    It is not close here so I do not plan to go back there. It is just too far away. It took them about an hour to finish the service as I sat in the car. I guess they are okay. Their price was very high. It was way out of line. They performed all the services. They did not hire anybody else to do their work.

    I have used Motor City Auto several times over the years, and I have always been pleased.  I like the fact that Mark doesn't try to push unnecessary repairs or services on me.  He is a throwback to the repair garages that we grew up with, honest, fast and very reliable.  
    Mark inspected a new car that we bought for our son.  This is a high mileage vehicle and he could have easily said we had to put a lot of money into it, and because the car was for our son, we would have done whatever he recommended.  I wouldn't even have bought an older vehicle without the knowledge that I had someone trustworthy that we could take it to.
    If you are looking for a dependable, honest've found it!

    All I can say is Steven did a phenomenal job! His professionalism, attention to detail, and flexibility in meeting locations is a testament to his firm's level and commitment to customer satisfaction.     Red's Auto Srv. has been very beneficial for 4 separate repairs. The owner has been very helpful with suggestions of alternative solutions until I decided to have repairs done. They gave me a day to bring vehicle in for repair and completed that task and called me to inform me that my vehicle was ready for pick up. They were neat with repairs. They are a small Mom/Pop shop so attention to your needs don't get lost in which vehicle is yours and what service was performed on said vehicle. All charges were reasonable for repairs performed..

    in case my engine blows up or something. I do this with EVERY oil change. It took way too long to educate the service  tech and for them to do the work. Also I DO NOT WANT TO GET OUT OF MY CAR.  I DO NOT WANT TO REMOVE ALL OF MY PERSONAL BELONGINGS EVERY 3000 MILES. I HAD MY GASOLINE CREDIT CARD STOLEN AND USED FOR 3WEEKS, ALMOST A MONTH. BEFORE I REALIZED.  thanks guys

    with in 4 days the car was good as new. The glass fit perfect and the car was clean and shinny. it was hard to get glass to fit, the sent the piece back twice but stayed on the job to finish in good time

    Awful!! After 20 plus calls, endless ;lists, 3 appointments ,its still not fixed.
    this also reminds me that a few years ago, I had another problem with this same Dealership.  I wanted to turn in my lease car. GM said I could take to ANY dealership and drop it off.  I had a guy look the car over and I gave him the keys. 4 months later I received a bill from GM Lease Co. saying I owed $1800.00+ in damages to the lease vech. part of which included a BROKEN WINDSHIELD that needed to be replaced. NO.  The windshield was FINE.  Months of threats and phone calls. Unfortunately I didn't take pictures of the car on the day that I dropped it off.  that would have saved a lot of GREIF.  This DEALERSHIP IS TERRIBLE IN THE BODY SHOP AND THE SERVICE DEPT!!!

    Chose this garage based on other reviews on AL. They got us in immediately, confirmed a diagnosis within an hour or so, gave us the estimate ahead of time, ordered the part, and had the car ready for us by the end of the day.
    Not super expensive....not cheap..... but the service, convenience and professionalism of the transaction made it worthwhile for us. Gave us honest opinion on some other car issues and seemed genuine. Would definitely go back.

    Initially I thought I had a leaking hose; it turned out there was a split in my radiator. The power steering was also making a noise. A dealer wanted to replace the pump. RED S explained the manufacturer substituted automatic transmission fluid for power steering fluid in this model - to cut costs. Instead of replacing the pump he drained the fluid and replaced it with power steering fluid. A new radiator was installed and oil changes, etc. we're also performed - all within a day. Great service and honest assessment of what needs to be done. I'm new to this area and will continue to have work performed by RED S.

    I've lived in the area for twenty years, I have two vehicles and Oxford Brake is the only place I will take my cars to. When I first started using them they would not charge to do the brake inspection. I think they do charge a small inspection fee now. It's a husband and wife run business and the son now works with the father. You can explain things to the wife, who does the phone work, and she can usually tell you what's going on. You can sit and wait for your car or drop it off. You can drop off the night before and leave the keys in through the door and they will call you the next day with an estimate before they start the work. If you don't need the work done they will not try to talk you into it. One time the owner came to my house an told me they had a mishap with my truck and it slid off the jack and hit the car next to it. And he had already had my pickup at a collision shop getting it fixed. He said this was the only time in his career where a car slid off the jack. Their insurance covered everything. They set me up with a rental car as well and I had that for three days. These people are just awesome. The owner felt so bad. Every one that I've dealt with has been great. I recommend them to everyone.
