    Brisendine Heating & Cooling Inc
Nice guy but I'm not happy with the service. My furnace was giving a pressure switch code 11 months ago and I called Brisendine who came out to look at it. The repairman said he could not do anything unless he saw the code himself. Even thought I told him the code. I find it hard to believe there isn't a method to diagnose a problem without actually seeing a code. So, he cleaned the flame sensor (not relevant to the code I was getting) and charged me $79. That night, no heat. Same code I told the tech about. They came back out and replaced the pressure switch for another $89. This was late March so I wan't using the furnace that much after the repair but I believe it worked for the rest of the spring. Next winter, the furnace would occasionally stop working and the same pressure switch code would flash. Sometimes I could turn the switch to the furnace off and on a few times, and it would kick on. If not, I would tap on the pressure switch and sometimes that would get it to work again. And after getting it to kick on, it would work for a few weeks. But soon the pressure switch code would start flashing again. Usually in the middle of the night when it's freezing cold and I am tired. Recently I looked at the pressure switch they installed and it was a different switch than what this furnace calls for. The numbers are different. I called Brisendine and they said the difference was allowable. Perhaps but I want the one that this furnace requires. Who knows maybe that's the problem? I told them because tapping on the pressure switch causes the furnace to start back up, I'm thinking it must be a switch issue. They said not necessarily. So I asked them, if the switch turns out to be bad would they replace it for free? The woman on the phone said she would have to ask. She called me back and said it would be another $89 for them to come back out. These guys are nice and they might mean well but I think they should be able to fix a furnace the first time, not the 3rd or more times. At the very least they should come out and look at my furnace without charging me considering I have had nothing but problems with this furnace and this SAME code for the past 11 months. Hate to do it but I am switching furnace companies.

These guys are great! Honest and informative. They came out to quote and were the only ones who actually told me why my old furnace was having trouble igniting. None of the others said a thing. To install the new one, they arrived on time and went the extra mile again when they fixed the handle on my new table top BBQ (I had mentioned during conversation that I accidentally lost the screw inside the handle when I assembled it)! I'd highly recommend them to anyone. Great Father & Son team!

Bought their deal off of the Big Deal for the Air Conditioning tune-up. I called 3 times as well as emailed to get my work done. Ended up asking Angies list for a refund. I am sure their work is fine, but I could not tell you.

Family Heating Cooling & Electrical Inc
Wonderful place to deal with. Efficient, thorough and they do excellent work. I was very happy with the workers they sent out. They answered any questions I had and were professional. They arrived when scheduled, worked hard and cleaned up nicely. Permits were pulled, inspections done and passed with no issues. Electrical inspector made a comment about the nice job they did too. I would recommend them to anyone. :)

Unbelievably well. These guys showed up promptly. Worked well as a team, even coordinating with the shop for
parts fabrication and delivery. All this in spite of the fact that it was Thanksgiving weekend.

    Cregger Plumbing, Heating & Cooling
This was a big job.  This is a large house, built in 1925 and various owners over the years have done all sorts of crazy stuff.  Cregger managed to cope with all of it.  They answered phone calls promptly.  They got here when they said they would.  They explained in detail what was going on.  The job was completed in a timely manner in spite of all the hassles inherent in  dealing with a historical house.  Yes, it was pricey, but when I saw how many guys were here, how many days it took and how hard they had to work, it seems fair.  When it turned out that the hot water heater would have to be replaced they threw that in for the cost of the new tank.

All service men were wonderful. Answered all my questions, were on time and did a great work. They wore booties and cleaned everything up after. The prices were comparable and they even took care of the rebate. Would highly recommend All of them to others.

Said I would be hearing a can sound.  Now during cold weather I hear 1 -3 times a day the sound of a jar lid of canned food popping!   ??????  Never got this from other furnace companies!

    J & W Enterprises/ Stallion Contracting
It went pretty well. We got estimates from two - three different contractors. John was the most reasonably priced. There was no hard sell, we asked for what we wanted, he provided estimates and never went beyond the estimated cost. He provided ideas and found creative ways to fix things or make things work. He was generally on time and did what he said he would do. When there was a delay or unexpected changes, he promptly communicated the problem. Overall, we were pleased with the job and the cost. John was very responsive to our call and our needs, he was professional, helpful and patient when we made changes or asked for additional work. We would highly recommend John. He was reliable and did what he said he would do.

Great Dane Heating & Air Conditioning
Great Dane Heating & Air Conditioning were really good, I would highly recommend them to anybody. They've got all kinds of awards on their wall for their business. They supplied and installed a furnace with a humidifier on it. Their price was actually lower than the other furnace people. The technicians were really nice and real good. The salesman in the store was real good. They're very helpful. They were right on time and got it done in the time they said they were going to do it. They have a bad receptionist, she is horrible.
