    Mueller Heating & Cooling Inc
He did a wonderful job. He was quick in completing the work, very professional, very respectful. I called him the other day when I was having a problem getting my heat to turn on...we knew it couldn't be the furnace since that was new, so he tried trouble shoot it over the phone. When that didn't work he stopped by to take a look and it was a simple fix, with the thermostat...and then he said there you go have a good day!

Great company to work with! Rates were very reasonable and the business is family run. I don't know much about home systems and they took the time to tell me some basics about my AC and gas run appliances. Everyone was polite and friendly. John Jewett was especially helpful, giving me tips about a garage furnace, how to light the pilot light in my water heater, and more. That stuff had little to do with what I hired Jewett to do, but I had questions, John had answers and that experience sold me on using Jewett for all my heating and cooling needs. They even went out of their way to tell me how to save money if I just picked up some of the parts myself, like a longer appliance whip for my dryer. I highly recommend them.

Furnace stopped running late on a Thursday afternoon.  I called Bishop's, whom I had used before.   A service man came out that evening after his regular calls.  After inspecting, he related that I needed a new furnace, but showed me how to keep it running on a limited basis.  A manager came out the next morning to give me a quote, which I accepted, and was given an installation date of the following Tuesday.  The service people (2) showed up about half an hour late - but no big deal.  It took about six hours from start to finish.  Their clean-up was great - you'd never know they had been down there, except for the new furnace!  My only complaint was the service person who installed the new thermostat tracked dirt through the kitchen.  Bishop's did all the paperwork for permits, etc. and set up the inspection times, which went off without any problem.  The manager also placed a follow-up call to ensure I was happy with the service.

Because of the OUTSTANDING assistance from I think her name Rhonda (office) and Jeff (technician), I called the owner to inform him of his staffs Marvelous assistance!  To often personnel recognition goes without notice.  First  the call to get help in a hurry after explaining the loss of my brother to a gas explosion.  The one in the office, as i said I think was Rhonda gave me the first available opening for the next day and was also extremely helpful.  It was only about 10-15 minutes, and she called back saying if I were to be home she had a technician available now and could be there within about 10 minutes.  I agreed.
When Jeff (technician) showed up, he performed so much more than just the adjustment that was needed.  He was totally understanding and "sniffed" all the areas of a possible leak just to back up what the gas company had said.  His personal attitude, sense of humor, and professionalism was nothing short of AWESOME!   Jeff also eased my concerns with gas by explaining  the safety features of my furnace and that I had nothing to worry about.
I received all this FANTASTIC service for what was a simple adjustment for being under gassed has gained my future business for sure.
I also felt i had to contact the company owner to express my COMPLETE SATISFACTION with the two members of his team.
THANK YOU AGAIN BISHOPS your name is on my furnace and appliances!

hadThey responding very quickly.  We were still in sub-freezing temperatures when our furnace began failing sporadically.  Jewitt was her in less than 36 hours and had the work done shortly thereafter.  Jewitt is a fabulous family run business.

Duct Works Air Duct & Dryer Vent Cleaning
Process took a bit longer than expected (just over 3 hours total), but that was because he was doing a very thorough job.  He also was very meticulous about cleaning up after himself.  After the cleaning was complete, he ran both the heat and air conditioning to make sure everything was correct.

    Vander Hyde
The service person called and got permission to perform a labor intensive install instead of an easy day of tune ups, so I would have heat for the weekend. He performed a walk through of areas to see what heating duck would benefit from some extra insulation.

Complete explanation of how my heating system works. WOW, I know for sure this was a person dedicated to put the customer needs first. Now I want to say that it was inside this person, Matt, which means if this represents Vander Hyde, go with them.

The serviceman arrived slightly early. He was pleasant. He checked out the furnace and filled out the necessary paperwork with me providing my DTE account number where all I had to do is sign it. He then took paperwork back to his office where they will send it out to DTE so that I can get a $50 rebate on the furnace cleaning (while the money for these rebates hold out). Obviously I had to pay the entire $59.99 up front. I will get the $50 rebate check directly from DTE in about 8-10 weeks. The office was very honest in admitting that while DTE says 4-6 weeks, it actually usually takes the 8-10 weeks. I found that helpful so I'm not waiting for something to way before it really will. The serviceman then called the next day and asked to come back to double check something. It was completely at MY convenience. He again arrived promptly. It took about 2 minutes and he was on his way again. He did offer upgrades on filters but was not pushy about it.
I was pleased. I called them as a friend of mine recommended them having used them before. I was not disappointed.

    Lascko Services
The work was done well. The price was way out of line. I would have turned them down on price but I had no option to reschedule. The biggest thing that still bothers me is that they seemed relatively uninterested in the things I asked them to fix. Instead they were looking around the house trying to find other work that they could convince us to do. I had a hard time convincing them I didn't want a new furnace. This is why I will never use them again. They see our vacation home on the lake and assume it is their gold mine. They were very professional though.

I found a promotional price in a local circular for a furnace tune-up. After checking Angie's list, I called to schedule an appointment. The phone answering service took a message and I was called back within 15 minutes to schedule an appointment. I was able to get a time within the time frame I needed (about 3-4 working days) and was given a four hour span during which they would be at the house. The service person called about 15 minutes before he arrived and checked out the heating system. He worked from a check list and gave me a copy of the readings he took. All was working great. He also explained a part of the humidifier system on my unit. His professionalism is what I would expect from a company with a good reputation. Because of this experience, I plan to contact them in the spring to have my air conditioner checked out.
