Advanced Water Treatment & Well Drilling
It went very well. We have very "hard water" in our area and I chose Advanced Water to install our Water Softener. One thing that I really appreciate is that per-chance you have an issue, they will make it right quickly and without any hassle! Brad (the owner) is a professional and he wants his customers to be satisfied and happy! Also, the people who work at Advance are very courteous and professional from the person you talk to on the phone to the installer(s) that comes to your home.

    JRB Renovations
The whole process went as planned from start to finish. They were always prompt starting most days at 7am. Always contacted us with plans for next day. They provided quality workmanship in every area. All workers were skilled, courteous, and professional. I would recommend JRB Renovaions without hesitation for any home remodeling project. On time and on budget. Who does that?

    Handyman Connection of Ann Arbor
Tom was wonderful. Very personable, prompt and professional. It took longer than anticipated for repairing the water pipes. Time let me know that would be the case as soon as he started the work and saw the extent of the corrosion. I will definitely use Handyman Connection again.

    Schutz Heating & Cooling
Right from the start Rebecca called me the day after I had sent a email out from the Trane web site, We set up a time to meet at our home in Pinckney, She came out we walked around the home inside and out , she sat down with my wife and I and went over different types of units then after talking about all the options with Rebecca my wife and I new we would be in good hands she made us feel good about our choices. Then once we made our choice the install day came the guys showed up on time came in looked over the areas where the units would go and went to work Ron and Jeremy I don't think I could have a better crew come in and work on our equipment great job, covered my floors, removed all old units and took them away. I will have no issue calling this company back into our home for anymore work I would need done. Thank you Schutz heating and cooling great job, great people.

J Needham & Sons Plumbing Inc
No one called us back. So I called and told the receptionist I would like at least 50% of our money back since he didn't resolve our problem. She said she would give him the message and again no one from J. Needham and Sons called us back and we did not receive any of our money back. Definitely avoid this plumbing company! Very unethical!

    Lakeside Service Company
Original estimate was $500. I was told that the install on one of the fans was iffy because of the way the fan was mounted and because other equipment may interfere with the installation. Final bill came to $750 because they essentially had to dismount and remount the existing fan. This was a 50% increase of the original estimate. I would have liked a more accurate estimate in order to be able to make a better decision as to who to hire for the work.

    Countryside Plumbing
I contacted Dino through Angie's List on Sunday and he returned message same day. He came out first thing Monday morning to replace whole-house filter that had sprung a leak. He and his assistant were both very pleasant and professional, and the work was completed in about an hour. I couldn't have asked for better service!!!

Unfortunately this provider does not service my area. I really wish he did. Even after he discovered I'm not in his service area, he gave me advice on arsenic removal and well rehabilitation. He is clearly very knowledgeable and is not just out to make a buck. He confirmed what I suspected--that many well drillers will tell you that you need a whole new well when repair will suffice. He said the only reason to replace a well is when sand starts getting through. I recommend him highly.

    Lakeside Service Company
I called Lakeside over the weekend and left a message on voice mail to contact me about an appointment.  They called first thing Monday morning and we got an appointment set up for later the same day.  Aaron called before he came out, and arrived at the beginning of the time period we were told. After asking some questions about the furnace and what it was doing, he got right to work diagnosing the problem.  This turned out to be a bad igniter.  Since the furnace was rather old (20+ years), he made some calls to see if the part was available, and it was.  In order to replace the ingniter he had to remove the gas line and gas valve on the front of the furnace.  But once inside, he found that the igniter was, indeed, faulty, as his electrical tests showed previously.  He also cleaned the flame sensor, which was dirty.  This particular furnace has not had this sort of care in over 10 years, so all of this work was not unexpected.  While he had the furnace apart, Aaron did inspect the heat exchanger and said it was in good condition.
I appreciated that Aaron thought ahead for such details.  After he reassembled the furnace, he checked for proper burner operation, including testing for carbon monoxide and that the thermostat worked.  Everything checked out okay.  We decided to go with the 1 year service policy due to the age of the furnace and it did save us some money immediately (this was in addition to the price of the furnace repair).  Aaron was polite and helpful, explained what was wrong and what our options were.  So, all in all, this was an excellent experience, and we now have a working furnace.

    Benjamin Franklin Plumbing
Was very timely.  Communicated what was being done at each step of the work.  Another repair requested was not actually a plumbing issue and the technician pointed out what the problem was and who to contact to correct the problem.  He could have done what I asked and then told me he could not fix the problem.  Saved several hundred dollars up front.
