    Matt Rogers came out and gave us a reasonable quote to attach the refrigerator to a water supply. He said that he would do the job the next Monday morning (11/21) but asked me to text him to remind him. I texted him that morning as agreed. He didn't show up, call or text. In the afternoon, I texted and he promised to come out in the next 30 minutes, explaining that his son was sick and had to go to the ER. I replied that I understood, but then he was a no show again. Then he said he would come out the next morning (11/22). I texted at 10:35 am because he didn't show up again. My last text was at 6:50 pm on 11/22 asking if he was going to show up. His voicemail box was full, so I couldn't leave a voicemail message, and he didn't answer his cell phone. I left another text at 3:57 pm on 11/23 but never heard from him again. We did NOT have the refrigerator hooked up in time for our house guests arriving the evening of 11/23 for the Thanksgiving weekend.

    Did not use after the plumber quoted a high $$ amount for the work: Trip charge $69 Time $120/hr Cap a pipe $150 Sign off on paperwork $25 Unfortunately, I did not ask for opinions from neighbors and coworkers, if I would have I would not have contacted Dan Wood. There are a lot of other high quality plumbers in the Kalamazoo area that will do the work for a reasonable amount.

    They always screwed up A/R, so they'd apply payments to the wrong accounts.  Then I would get nasty letters saying that my account was in arrears, but of course the arrears amount they showed in one account had a positive balance in another account for the same amount.  They did this nearly every time I had a delivery.  It was a hassle but when I would call in the manager would apologize for the umpteenth time, and say it would be corrected (which it was), blah blah blah.

    I lived with this because I liked the softener brand and their delivery guys did a nice job.  Things changed when they put a person named "Doris" in charge.  When I called in to explain the problem, Doris was incredibly rude.  I tried to explain what happened, but she told me "too bad".  Literally.  She then told me any future orders would be COD, I explained to her that I had done business with her company for 20+ years and that I would not accept COD terms.  At that point I told her that I was closing my accounts, and that she should arrange to pick up the rental units.  Her response was "That's fine". 

    I hired a new company (Canney's - they are excellent) and replaced the equipment.  Of course, Gordons never came and got their rental units until after my 3rd call.  On that third call, I told them they had 48 hours to get the stuff or it was going in the trash.

    I thought the matter was done, but of course, no.  I have since received two separate letters from them threatening legal action.  Each time, I have called in to them and told them that I would be glad to pay them any money I owed them, but my balance showed zero.  I requested that they provide 2 years worth of service and payment info so I could reconcile it with my data, but I never received it.  Each time I did this, I talked to a manager (my bad for not getting their names), but they assured me that they would review this, they were sorry, and they would get back to me in "2 or 3 days".  Not surprisingly, I never heard from them again, but I do expect that at some point I will get another threatening letter.

    Bottom line ---- I wouldn't use this company again - EVER!

    I chose to use them because they had about forty reviews on a very high grade on Angie's List and my next door neighbor works for them. They are very knowledgeable and very good at working with me to get the new supply outlets and return, register, gross, get that all located to the reconnected system. They have good workmanship. They take care of the details. The job looks like its going to be on schedule. They show up every morning just after 8 o'clock, bring the gear in and get to work.

    Came out to give an estimate. Was very honest in what the job would entail and that the estimate had to be a price range. Was back in a few days to do the work. Was very professional. Did the repair, despite the huge challenges, and cleaned up everything afterward. Charged no more than the estimate.

    Was on time, very professional.  Explained well what the problem was and the repair.  The technician did notice a running toilet and offered to replace the flapper, but the cost he proposed was in my mind excessive for that simple fix.

    They were suppose to here anytime 2p-4p. They were late due to the office giving the driver the wrong address. When he arrived he went right to work, explained everything he was doing and the issues he found. Price was around what I had expected. Due to tank not being pumped in over 30 years he was here longer than the hour we had been quoted. But, we knew that was probably going happen. They are scheduled to return on the 28th to replace the outlet baffle.

    It took him 3 days. We were very impressed with him. He was the only one that was working. He was wonderful. We could not have asked for a nicer person. He did above and beyond what he said he was going to do. He did it when he said he was gonna do it and he finished it when he said he was going to. I would give him an A plus. We've already recommended him to several people.

    I was very pleased. I didn't have anything that I disliked. They came on time and took care of everything before they left. They did not leave a mess which was greatly appreciated because later on we had another company come in and it was totally opposite. Their was nothing that I was displeased with. I contact the several ways and they got back to me right away.
