AFoundation Systems of MichiganThe FSM Team did a great job. Our crawl space was sealed, a support beam added and sump pump installed. The team continually communicates as the project is being done so we know what was going on. They would also ask for our input if there were different options available to consider.- Gary C.

AFoundation Systems of MichiganAfter a devastating flood in May 2020, our crawl space encapsulation needed seams repaired and vapor loc replaced, and gravel added around a pump. The crew, Jacob and Dan, are experts in their field. They were very professional, explained what the plan was to repair the encapsulation, and then when the work was completed, they had us view the work and made sure it was completed to our satisfaction. The finished work was EXCELLENT! Thank you FSM for the professional and expert repair. Jacob and Dan are an awesome team and represent FSM as the great company they are.- Claudia F.

AStay Dry Basement Waterproofing IncWe had a basement that always had water in it almost year round. We decided to sell the house and move to North Carolina. Still trying to sell the home we decided to have a French Drain System put in with a bleeder line, as it would not sell as it was. The Stay Dry team was excellent from start to finish. Their team was professional and was accommodating to the fact that we needed to keep the home clean due to selling it and took extra steps to ensure no contamination spread to the rest of the house. After the job was done I have had zero issues with water and we are closing on our home today. Thank you so much for your hard work and courtesy Stay Dry! Pictures below are just after washing and cleaning. It appears wet but was completely dry the next day.- Matthew H.

AFoundation Systems of MichiganWe had bids from two firms; FSM offered more features at a lower cost. The work was still expensive, but we are very happy with the results. Due to the wet nature and all-at-once thaw of the spring, and the resulting level of the water table, we had a serious water problem in the crawl space (of which a small portion is concrete to accommodate mechanical systems). FSM installed drains and replaced our single sump pump -- which had no backup in case of power failure -- with their "triple-safe" pump system which includes battery backup. In addition, FSM encapsulated the entire crawl space with super-thick material. Their technicians worked very hard, all day (it was planned as a one-day job, and they finished it, but it required a LOT of effort) with few breaks, and the results have been well worth the expenditure. (We had a geothermal heating/cooling system installed a couple of weeks later, and that contractor was delighted by the condition of the crawl space -- especially since he had seen it prior to FSM's work.) The only downside is scheduling -- due to the extensive water table problem in this area, FSM's installation and maintenance are both now badly backed up, but that's hardly FSM's fault. Installation customer service (via phone) was both friendly and helpful. We highly recommend FSM.- Thomas S.

AFoundation Systems of MichiganWe had FSM install a sump system and crawlspace encapsulation the week of Thanksgiving 2018. I have been holding the review off until spring to see if what I had them do resolved the problem I was having with snow melt and run off ending up in my crawlspace. The 4 young men FSM sent to do the work were very professional and new exactly what they had to do to complete the job, did their work and left without anyone knowing they were there. They even enjoyed the bacon sandwiches we served them for lunch. The crawlspace is completely bone dry (exactly what I wanted) and we now have extra storage space. I highly recommend FSM. They did a remarkable job at my house and if I need anymore work in that regard, they would be the first one I'd call.- Robert K.

AThe work was done almost 2 years ago and is holding up without any issues. It was done in the timeframe promised, done professionally and the finishing was excellent. I had flooring installed and developed an issue due to the installation. Both the owner and site leader recently came out and inspected the system to ensure there was no issue with the drain (there wasn't). This type of customer service is rare these days. I am very happy I had the system installed and appreciate the professionalism I have encountered with this company from the estimate, work, finishing and follow-up. Thank you!!

AVery professional and well-done work to perform repairs to 4 cracks that were leaking from previous repairs and repaired multiple rod holes in foundation. Many of which either were actively leaking prior to repairs or showing signs of leaking soon. The tech, Randy, had previously not been out to site before for quote. But took the time prior to starting any work to go over the proposal and review all work that was expected to be performed to verify his and my expectations were both in alignment. About halfway through the job had me re-verify that all rod holes that were previously identified and discussed were being addressed. Did a great job performing clean up and stayed later than expected to fully complete the job instead of calling it a day in the middle of the work. Would highly recommend Stay Dry to others for work to repair foundation cracks and rod hole leaks.

FWorst workmanship I’ve ever seen. Basement still leaks, the system they installed does not drain water into the sump crock looks like water is now being diverted under the floor. Owner never came out to look at what his employees call a finished job. I was quoted by Dennis $56 a foot in the basement and when I got upstairs it was actually $59, red flag. I was quoted and designed a system and they installed another. Look at pics and you decide if you want to hire these hacks and liars. One other thing the workers mixed the Qiukrete next to my furnace that was running and the whole house was filled with concrete dust.

ARep showed up on time, looked above my garage and gave me a recommendation and a price ... He then looked above my living area (main home attic) and took pictures. He showed me the pics and said "no need for any work to be done up there, everything already looks good". He called me back with a scheduled data for the work to be done above the garage. The workers showed up on time, they were courteous and respectful. They did the work quickly and cleanly. Great professional transaction. Highly Recommend.

DHe suggested completely replacing the roof instead of trying to locate the leak and patching it. We agreed as the roof was probably over 15 years old. We had no way to know exactly as this house was newly purchased and the previous owner did not know either (she was a divorcee). Next rain after the roof replacement, within a span of weeks, we realized the leak was still there. Called him and he stated he isn't in the area and that he will stop by next time there is rain and he is in the area. Needless to say that never happened. He continued to delay and postpone until his labor warranty expired (in his case that's 1 year) at which point he denied any responsibility. At this point the only potential recourse left was the manufacturer warranty on the shingles themselves. I don't know how far that would have gotten us and we will never know since the contractor failed to give us any warranty paperwork for the shingles though we repeatedly asked him for it. Whether we needed it or not we indeed have a new roof but the leak, which was the original task, never got fixed. We are now looking for somebody else to fix it. My recommendation: if you are forced to use him (contractor work is hard to find at the moment) make sure you keep a tight leash and are all buttoned up before you sign that last check to him. He is not coming back for anything once that's done.
