  • I trust them. I trust they are not going to tell me that we need something done and we don't really need it done. I've had my car in the dealership and they said we need this or that and then I will take my car there and they will say, well, you could get another 6 months out of that part or something. It will also be a lot cheaper if they do it. They are really reasonable, real reasonable. Their oil change is only $17 and they will check all your fluids and they'll tell you if they find anything wrong. I just trust them. They won't do things that aren't necessary or they will tell you that you need to do this in 3 months or something. I buy my tires through them and everything.

  • The shock absorbers were sent incorrectly for both trucks. When I checked the website for the history of the order there was "mysteriously" "NO ORDERS" listed in the order history for the past 12 months under our account. Also, the "profile" that they requested for both vehicles was missing. Instead a Ford E-350 (club wagon or van) was in the account. And seemingly (obviously) the order was filled for that vehicle. I think that the company shipped the wrong order to us. Just as a piece of background, we have 270,000 miles on the truck. Believe me! Spending that much time in a truck....I know the difference in a F-350 and a E-350! The order was placed correctly! We called several times (we were either disconnected or hung-up on) to explain that we want to return the shock absorbers and have our money refunded. They insist that they had fulfilled the order we requested. We were told that we "should have called the order in". Their website doesn't say this. I think that anytime someone says that you "should have done" something the opposite than what you have done is using a cop-out. Now, on their behalf: They sent an email to verify the order placed. Unfortunately, by then, we were in Canada for 5 days and couldn't check our email. We are "haulers". We deliver trailers and campers from manufacturers to dealerships throughout the US and Canada. When we got home the order had arrived. (Using their logic: if they had CALLED to verify the order, they would have known THEY were wrong.) They are insistent upon a 30% re-stocking fee. I think this is their error and we should not pay a re-stocking fee. Further more, they probably sent our order to someone else and they will charge them a restocking fee. PUH-LEASE! That's nearly $200 for each of us for their mistake. I think this is not a very reputable way to do business. Their solution is to order the "right" shock absorbers and they will accept the parts back and they will forego the re-stocking fee. Sadly, we had to scramble to get shocks on the truck to get back to work, so we ordered them from a local merchant. (These shock absorbers are not the same name brand). At this point, we are not interested in forking over another $600 to stock-pile shock absorbers for ourselves and a fellow driver, while waiting another 270,000 miles to use them for replacements.
