    Venetian Masonry
I found this company via home advisor. They came out and provided a quote to construct a 1000 sq. ft patio in my backyard in June. I had all the materials on hand, so the quote consisted of labor. To secure a start date, I provided a 50% deposit ($5800) to the company in early July via PayPal. They estimated the work would take 5 days and quoted me for $11,700 for the labor and their estimated start date in early August. In August they came over when they were supposed to start the project and did not start. They claim that there were materials in the way of their work area and that I wasn't ready. These materials are for the patio and have been in my driveway for 6 months. Part of the quote was to install these materials. They are very manual in their technique. No heavy machinery was used, and the materials were easily passable. They also maintain that they had reserved 3 weeks in August for my job that they couldn't start due to these materials in the way. I have been contacting them for months asking when they would be coming back, and they continue to move the date around. I personally rearranged the materials to make their job easier. They finally came back to work in November and December for a few days. They put in some retaining wall and moved some crushed concrete and claim that it required more crushed than quoted and that is the cause for the delay. They haven't been back since early December. Recently I received a citation from the city for the materials being in the driveway for over 6 mos. This could result in a misdemeanor and a large fine for every day they are not removed. I had to hire another landscaping company to move them. Venetian did not show up to help when I told them about it. They also said that there is no rush on the work because I can't use it anyways. I purchased a hot tub last summer that I have not been able to use, and it may be broken due to being stored on its side while waiting for the patio to be built. They continue doing other jobs and make excuses. I have reached out to Venetian Masonry to resolve these issues and they have not showed up to our agreed upon meeting times. I currently have 0 sq. ft constructed of a 1000 sq. ft patio that was supposed to be completed in August that was quoted in June. They said it was no problem that they work throughout the Winter. Maybe at other jobs, but not at ours. It doesnt seem to be very high on their priority list. I would not recommend this contractor.

    Three C's Landscaping
Horrible, Whatever good reputation this company had seems to have had in the past was lost on this job. Thats what happens to good company I guess when all the original owners are not involved anymore.Where to start? First they assured me that doing the job in the winter was fine. Started in November of 2017 , finished in May 2018. Then installed the wrong natural stone on steps , within 2 weeks they started to turn a dark orange color, and extensive shaling started. Replaced the steps but told me it was basically my fault because I saw the stone when it was dropped off and didnt say anything , problem was it was grey when they dropped it off , grey when they installed it ,but when the snow melted after they were laid ,they were orange and shaling, was told by others it was not the right stone for steps, and not the kind of limestone that they said it would be . I have pics of before and after the turn of color. The small top patio turned out fine , was done well , did good radius cuts around curves , etc. But the main patio had a large radius and they didnt even bother to make any cuts around that, just laid the brick in long rectangles ! Why Phil Dwyer? Ill tell you why , because you sent over some other mason to to the main part, should have stuck with the guy that did the smaller part ! Even the cuts around the pool are not straight , were they working with a dull blade ? Awful! Thats what people have said after seeing this job. Found out they put no fabric type underlayment down as described in the quote, but didnt forget to charge for it. No paver edging material, just concrete edging, which I had before and broke off after several years , but.... luckly had the edging material besides the concrete held up perfectly for twenty years, and was still great when they tore it up . Worker told me they just have to come back for matinee every year to put more cement when it starts to break off They were suppose to protect extensive amount of box woods around patio per contract, while working ,did not and they turned brown at the bottom from the heat of the saw. Was so reckless taking out the sprinklers and lighting around the patio ,took them a almost 2 weeks to put back together at 80 dollars a man hour, 2 men ,so had to pay another $6700.00 dollars for that, on top of over $70,000.00 for the paver job! Oh yeah read the fine print you pay fo the damage they do! I think that someone that puts in lighting could have done it more in a efficient manner and not 2 weeks. They just couldnt figure it out, hence all the hours Then when I called to protest the bill for $6700.00 , he told me that was cost, and he really didnt make anything on it! Really??? They were my fixtures! Then on the patio , I gave halve of total to start the job , and was not suppose to pay balance until finished ,but manager Phil came over before it was done asking for another 20,000.00. My bad I gave it to him. Later I thought why is such a big company hurting for 20,000.00? I could go on and on but you get the picture.Honestly there was nothing wrong with the patio I had before ,just wanted to change to a much larger paver and a lighter color, and more contemporary. No problems at all with the old paver job done 17 years ago. Too bad that company no longer exists because he retired. Moral of the story ... If it aint broke , dont fix it But never did I think I would get such a sh..ty job from this company. Hey Phil , and dont answer this review saying you did everything you could to make it right, because you and I both know that you did not! I will still have to hire someone to fix the ones that the edges are up on that everyone keeps tripping on. You did fix a few , but why is it still happening? Your Mission statement is Doing It Right, every time, your Niche is suppose to be Establish trust through exceptional service and your core values: Our team first, transparent ,passionate and deliver? Indeed the only thing that rings true to me and anyone thats looked at this job, is team first your team. All the rest sounds good only but not true . So anyone here thats thinking of using them feel free to come and see this job for yourself. And please get someone that just does hardscape, google questions that you should ask hardscapers , some very good hardscapers actually have the questions on their own websites you should ask BEFORE you hire, so you can compare apples to apples. Unfortunately I did not do that . Because if I did I surely would have not hired 3 Cs Landscaping . Look at some of the reviews on yelp. About them I wish I would have. I will say they do great at the planting landscaping part ,but I hired for brickpavers, only. A few people on your Team agree with me , but I dont want to rat them out because its not their problem Phil its yours, and I wont be responsible for anyone losing their job. And your comment about my concerns about the patio were met with did you pay the balance already? When I told you yes , your attitude basically was oh Well the reason I did pay the balance on the patio is because I still needed the lighting and sprinklers you tore out done , it was May already and I wanted to water my yard! And I thought you would offer to make good on the things that were not done properly. Another lesson learned, dont pay balance until they fix anything thats not right. Angies List asks for as much detail as possible , I hope I did that. So.... Anyone that knows a good hardscaping company , please review as I still need an area in my front yard done. And I will defiantly have the questions ready. Three Cs lost the front yard contract after this .They wanted me to sign that contract before they were done with the back. Good thing I waited until they were done with the back hardscape.

Be careful, this company provided me with an insurance certificate with another company's name on it. I called the insurance company and they told me that neither Tree Solutions LLC nor the owner Cris Sovel were covered under the policy.

I was impressed with Bryan (owner) at initial meeting for estimate. He and crew were very professional & on time. Project took only 3 days and each time upon leaving yards were left in good condition.

    Woodsmith Tree Service
Tom came out quickly after our initial contact. He appraised the issues, told us exactly what he recommended to fix our problems. He gave us a very fair price right on the spot and told us approximately when he could do the work. He called the night before coming out to confirm their arrival. All of the men in his crew were friendly and professional. He listened to our concerns about losing the shade in the backyard and before his crew started to work there was agreement between us as to how much would be cut. They cleaned up after themselves, asking my neighbor's permission to go into her back yard to remove some branches that had fallen there. He also assessed two of our other trees as to their health for free.

I was working on a  tight schedule & they where very accommodating. The trees where gone within 3 days of the first contact, talk about great service! They cleaned up so well, I wouldn't even have known they were there except for the trees being gone.

They are reasonable and no supervision is needed.  They do exactly what and when they are supposed to do.  I talked to them a couple of times when they first came and I told them what I expected.  Their price depends on what I need done; they bill monthly and there is no problem with the billing.  Everything is good.

Aaron Meier came out to my house on 7/2/12 for an estimate. Week later I received the proposal, and accepted it.  On July 16&17 the work was performed(sidewalk, retaining wall, dug out patio etc); however due to the 102 degree temperature Aaron told me the cement companies he contacted said not to lay cement due to the fact it would set up too quick and have a tendency to crack.  That he suggested waiting until Thursday when the weather would be cooler.  I agreed.  Then I received another call from Aaron a couple hours later asking me if I wanted to switch from cement to pavers, of which I did.  The price was the same.  The crew came out on Thursday to install the pavers but due to the rain had to postpone until Friday.  They came out Friday and installed the patio.  The crew of three did an outstanding job, and I must say they are the best and hardest workers I have ever seen.  No matter how hot it was outside they just kept working.  SiteScape did a fantastic job, and I plan on using them again. The clean up was great too.

    Robin's Gardening Service
Carole came over to give me quote and told me it would be 3 weeks before work could be performed.  She and her crew came out and performed the work.  Looked good; however within 2 weeks alot of the grasses were growing back in my flower bed area at top speed.  I called Carole and she came out and corrected the grass and put in more mulch.  I appreciate her integrity to make sure the customer is happy.

We could not be happier with the results.  Eric and his team arrived at 8:30 a.m. as expected.  They removed what was left of the grass in our back yard (approx 35' x 50'), leveled it all out, created a smoother look around the flower beds and installed new sod.  They cleaned up the area at the back of our yard along a stockade fence and planted flowering shrubs which will grow and "hide" the fence with some color.  I have a lovely brick path leading to the back of the garage with a new shade garden next to the garage.  They removed the aluminum edging and installed a brick "curb" (which matches a brick walkway at the front of our house) from the front of the house all along the side and around the old shade garden.  They removed the shade plans and replaced them with  "sun-loving" shrubs.  They also installed the same brick curb along the new fence by the driveway.  They cleaned up the area under the arborvitaes and laid down decorative stone which should minimize our maintenance of that area.  We also had them put in one Rose-of-Sharon in an empty spot when one arborvitae had died.  Finally, they mulched everything!!
The guys worked as hard as anyone I've ever seen; 8:30am to 6/6:30pm.  They had to unload sod, bricks, mulch, etc on the street and push it in wheelbarrows to the back of the house.  They did this for two-and-a-half days and it was hot!  When they were all done, they cleaned up so well, you wouldn't know any work was done.  They swept the street cleaner than it was when they started!
Aaron was truly professional, so patient with me and all my questions!  I genuinely appreciated his ideas and suggestions; it helped me figure out what I really wanted to do.  Eric and the guys with him were great.  It was obvious to me they take a pride in their finished project.  They were hardworking, prompt, efficient and just nice guys.  Also, Tracy, at the Sitescape office, is friendly and helpful; a treat to work with!
I would recommend Sitescape to anyone.  I am already looking around at what, if any, yard improvements I might want next.  Thanks to all at Sitescape.
