We could not have done the rebuild with out Stephen help. I soon realized l could trust him to follow up on everything we asked. He was more like a contractor than a handyman. From rebuilding a bath to setting kitchen cabinets I could not ask for a better man.

    Cowins Drywall
The drywall installation went fast as it was a tiny bath. However, when came time to mud and tape the drywall, Chuck showed up late each day. He would drop the drywall mud on the floor and not clean it up. I also caught him using my dish soap to mix in his mud mixture. The work was fast and sloppy. There was trim that had been left around the door frame. Instead of telling me the trim needed to be removed to eliminate gaps around the frame, he never said anything. When I noticed the gap, he suggested that I could get strips of wood to go around the frame. When I asked what caused the gaps, he said because the trim wasn't removed. I asked why he didn't tell me this before he started the job. He just shrugged. Awful experience!!!!

His work is excellent and the crew were VERY competent and trustworthy.  I trusted them even to leave my house and let them lock up when finished for the day.  Only minor issue was the occasional need to reschedule a day.
The fees were much in line with the amount of materials and work performed.  Enjoyable company and crew to work with.
Note:  I like his pricing and work so well he is currently painting the outside of my house and trim also.  Not just one coat like I would have gotten from a few others I talked to.  He puts two coats of paint on all.
He also is capable of many other areas but I won't comment on them because I have not actually had him do them.  But what they have/are doing, is Outstanding.

    Total Interiors

First was the demolition. The walls and floor were torn out, toilet removed, sink and tub plumbing were properly attended to. Then came the prep for the new cement board, an adjustment to an old custom vanity we wanted to keep, then the application of the insulation, cement board, then the tiles on the walls, then the flooring (tile), the granite vanity top, then re-assembling everything from the toilet to the shower curtain rod. All with a minimal mess. He cleaned up each day before he left.

One of the great things about working with Total is the communication. It happens! There were no, I repeat NO shortcuts made here.

He does a nice job. I have used him before and I went on Angie's List to get his name so I could use him again. I'd say he's excellent. We have a bay window and we left the windows opened and the wood got rippled from the water standing on it. So he took the window trim apart, put veneer on and stained it. It looks like new. My husband is really fussy about stain, he can stain but doesn't take the time to do it. He did an excellent job, even my husband said it was excellent. That wasn't in his original job description, but once he's was here we asked him to do that as well. It's great.

John did the work while we were out of town and he worked out great. Did what he said / when he said/ was reasonable on price. An honest person who we would use again in a heartbeat.
