    They have offices all over my area. It was very good as well as thorough, professional, and timely. My recommendation is that if you have to have a sleep study this is the place you should go.

    Scheduling was easy, they mailed the papers, I arrived and was shown to my room and the lady had me get dressed and ready and she put the wires on.  I went to bed and got up the next morning.  Very nice!

    If you can go higher then an A for a rating, they are amazing and the staff is amazing also. My husband said I would snore and said he could hear me gasp for air. A friend of mine referred me to this practice. I went the first time and filled out an evaluation sheet and he said I was a candidate. I went for a sleep study and they hooked you up to these electrodes on your face, arms and legs. You sleep over and right away they gave me an evaluation and gave me this machine. I feel like a new person. I felt like I never slept and this can cause heart trouble, a lot of trouble. Until you get the treatment,you don't know how your life can change. I would stop breathing for 10 seconds at a time. Availability was marvelous and I got an appointment right away. I was a bit worried about billing but it was all covered under insurance.

    The sleep study went very well. The room I slept in was very comfortable, and the sleep technician was fantastic. This was my second sleep study, and the one at Chelsea Community Hospital was far better than my first study.

    You have an appointment, I had to wait, one time I had to wait an hour and a half.  Another time I had to wait two hours for the appointment.  Then she took me off some sleep medication.  I had not been getting any sleep so I was irritable.  They were starting construction here so I was delayed by construction.  I was fifteen minutes late.  I wasn't really concerned because I had waited an hour and a half to two hours before.  I was sitting in the waiting room.  The woman at the desk called to me to say did you know your appointment was for one o'clock.  I said yes.  She said well you are late and I said I am sorry there was construction that I didn't know about and I was delayed.  She said I am going to have to talk to the doctor to see if you can even be seen today.  It was embarrassing because it was in front of the other people in the waiting room.  I said she should see me because I had to wait an hour and a half and two hours.  She said it's not under my control.  She was really snippy.  Which didn't help my irritability.  The doctor came and said I am going to speak to you.  I went in there, she left the door open.  I told her I had to wait an hour and a half to two hours, I went through that and she said things come up for doctors.  I said things come up for patients too.  I said in all honesty I was going to talk to you tell you if you did not treat me, my health had deteriorated under your care, if you didn't do anything I was not going to need your services anymore.  She said that's your opinion that's it deteriorated.  In my opinion it hasn't.  I'm the one that is sick.  That really got to me.  I was really frustrated.  Before I could really do anything I got a letter in the mail saying that basically I could not longer come to their clinic because of my belligerent behavior. I could not contact anyone in their clinic.  The other thing was the second time after waiting for two hours I wasn't actually seen by the doctor, it was either a nurse practitioner or a physician's assistant, which sometimes happens. She got all my information, finally the doctor came in.  It was really more than two hours before I saw the doctor.  What I really hate is when the physician's assistant and the doctor stand there and talk about your as though you are not there.

    I saw Dr. Policherla at the Henry Ford Health System for a sleep study after learning that it would take several months to get me in for a sleep study in another Hospital system. I should have waited the few months. On my first visit to Dr. Policherla's office I was greeted by a friendly receptionest and nurse who took some info and helped explain to me and prepare me for my sleep study the next day, I did not meet Dr. Policherla. After having the sleep study in a hospital, I returned to Dr. Policherla's office to get my results. I assumed that I would meet the Dr. then, but was surprised to only see his nurse again. Later that day an internet search I turned up Dr. Policherla's Wikipedia page (which looked suspiciously self-created) and revealed he was a big supporter of the Indian Film Industry, so much so that he was currently in India persuing a Bollywood movie career! I had been 'seen' by a doctor who was halfway around the world from me! I decided at this point to switch Dr's, but had to revisit Dr. Policherla several months later to have my prescription switched for a different style CPAP mask. (The change in prescription had to come from the original Dr. who wrote it.) I called his office asking to have the prescription change faxed to my medical equipment provider, but was told that Dr. Policherla makes all of his patients come in for office visits to change any prescription-  and this visit would cost me $120. I went and met the Dr. for the first time and saw him for about five minutes where he told me 'CPAP therapy is really hit and miss, and we'll just keep trying different things until something works; here's your prescription' That'll be $120. Luckily the second mask worked better than the first and I haven't had to revisit him. There are many reasons for the high cost of healthcare in this country, and a big one is Dr's who care more about maximizing their profits than helping their patients. I'm afriaid Dr. Haranath Policherla is one of them

    The prescription faxed to my pharmacy on 6/8/2011 was at double the intended dosage.  Dr. Peters called and had me cut the tablets in half.   During my 7/26 appointment, Dr. Peters agreeed to fax a new prescription to Mitchell's Home Care for a new nasal mask.  On 12/20, Mitchell's finally received a prescription from Dr. Peter's office.  It was an outdated prescription written by doctors at UM Hospital a decade earlier.  Mitchell's called and finally received Dr. Peters' perscription five months late and  I finallly received a badly needed mask on 12/28.  In early January, Dr. Peters had Mitchell's change the settings on my auto BIPAP machine which resulted in much improved therapy.  In February, I recelived a voice mail message that Dr. Peters wanted to see me and I should call and make an appointment.  I called and made an appointment for March 5th at 1:15.  When I arrived for my appointment, the receptionist was seated at a computer located at the back of the reception area.  She told me I didn't need to sign-in.  She then asked for personal information and shouted it back so everyone in the waiting room could hear.  She then informented me she had no record of my appointment.  I was angry at having wasted an hour drive.  A few days later, I called and asked to speak directly with Dr. Peters  When they said she wasn't there, I ask to leave a message for her to call me.  I didn't want to make another wasted trip so I wanted to make sure I would be able to see her before making another appointment.  After several days past, I realized Dr. Peters was not going to return my call.  I tried to get a message to her through the Mitchell's coordinator.  The next day I received a voice mail message that Dr. Peters didn't want to return my call and she suggested I make another appointment.  I don't know if that was truly Dr. Peters message or not but I'm very disappointed and will not return to this office again.
