    Kevin R. Timm, DDS
Today was my first experience at Dr. Timm’s office. Overall experience and friendliness of the staff are the two aspects of any establishment that is important to me. Dr. Timm’s Office exceeded my expectations. When I walked in, I was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere. It smelled and looked clean ( it smelled like home ( freshly lit candles) not sanitation products that you would smell an average dentist. There were comfortable chairs, and the overall decor made me feel at home. The lighting was perfect for such a setting . I also noticed that there were several charging stations placed throughout the building just in case you can’t get through your day without a little extra juice! I thought that was extremely thoughtful. The receptionist (Kristina)immediately greeted me and was so sweet and welcoming. I only had to wait about five seconds before my hygienist came to get me. She (Lenora) did everything that I like professionals in the field to do. She greeted me with a smile and a handshake told me her name and that she would be taking care of me. She directed me back to her chair and was very accommodating on where to put my items. The view from the dental chair looks intriguing, especially if it was summer. There seem to be a nice brick waterfall out there with lots of landscaping. She walk me step-by-step through what she was going to do. In my opinion, clear communication is so valuable. She succeeded at all levels. She did a great, thorough job, which is really important when you’re going in for medical service. Dr. Timm was so down to earth and pleasant! He took the time to have small talk with me and even shared a few laughs. The overall atmosphere was pretty amazing. It was apparent that all of the staff enjoy their jobs and really liked to be there. I really love how there was winter decor throughout the entire building. There is nothing worse, in my opinion, to go to a dentist where the environment is cold and sterile. This atmosphere would make even the most anxious person feel comfortable. While I was there, I did need to use the restroom. What a pleasant surprise! They have everything that you may need a little extra in there, including nice lotions and body sprays! I give then an A+ for overall experience! From the professionalism, the friendliness of the staff, and the environment I am so glad that I came here! !

They are great with my kids. You sit down, and do not have to wait long (Maybe 5 minutes). Their staff is top notch. It is the best practice I have ever been to. They give you a to go package with toothpaste, toothbrush, etc. when you leave as well.

    Stilwill, Dr. Richard F.
I have gone to Dr. Stilwill since I was a teenager. Now that I have my own children, my whole family goes to Dr. Stilwill. He does not recommend unnecessary procedures. Everyone in the office is great! The dental hygienists are wonderful with kids as well and ask you to bring your kids with you at an early age so that they feel comfortable in the office.

    Day, Dr. John T
Has always provided good service, and I trust him to only do dental work that is needed.  When my son needed emergency service on a weekend he came in to take care of it.

    Implant Dentistry of Greater Lansing
The first appointment, to remove the old cap, put in a  temporary, and take a mold for the permanent cap was set up quickly.  When I arrived for the appointment, they got me started immediately, and about a half hour later, I was done.  The temporary cap worked fine.  When I arrived for my appointment for the permanent cap, again I was taken to a room immediately, and they were ready to go!  My permanent cap fits perfectly, and you can't tell I have an implant at all! The staff are always friendly, and go out of their way to be helpful.  They look for ways to minimize your out-of-pocket costs. My granddaughter loves this practice for her general dentistry, and actually counts down the days till her next appointment.

    Mika, Dr. Tammy
This isn't the first time I've had to go to Dr. Mika with a problem tooth - in fact that is how I found her in the first place, after becoming dissatisfied with my previous dentist. Dr. Mkia is very thorough and conscientious.  It can often times be very difficult to get into a dentist even in an emergency, and the temporary fixes they sometimes apply are not very helpful.  Because I had a great deal of discomfort and she knew I needed to travel out of town, she got me in and when she saw the level of the problem she committed to completing treatment before I left.  That meant she had to hop around from room to room to make sure she was keeping up with everybody, since I'm sure my case was an "add-on" procedure that required some time to complete. In this case she needed to assess whether the tooth could be saved or required extraction.  Once she got in, she was able to see that it was likely split down through the root, and counseled against the cost of a root canal that would probably not work long term.  She then went through the extraction process, and ensured I was comfortable throughout.  I noted she was extremely thorough about ensuring that all of the broken tooth fragments were removed, and the socket was properly preserved for an eventual implant. Because of my past history w/ inflammation, she also made sure I left with a script for steroids, which helped tremendously.  She called me a couple days later to make sure I was doing well before my trip. Dr. Mika's staff is very friendly and helpful, and the office environment is pleasant.  I have been very pleased with her and her practice, and I'm glad to have found this dentist.  It is important to have a relationship of trust with any health practitioner, and I believe Dr. Mika has earned mine.

    Summit Woods Family Dental Care
Our son, who moved out of town, still comes back to town, to go to Dr. Powers. They are fantastic. I have a lot of anxiety about going to dentists. I'm very afraid of being in pain and they're very sensitive to that. They really take care of that. They take you in pretty quickly. They go above and beyond. They're very good at preventing pain.

    Mashni Dentistry
I went to Dr Mashni's office to see what could be done about a TMJ problem I've had for over a year, and also to see if I need my wisdom teeth taken out (they're still impacted and I'm in my mid-20's). Since I had already had a cleaning and x-rays about a month ago, we skipped that part for now and just focused on the issues I went in for. For my TMJ, he and the dental assistant took several molds of my teeth to see how they fit together and so they could be looked at later to help decide what would be the best course of action. Like another reviewer said, before you even sit in the chair, Dr Mashni sits down with you and talks about your previous dental history-- if you've had any bad experiences with the dentist, etc-- so they can know where you're coming from. It's nice to know they really care about their patients' comfort. The staff was really friendly and accommodating. I was a few minutes late trying to find the office, but the receptionist was really kind and made it seem like no big deal. I'm scheduled to go back in a few days to follow-up with my TMJ and go over my x-rays from my previous dental visit (at LCC) to see where my wisdom teeth are. In sum, Dr Mashni and his staff are all really great, and I'd recommend his office to anyone.
