  • Very responsive and informative. Unfortunately, this was the highest quote we received. We went with another company that was much more affordable for the same Hunter Douglas blinds. Advantage offered to meet the price, but I didn’t think that was fair to the other people who bid fairly on the job.

  • I made an appointment for a consultant to come to my home. They called the day before to confirm my appointment. They were to arrive between 5-6 pm. When they still had not arrived by 6:00, I called them...they didn't answer. At 6:30, they called me to tell me they were just leaving their prior clients' home and would arrive in 30 minutes. The courtesy of a call to tell me they were running late, would have been appreciated but they didn't do that and they didn't answer my call when I tried contacting them. My time is valuable and they didn't appreciate that. I will not reward bad business. I will contact another company and take my business elsewhere.

  • The salesperson was great, and I picked out and paid for my blinds (3-16-16).  I was so excited when she left, because what I picked out was going to be gorgeous.  I got a call 5 days (3-21-16) later telling me that the shade color I picked out in the laundry room was discontinued.  So I decided not to proceed with the laundry room shades, but I still wanted the kitchen blinds and I needed her to put the order in immediately, since I thought the order was in already.  I don't hear anything for weeks, so I called customer service on 4/6/16 to see where my blinds are, and they told me my order wasn't submitted until 3/29/16.  NOT HAPPY!!

    They finally arrived 4/13/16, installer put them in 4/14/16.  I love them and they are gorgeous, but I can't recommend a company called 3 day blinds to anyone.  I never expected to get my blinds in 3 days, but 4 weeks was not acceptable.  There are many blind companies not to shop around!!!

  • I had a very pleasant experience from beginning to end.  Michelle contacted me immediately to set up a time to come out to my home.  She was prompt and professional and very nice to work with.  I have some custom windows on angled walls that come together with only an inch or two between the moldings.  She confirmed that we could do what I wanted done with the valances that come with the blinds.  Michael, the owner, did the install and customized the valances by cutting or mitering the angles that meet.  He did an excellent job!  Michael was prompt, worked efficiently and cleaned up after himself.  I have to also say that both Michelle and Michael gave me very good advice in helping me to make my decisions when I was picking out the blinds.  I am so glad I listened to them because everything turned out perfectly!  I am completely satisfied.  And lastly, I have to mention that I also ordered two small shutters for my sidelights at the front door.  Shutters take longer to come in than blinds, but Michael called me when the blinds were ready to ask if I wanted him to come and install them or if I wanted to wait for the shutters and install them all at once.  He could have easily waited for the shutters to come in before he called me and then he would have only had to make one trip.  Now that is excellent customer service!  I would definitely recommend using this company.

  • The blinds look great.  I didn't think about how we could see into the valence on our landing while standing on the 2nd floor.  I called Harry to see if there was a top to the valence that he sold.  While there is not, he will be stopping by next week to make a modification so that we can no longer see into the valence.  Harry and Corey are very professional and accommodating.

  • I initially contacted Michael and he called me back within an hour.  We scheduled an appointment for him to come to my condo for an initial consultation and while we were on the phone, I told him what types of window treatments I was thinking of getting.  The day of the appointment, he arrived on time and was very professional.  While there, he took precise measurements with a laser measure, showed me samples of the window treatments I was interested in, answered all of my questions and offered suggestions.  About 3 weeks later, Bill called to tell me the blinds were in and to set up an appt. for the installation.  Bill arrived on time and got right to work.  He was very thorough and did an excellent job of installing the window treatments.  He was also very helpful in answering all of my questions and great to work with.  The blinds fit well and look great.  I would certainly recommend Advantage.

  • I heard of him through an acquaintance. He did blind cleaning and he restrung a blind for me. I had to call him back as he only restrung one side and I needed him to do the other side and he did restring it correctly. He came back and he was pleasant, helpful, and he corrected the work.

  • Excellent job throughout!  The price we paid with Advantage Blinds was about 1/2 the cost of using Costco's Custom Blinds service -- and we bought the exact same Hunter Douglas brand as Costco, for far less money.  Our salesman Bill was extremely knowledgeable and professional.  We had never order blinds or shades of any kind before so he helped educate us on the various styles and options available.  We placed our order on January 11 and Bill quoted 2 weeks for delivery.  Sure enough, 2 weeks later he called us to schedule a time to do the installation on 1/26.  My wife and I feel he did an excellent job on the installation.  The blinds look great and we are very happy with the styles and colors we picked.

  • Lee required a $5000 retainer which I paid knowing I could potentially be spending several times that. He promised on several occasions to send me fabric swatches, sketches and photos of items I may have been interested in. I never received them. Assuming he was probably busy on bigger projects, I terminated our relationship hoping we could part friends. Instead of apologizing and offering to make it right, he was abrupt and indignant and made me feel as though I did something wrong. When I asked for the final bill, I was charged $849 for the mirror he originally told me was around $400 and for 11 hours of his time. In addition, while hanging the mirror they scratched the wall and touched it up with paint that did not match and I had to repaint it later. The bottom line is that he over promised and under delivered. I was surprised and disappointed with his lack of customer service.
