to look at my tooth initially but they could not get me in to do a root canal for a month. As a result the tooth got infected; it was a nightmare, painful root canal. The dentist drilled the bad tooth and could not get the tooth open on a Friday so because she could not drain it I was in pain all weekend. It turns out this dentist could not finish the job and had to send me to a specialist. The specialist just looked at it and said she would try to keep me as comfortable as possible because the tooth was traumatized. The specialist said the first dentist should never have touched it because it was too hard for a regular dentist to do and they also should not have waited a month to do the root canal. The dentist is overbooked and is rushing which is part of their problem.

    Gut, Dr. Dennis M.
He did a great job and he took me in immediately when I was in pain.  He did a good job and thanks to modern medicine as I am doing fine today.  My dentist recommended Dr. Dennis M Gut to me.  I will use him again in the future.

The ability to do the job well makes him an excellent dentist. He was personable, and the work was excellent. He was good with the needle and knew what he was doing. I would rate him highly and would continue to use him in the future.
