    HOME TIME CONSTRUCTION
Beyond my expectations. Terry is one of the most professional people in his industry. I met him for the first time when I needed roofing repair from the last turbulent windstorm, and he responded immediately. He was a great value then and an amazing great value on the last house I needed repaired. Terry is incredibly punctual and a man of his word - The definition of professionalism! Dave

Crews were highly efficient...both take down and rebuild..very professional workmanship..Jeff did a great job doing the entranceways to gates and he suggested post lights which we so enjoy! Follow through with office staff was immediately handled! We have already given this business name to neighbor and friend! Others have already commented how beautiful our new deck is! Outstanding workmanship and price! A plus!!

    Easy Home Improvement
Worker was prompt, efficient and professional. Major complaint is with cleanup process. We humbly recommend that future projects utilize protective tarps to keep all the broken brick chips, shards, and mortar chips from getting into shrubbery and flower beds around the house as well as protecting the roof from the brick debris. This would facilitate the cleanup and make the process more efficient and cleaner. Our major problem is that weeks after the project was completed we are still having to pick up small brick chips, etc. from the shrubbery beds around the chimney. We also had to clean up the top of a shed located next to the chimney immediately after the project as well as the yard along side of the house where the removed broken brick from the upper part of the chimney was thrown from the roof. Again, a suggestion that perhaps a bucket or some other type of container could be used with a rope to use to store and lower the removed bricks and debris from the roof rather that merely throw the brick into the yard where again we are continuing to find brick debris. We had no major problem with the brick debris that fell on the swimming pool cover close to the rear of the house and volunteered to clean up ourselvesf. The problem is that the other cleanup has become a major time-consuming project and we feel that it could have been averted with more careful planning and additional consideration for the customer. We continue to find new debris and are unsure if it is being washed from the roof by the recent rains or if we are just continuing to find it in different places in the shrub beds. Have not yet surveyed the roof to see if any debris was left next to chimney, etc. No complaints at all with the work done. Just very disappointed in having to deal so long with the after effects of the project.

    N A Mans
I had hardwood floors installed throughout the first floor of my house. NA Mans and their subcontractor did a great job! Very punctual, efficient, courteous, and they did a top notch job. They moved my furniture, removed all of the carpet, linoleum, and current hardwood and replaced it. I'm very satisfied.

All communication was done via email and phone.  I  sent some picture of the areas to repair, Dave provided a quick cost estimate and performed the job very quickly and with very high quality.

    Restore-A-Deck
I used them in 2013, and they sent me a reminder card it's time to redo the deck. So I called and they said it would be done by early June, called twice, said they forgot, but I am on the last. No calls yet and it's July this week, so I am moving on to another contractor.
In2013, they were sloppy and stripped some siding trim near the deck rail. They did come back and spray painted it, but it will not last

    COY CONSTRUCTION
The workmen were superb, true craftsmen. The job turned out to be much bigger than first suspected, but the increased costs were minimal. They included putting chicken wire all around the bottom of the deck to keep the critters out.

    Romana Construction
Romana Construction was very professional and easy to work with.  Mike visited our home to view the project and answer our questions.  He provided helpful suggestions and offered insight regarding stamped concrete patterns and colors.  We opted to replace our driveway and garage floor, as well as the city sidewalk fronting our property.  We also widened the driveway by adding a stamped concrete border on both sides.  These borders transitioned into a sidewalk leading to the front porch and a sidewalk leading to the rear of the garage.  Mike took careful measurements and asked pertinent questions to insure that he understood our desires.  He provided us with a cost estimate on the spot, and invited us to Romana's office in Melvindale to view samples of stamped concrete patterns and colors.  Mike provided us with a book containing numerous photos of completed stamped concrete projects, but cautioned that photos are not always a reliable indicator of how a finished project looks.
Romana worked diligently at scheduling my job within a two-week period.  We needed to empty our garage in order to replace the floor, and we had several other events occurring in our lives.  As the date for the pouring drew close, Mike called every few
days to appraise us of exactly what date our job would be done.
The day of the pour, Joe arrived promptly at the stated time, along with a crew of 5-6 employees.  The project took two days; one for demolition of the old concrete and constructing the forms, and the second day for pouring, finishing and stamping the concrete.  The crew worked efficiently as a team, each knowing his job and quickly getting it done.  Joe was open to suggestions on placing the forms; he worked diligently at getting the transition curves of the stamped borders to flow smoothly into their respective sidewalks.  He also made suggestions, such as increasing the size of the front porch step.  There was no cost for making these changes.  The pouring and finishing of the concrete went as smoothly as the first day.  This crew is well-practiced and many of them have been with Romana for several years.
Various employees returned in the ensuing days to make the expansion cuts in the concrete and to fill dirt into the empty space along the edges of the driveway and sidewalks.  They applied sealer to the concrete and even scrubbed the street to remove residue from job.  Most importantly, no damage was done to any of our shrubs or trees.  We were impressed with the care the employees took to be considerate of our property.
We chose Romana over two other contractors, largely because they have completed many driveways in our subdivision over the past 10-12 years.  Each of their jobs is marked with a stamp containing their name and the year the work was performed.  Their price was the middle of the three bids we received.  We have received many compliments on how nice our driveway and sidewalks look.  We would highly recommend them.

    James Fisher Licensed Builders Inc.
Jim was very helpful and professional from start to finish.  He had no problem working on an hourly basis just to help with a few trouble spots on a self build project.   He answers his phone and is easily reachable day and night.  Jim came out to estimate the job the same day I contacted him and showed up on time to do that.   The estimate was very reasonable and inline with industry standard rates.  When Jim showed up to do the work he was on time, brought all the equipment he needed, completed the work in the expected time frame and best of all the job was very well done.   The final price was a few dollars lower than the estimate but right in the ball park.  Very happy with this service provider.

    Restore-A-Deck
Very responsive from the start and throughout process. Booked appointment promptly and completed job on schedule. High quality job...even called to confirm and suggest new stain color. Also ended up using 2 more gallons of stain which they waved from the cost. Would definitely use this company again!
