    Let me tell you, this is a small company. The kind of small company that you WANT to do business with. He's been doing this work for many years and it shows. I had another larger company out and they couldn't fix the problem. Wanted me to spend $4000 or so on a new furnace. Even suggested to my wife that it would become dangerous. Larry gave it to me straight. There wasn't anything dangerous, it was working normally in that regard. He did quite a bit of troubleshooting the other guy (who came out twice) didn't do and within an hour narrowed the issue down to a faulty sensor that was super cheap to replace. He was also super flexible on when he could come out and even gave me a ONE HOUR WINDOW instead of a half day window. I know he probably can't do that all the time, but this guy was great. I will be calling All Star for all my HVAC needs from now on. Thanks Larry!

    I did not get them from Angie's list. I got them out of the yellow pages. We have a water furnace, geothermal. They really are an excellent company, we just love them. It's absolutely the best. I don't think there is anyone who compares with me. It's always the same person and he is just excellent. They come out to service it and clean it before winter usually and if anything ever brakes on it. They replace thermostats for us. They've replaced motors for us. They're just wonderful.

    After reading all the glowing reviews on Angie's list, I called to make an appointment speaking with owner Taylor Teachout. He offered me a choice of two days. He and I finalized an appointment time and my husband and I were really looking forward to it when surprisingly Taylor called the day before he was scheduled to come out telling me he was no longer accepting new clients - he was "too busy". When I expressed my disappointment he said maybe he'd have time if I were willing to wait for 4 to 5 months - that would be sometime in August or September of 2017! What a crummy, disappointing and dishonest way to run a business...

    Prompt, arriving during window of time expected, within less than an hour of the initial call.  Work was completed professionally and efficiently by Andrae.  Price quoted on call was that charged; very fair.   Thank you.

    The window unit is attractive.  I picked Northern because of their choice of product.  I'm still waiting for a massive rain storm!  Nothing like torrential water to test a basement window!  They warned me the install date might shift if the weather was bad, and it did shift, and shifted a little more than they first said.  But the weather was torrentially bad the week before so I can't blame them.


    I'm going to give them an "A" overall.  If I have problems in the future I will see if I can update this review.  


    FYI - the guys who came on site were very nice.

    I contacted Bill Kaiser of All Weather Mechanical and he visited to see what was needed then set a date to do the installation.  The date came and he arrived and completed the work.  He also explained some aspects of a vent free fireplace to help ensure our safety.  Bill did the work for the price he had quoted.  Based on reading many positive reviews of his work, I can only guess that it was a fair and reasonable price.  I am pleased with the results.

    This company was excellent from quoting to installation and clean up. Top quality service. We have noticed an immediate improvement in the warmth of our home and of its ability to hold a constant temperature. Drafts are diminished. The wall insulation has made our home very quiet. Hear very little noise from out of doors.
    The installation crew was polite, thorough, communicative and prompt. The job went well. There were some areas that were inaccessible due to construction constraints but the cost was reduced accordingly.

    They show up on time, they are professionally polite, they are about business, but they are still friendly, and they are competent, and know what they are doing. They come in and do the work. In the past if I needed something, they went and got it, and fixed it.

    Our a/c unit stopped working around 3 in afternoon.  After we fussed with it for an hour or so, we called the company around 4:30pm and set up an appointment for the next afternoon.  The receptionist was professional, friendly and polite.
    We were around that day so when Nick called at 11am to say he was in the area and could come a bit earlier, we told him to come on.  He was friendly, polite, knowledgeable, etc., etc.  Can't say enough good things about him!  He diagnosed the problem and had it fixed within the hour.

    They service fuel oil, furnaces and things. I have used them for years. They have installed 2 of my furnaces and they come and they service them every year. If they give you a time, they will let you know if they are running behind.
