I received excellent service and price for just under an hour's worth of very hard work clearing tree roots from an old septic line in 100 year old house. Lonny Jr. and his dad Lonny have been my "go to" specialists for 15 (+) years for drain and sewer cleaning. They are courteous and professional in every way, always show me what needs doing, perform the work thoroughly and efficiently while keeping the work site as clean as possible, and clean up when the work is done. They are always on time and today were a few minutes early which was great. The prices are always very fair for the time and the quality of service they provide. They are also very courteous to my four-footed (pet) family. Highest possible recommendation from a very satisfied homeowner.

Had to have Jim back out this year (2017) to clear out my drain line from the kitchen to the main drain. While he was here, had him run back through the main line as a preventative service. Plan on having him back each year as a preventative measure.

Rocky was on time and efficient. He moved his appointments around so I could have water (hot &cold) as soon as possible. All work was completed within 4 hours. I will definitely be contacting Plumbing Works for any future plumbing needs.

After reading all the glowing reviews on Angie's list, I called to make an appointment speaking with owner Taylor Teachout. He offered me a choice of two days. He and I finalized an appointment time and my husband and I were really looking forward to it when surprisingly Taylor called the day before he was scheduled to come out telling me he was no longer accepting new clients - he was "too busy". When I expressed my disappointment he said maybe he'd have time if I were willing to wait for 4 to 5 months - that would be sometime in August or September of 2017! What a crummy, disappointing and dishonest way to run a business...

We have used Moore Plumbing for several plumbing problems over at least 10 years. We called them this time because our electric water heater had stopped working. Eric responded promptly. He was courteous, friendly, and professional. He determined that the problem was in the electrical system and helped us find an electrician to fix the issue. We would use Moore plumbing again in the future and would recommend them to others.

I highly recommend Jamie Pierce. He is knowledgable, responsive, efficient, and does an excellent job. He is familiar with the Mason area and provides a fountain of helpful information. He also volunteered helpful information regarding my water softener and water heater. He will be my "go to" plumber from now on.

Sewage was backing up in basement shower and toilet. No other plumbers would come out to clear drain line without having septic pumped. Had septic pumped to the tune of $410 that didn't need to be done which I thought would be the case from the get-go. Evidence pointed to the drain line from house to septic was blocked. Called several plumbers including Michigan Plumbing whom I have used for years. Despite claiming they are available 24/7, told me first appointment was SIX DAYS later. Meanwhile, could not run any water (including toilets) in the house as it just was filling drain in basement back up which caused additional blackwater spillage and water everywhere in a finished basement space. Called Roto-Rooter of Lansing and spoke to Aaron. He promised his service technician "Don" would arrive the following morning between 8-10 am but would call first when enroute. At 8:15 am Don called and said he would be there in 30 minutes. He arrived right on time, listened to my description of the problem, what had transpired and done to date, and got right to work. Determined problem was actually blockage in a floor drain upstream from clean-out plug. Snaked out drain, made sure that it was flowing freely into main drain line and into septic tank. Don was very conscientious about keeping the mess to a minimum and took care to protect carpeting, etc. He also offered some suggestions in terms of dealing with any future/similar problems and advised the work done today had a 90-day warranty so if I experienced any additional issues to be sure to call and they would come back out at no charge. I used Roto-Rooter probably 15 years ago and it was a (not good) ordeal. Today's experience was like night and day. Don was extremely polite, respectful, personable, knowledgeable and competent without being arrogant or condescending. Aaron was equally as professional. Can't speak highly enough about how well the service call was handled and the response time. Very much appreciated and restored my faith in the company. Very pleased. Thank you, guys! NOTE: Price below includes an additional $99 after-hours/weekend service call charge as of course the problem developed on a Friday afternoon. IOW, price would have been approximately $100 less if problem had been addressed during regular weekday working hours but problem needed to be dealt with before then.

Had a bit of an emergency as drains in basement were backing up. No drain cleaning company would come out until I had the septic tank pumped first. Called Ball Septic around noon and explained the situation and they had a truck and technician on-site by 3:00 pm. Took more than an hour to locate both tank lids -- two people from Ball Septic worked in awful heat/humidity and didn't give up until the lids were found and the tanks emptied. Price was a little higher than quoted but that's because tanks were larger than I remembered. Have used Ball Septic since 1992 and always have found them to be prompt, professional and responsive. This time was no exception. Thank you!

They made no effort to run a snake to check for a possible obstruction. Three days later the flushing problem returned. This time it completely backed up and overflowed. I managed to use a plunger to free the system up. I ended up contacting another plumbing company (Hedlund) to see what was the periodic obstructing. This serviceman ran a snake, completely removed the bowl and snaked it again. Could not locate the obstruction but referenced a sub-contractor (Hosco) to run a snake through the stack. Problem solved, but no thanks to the indifference of Miteff plumbing; for which I was charged $100 travel fee with no favorable results. No effort, no payment. This fee should not have been charged.

Installation went as expected, according to the estimate and invoicing.  Excellent workmanship done in a timely matter.  They also let me pick out what doors, windows, roofing, siding and garage door openers I wanted. I'm very happy with the results.
