    JCJ Contracting Inc
I could go on and on on the type of quality we got, how easy Cameron and his crew are to work with, and how much more we got for our money. We solicited three other companies to bid our project and they couldn't touch Cameron on what he gave us for our money. He made our garage match our house from the custom paint job and the peak over the entry door to using the same siding. Our garage doesn't look like an after thought. I could write a book on our positive experience with JCJ Contracting. This I will say, Cameron is honest, has integrity, is a perfectionist, and he responds to any issues or concerns immediately. A big plus.... Cameron is more concerned with your satisfaction than your money (believe it or not) and actually stopped me from some things I wanted done that he felt was not cost effective or the right thing for us. I have found if Cameron isn't very flexible on something, that it is something I should not be doing! He is good at hand holding and giving honest feedback on ideas. My husband and I are so pleased with the service he provided, that we are having him do a kitchen and house remodel this year without getting bids from any other contractors. Cameron is competitively priced, does such a good job and is so easy to work with that my good family friend used him and now their kids are using him too. (Thanks, Cameron for a job well done.)

You Got A Guy Construction LLC
From my very first interaction with Terry, I knew we found the person that would complete our project. Terry is very responsive and very committed to his work. I mentioned to Terry on the phone that we were about a year away from wanting to do our project and just wanted to get an idea on price, so if he wanted to wait to me I understood. Terry said that it would be a good time to meet so he came over. Terry was very attentive to what we wanted to accomplish with our space and helped us maximize it through ideas. My wife and I both knew after see the layout, reading his reviews, and seeing pictures of his work; that this was the person for our project. The price was in the range I thought it should be, so we did not seek another quote. The fact that Terry carries all the appropriate insurances, is licensed, pulls permits, and has a formal contract with appropriate language in it were the things we needed. Once it came time for our project to begin, Terry and Kevin showed up and hit the ground running. His subs were very responsive to meeting his timelines also. There was always a smooth transition from one phase to the next, and Terry went out of his way to ensure we knew exactly what was going on, who was going to be there, and what the next steps would be. The level of professionalism and communication makes me wish he would have been the person that built our house for us. This is how a home project should go. We have already talked to Terry about a smaller project in our upstairs bathroom. I can not say enough how much we love the work that Terry and Kevin did in our basement. It truly is no longer a basement, but a finished lower level.

Put a Smile on Your Place Construction
Excellent! We couldn't be happier with the finished product. Ted and his team were a pleasure to work with. They were such a fun group and we really enjoyed having them in our house. They worked very hard, were always on time and did beautiful work. My husband finally got his man cave and we added an entire floor of living space. If something didn't turn out right, Ted and his team worked overtime to make it perfect. This was a huge project but they completed it on time with no issues with the inspections. I would highly recommend Put a Smile on Your Place Construction.

    KITCHEN MASTER
We began talking to Kitchen Master in March 2015. We agreed on the contract and paid a deposit in April 2015. They said they were booked up and would not be able to begin the project until August 24th. We met with the designer on June 15th to pick out tile, finalize cabinet selections, etc. Everything seemed fine and the demolition was done in one day as scheduled. After that, we discovered the tile was not ordered until early July and that the tile for the shower floor was on back order for a couple of weeks. The plumbers didn't adjust the existing plumbing correctly and the carpenter cut holes in the cabinet to accommodate the improper plumbing. The cabinet was installed before the final floor tile trim was done. The quartz cap on the half wall for the shower was installed with a one inch gap against the wall and had to be re-done. It was discovered that the fan was not vented before the drywall was installed. The cabinet had to be moved so the plumbing could be placed in the proper location. Overall the communication as to scheduling and follow-up was non-existent. We were told up front that someone, the sales person or the job foreman, would be on-site daily to monitor the progress of the work. That did not happen and when the job foreman showed a couple of times he spent his time on the front lawn talking on the phone. There was no quality control provided by Kitchen Master and all required re-work and follow up was initiated by us. The initial quality of the work done by the "craftsmen" (plumbers, electricians, drywall and tile installers) was poor and there was much re-work done to bring the quality of the finished product to an acceptable level. Initially we were told the job would be done in 3-4 weeks. The final visit by the carpenter to install the cabinet hardware was on October 28th during the tenth week. Overall, we were extremely disappointed in the lack of attention to this job displayed by Kitchen Master. We would certainly not recommend them to anyone.

    Remodeling Specialties/Fred Sons
I asked Fred to come to our house because his pictures were among the few that expressed my simple and clean design aesthetic.
The first thing Fred said when he looked at the kitchen was that we should remove a pocket door and widen the doorway to the dining room, which we hadn't thought about, and he was right. It let so much more light in and opened up the view to our backyard. We didn't know what we really wanted, and Fred never rushed or pressured me to make up my mind. I had bought an Angie's List $84 design consultation, but would recommend not going in that direction -- just call Fred and he will come out and give you that hour or more without expecting you to pay.
One thing that really made me feel that Fred would be a good choice for us was that along with his estimate, he gave me a 2-page document detailing every task and service that he would provide in each class of cost -- more than just "flooring," "cabinets," and so on like other remodelers give you. It was all in writing. He arranged for me to visit the home of a former client so I could see her kitchen and get her honest feedback about Fred's work, which was very positive. I hoped to see good craftsmanship, and I did.
When it was time to go ahead, Fred recommended brands, showrooms and suppliers he had had good experience with. They all had professional and courteous people who also spent a lot time teaching us about cabinets, granite, and so on. It turned out that Showplace cabinets, Fingerle Lumber and Great Lakes Granite were good choices for us. Fred did not do anything to keep us from choosing other brands or sources, except a couple he had had problems with. He was also generous with his time visiting the showrooms with us. We chose to keep our SubZero refrigerator and Jenn Air stove even though they were old. Fred replaced the fridge's wood panels with stainless, which turned out well. I came up with my own idea for crown molding and Fred and Brett were able to execute it to get the effect I wanted.
Fred's crew, Brett and Lynn, and his tradespeople were professional and experienced. Brett, the lead carpenter, really sweated the details. Fred did some of the on-site work as well, and was similarly perfectionist about it.
Fred was also meticulous about the estimate, costs of change orders, and payment schedule. He fully informed me of costs of alternative choices and regularly sent me updated financial statements.
Overall, I would recommend Fred to any homeowner who wants the job done right, respectfully, and thoughtfully. We are now planning to get Fred's ideas about remodeling our basement.

    Grand Custom Painting
Jeff did an excellent job, our house looks fantastic! He worked with us on color selection and made excellent suggestions of his own. When additional wood repair was needed he stepped right up and was very fair on pricing. He provides a professional finish. We look forward to him finishing our interior, including cabinets.

    Sun Home Improvement

Siding on the south side of our house was badly damaged from a wind storm. Making an appointment for an estimate was easy, the owner came on time, the estimate was reasonable. He was willing to repair only the damaged side and reuse the old gutters to save money. In the long run, we decided to change all the siding and the gutters. The gentlemen who installed the siding, Chris and Billy, were very reliable, polite and did an excellent job despite the terrible weather. Chris and the Dave (owner's son) communicated with us every step of the way. What a great  company! We already have another project lined up for them.

    James Fisher Licensed Builders Inc.
Jim was very helpful and professional from start to finish.  He had no problem working on an hourly basis just to help with a few trouble spots on a self build project.   He answers his phone and is easily reachable day and night.  Jim came out to estimate the job the same day I contacted him and showed up on time to do that.   The estimate was very reasonable and inline with industry standard rates.  When Jim showed up to do the work he was on time, brought all the equipment he needed, completed the work in the expected time frame and best of all the job was very well done.   The final price was a few dollars lower than the estimate but right in the ball park.  Very happy with this service provider.

    JK Home Improvement
If your home needs new siding, look no further.  This is a 5 star organization.  After unsuccessfully asking around our neighborhood for recommendations, I took to Angie's List to find a reputable siding company.  Andy, one of the owners, promptly returned my call and set a time to come and give me an estimate.  He was friendly and courteous and gave me a detailed estimate of the job.  We received other estimates, that were in the same price range, but I liked the idea that the owners would be on site, working and supervising the crew.  Andy patiently worked with me while I chose the color and type of siding.  I felt as though he listened to my ideas and offered helpful suggestions.  Once on the job, the crew was punctual, polite and hardworking.  Every member of the JK crew was friendly and polite.  I was really impressed.  When they ran into a challenge with the porch/columns they consulted me, and did a lot of extra work (that did not result in any additional charges to us!)  It really turned out beautifully.   I was surprised by how quickly the job was completed and our house looks brand new!  We have had lots of neighbors stop by to complement the new look of the house.  I highly recommend this company!

    JK Home Improvement
We called JK first after reviewing siding and gutter contractors and they lived up to what all the reviews say.  They were prompt, efficient, and showed up and completed the job quickly and on time, despite some early December cold weather.  Andy was responsive and easy to work with.  They also do a great job cleaning up and leaving everything neat and tidy at the end of the day. Our neighbors were impressed and asked them to do their gutters and vents as well.  I would definitely hire JK again.
