Throughout my experience with reading online reviews, I have discovered that they fall within to categories. The first is a never-ending diatribe of someone who has an unfortunate experience, (there are two sides to each story). The other, a soothing, used car salesmen like, gleaming walk on water portrayal usually done by someone that has something to gain. I promise you I am neither. On a Thursday evening, 12 hours before my family and I were to set out for a 10-day vacation, I was minding my business eating dinner when my front tooth filling fell out. After panicking, I called Dr. Berman’s office and then proceeded to call his emergency line (I had no idea as to whether this needed immediate attention or not.) within minutes Dr. Berman, himself called me and asked how he could be of assistance. (Yes it was literal within minutes.) I explained to him my sorry circumstance including the fact that we were leaving in the morning for a trip. Without hesitation he asked me if I wanted to meet at his office. I was flabbergasted! I could not believe that Dr. Berman was willing to drop whatever he was doing and meet me at his office, remember this was late on a Thursday after hours. I’m 45 years old; I remember when companies and businesses really cared about their customers and not just bought television commercials telling us they care. I remember full service gas stations, and “real” people that didn't need to put you on hold to get to someone that could help you on the other side of the telephone line. In a world where corporations spend millions finding ways to make their customer do their job for them just to charge them more, (tell me I’m wrong) it sure was unbelievably refreshing to find real customer service. We ended up agreeing to meet the next morning (Dr. Berman’s day off and the office is closed) to remedy my tooth issue. Just think about that for a second, Dr. Berman AND his staff decided to wake up early, open their office on a day when it was closed to help me out. I’m sure I’m neither the first patient nor the last that need special treatment. Your smart, you’re here doing your homework, just like I would. I still believe that excellent service deserves loyalty, which is why I took the time to write this review. Good luck.
