  I spoke with someone on the phone a few times in arranging this move. I was impressed with the assistance over the phone and the follow-up email confirmation with tips for a successful move, once we had selected a date and time. The office did not pass along my comments to the driver about our place being a little difficult to find, but that was a minor delay. Frank and Stirling were friendly, courteous and careful with belongings and the apartments as they moved at a good pace throughout the morning and early afternoon. I appreciated them asking for clarification on items that might contain items that could be damaged (eg. coffee table drawer) to be sure that there were no items inside that might be damaged. I would definitely call Kingsley again for a local move.

  Very reliable service, which we had used once before. Drivers are skilled at placing and retrieving the POD and the website provides clear instructions on packing and securing a load. Very nice personnel at all points of contact.

  I had one issue with them. The first driver that came out turned down the load. Said I wasn't ready and I had an issue with that. A week later a different driver came and he was perfect. He was very nice and accommodating. I guess it wasn't a driver that they normally use so I don't hold that against them.

  The reps are so friendly, my husband rang in occasionally and was also very taken with how pleasant the young man assisting us was. Once we'd at long last whittled down our list of furniture we were ready to go ahead and book our move, and from then on everything ran like clockwork.

  Highly recommended!  When your caught up in the move, or discouraged with the extra work still do for a successful transition, this team is ready to help!  They are on time, polite, and treat your belongings as if their own.  The only company that has a TRUE replacement policy should something be damaged (vs. other moving companies pay per pound policy.)  There is a reason this team is the preferred vendor in town for those moves, whether residential or commercial.  They can help with the complete moves, or even just those heavy/bulky items, and provide excellent service, and even finish ahead of time in many cases.  Hands down, the best bang for the buck!

  Wow! This outfit and experience simply could not have been more perfect. After an incredibly shoddy experience with Two Men and a Truck, I found Your Friends here on Angie's List and we could not be happier.  They arrived spot on time and before I could turn around they had all of the furniture covered in moving blankets and shrink-wrapped.  I could hardly believe how quickly they worked.  Special requests were handled easily. The crew was friendly, helpful, and a pleasure to work with.  And the pre-move estimate was exactly right.  I will never call another moving company again. I am delighted.

  The receptionist I spoke to was very friendly and pleasant but not helpful at all.  She did not know your hourly rate for loading a moving truck.  I am active duty military, and I move all the time.  I move myself but hire a moving company to help load and unload the truck.  Every moving company I call can tell me their hourly rate for loading as well as a minimum time.  She did not know the hourly rate and had to put me on hold to go find it.  After a couple minutes she came back and told me it was $136 an hour.  Which is pretty high, so I asked what the crew size was.  She said it was for a crew of 4.  If that is the case it is a very good price.  She was not sure on the crew size, so still ended up being transferred to someone else and got their voice mail.

  It went great! I am very pleased with the service. They arrived on time and were very well prepared. They wrapped all the furniture in a plastic wrap and moving blankets. They were very careful with the items but still efficient at the same time. I will definitely use them again in the future.

  Two Men & A Truck

  It seemed just fine until we started the unpacking of the boxes. For example, I personally carefully packed a set of very good Japanese dinnerware that my dad got after WWII while serving as a physician in the Navy, helping those affected by the bomb. They managed to break a piece. Also opened a big wardrobe box...you would think clothes would be hanging in there, but nooo. They threw about 15 sweaters in the bottom of the box, then piled a bunch of shoes on top of them and, for good measure, finished up with a pile of bath towels. Today I unpacked two large boxes that contained all coats. Now, those I would expect to be hanging in a wardrobe box instead of rolled up haphazardly in a heap. They are totally wrinkled and we will have to spend, I would imagine, quite a bit of money to get them all professionally cleaned. Very disappointed.

  They did a good job.  They have broken a couple of small items but they replaced it.  I had no problems with their service.  The same guys who did the packing in Pennsylvania were also the ones who did the unpacking here in Michigan.  That is good because in that way they were already familiar with the items, and how to assemble things.  That is good working model.  The crew were very friendly. However, there was a new crew in Michigan who was a little ambitious and was not handling the things right so they replaced him.  I feel that they were excellent and I had a good feeling about the entire experience.  I think the price would be lesser if the packing was done ahead of time.
