  Huron Pointe Excavating

  Run - don’t just walk away! Aaron was among the most unprofessional of folks I’ve met in 25 years of excavating construction work. He doesn’t appear to plan out his moves, bashes trees, digs up LOCATED AT&T cable, caused a water line rupture by knocking over a pile of steel, left trash piled up around the jobsite, and generally does poor workmanship that can’t be trusted (had to re-weld several structural joints in the steel wall that cracked in less than 3 months). He even buried his crushed tail gate from his truck in our neighbor’s beach – real stuff. His equipment is badly torn up and poorly maintained – so much so that he left the job site for 30 days in the middle of a contract to have his excavator repaired. Or did he? The same excavator rents for $165/day here… His stories didn’t line up at all. He needed 4 months to half assemble a wall job which he refused to finish. He took deposit money for additional work (after he raised the prices) which he abandoned later and wouldn’t give back. Come to find out HE HAS BEEN ARRESTED FOR NOT RETURNING DEPOSIT MONEY BEFORE (Shelby Township, MI). Avoid this fraudster and if you do have to deal with him like we did, call the police and skip small claims court. Taking money for work not completed is a crime.

  Hammer Time Home Improvements

  They were good. They did a good job. I don't know about the price yet, I haven't got the bill yet. I assume its an fair price. I am sure he is going to be fair. They came out, did their work, and that was it. My husband dealt with them, but they are good, hard workers.

  STONE'S PONTOON & BOAT STORAGE

  We've used Stone's to winterize our pontoon boat for many years. The prices seem fair and the boat runs well every year. This will be the first year they winterize our new (to us) i/o speedboat, but I fully expect that it'll start right up when I pick it up later this month.

  I was stranded out on my boat at a municipal dock. I called them and I am not a regular customer, but they got me started and got me going again. He came out and got me going and didn't charge me a nickle. He knew exactly what he was doing. I would use them again in the future.

  I very much appreciated Conrad's showing me the worn out parts after repair.  The whole C & E Marine crew was attentive to my problem and I received a call from Conrad telling me where he was at in the repair process  another call when he was done with the fix. I will use them again and will pass on favorable comments to my fellow boaters to use C & E Marine!!!!

  We rented a good sized pontoon from them. It was a very nice pontoon with lots of room and comfy. The workers were nice and helpful. We will definitely be coming back up north to rent again!!

  We live on a lake.  We love the lake life.  But, it can be hard.   On the weekends, we just want to enjoy the water, the boat, and the view.  We are tired of hassling with broken boats, broken sea walls, and broken boat lifts.  We want someone to help, so that we can enjoy the lake life. This year, we purchased a new Shore Station lift from JNR.  I had been quoted 10 days for delivery by another company.  Ten days before the lift would arrive and then they would have to put it together and install it.  JNR said he would go pick it up from the warehouse himself.  I spoke to him on a Tuesday and he had my lift built and in the water by Friday.  No kidding. But, the real reason we are so thankful to JNR is the customer service. They went above and beyond and got us out of a jam. We had an old lift.  We hired another company to install it and remove it for a couple years.  Last fall, they had difficulty removing it.  They broke two feet off of it.  It took them three times longer than normal to get it out of the water.  We had agreed on a fee of $200 for removal.  The other company sent us a bill for $500 because it took them longer than normal.  Then, they didn't even offer to help us repair the feet they broke off of it. When we were looking for a new lift this spring, we decided to go with JNR, rather than the other company.  The other company found out.  Sent us threatening e-mails and told us that we owed them an extra $1000 and had one hour to remove our lift from their storage area.  Or they would scrap it and charge us another $500. I had to call JNR at 8:00 at night.  Tell them that I was being threatened.  Ask them for help in moving the other lift. They said yes.  No charge.  They agreed to get our lift and move it to their storage area. We were scared.  We'd never been threatened like that before.   JNR didn't have to help us.  They didn't have to take that call at 8:00 at night.  But, they did. What great customer service.
