    Elmquist Eye Group
Went well.  Surgery was performed on January 6, 2014 and had three detailed follow up appointments.

    Elmquist Eye Group
Excellent!  A session was held with potential clients explaining options and costs. All questions were answered.  Surgery was scheduled in a short time following session.  Staff was efficient and catered to your needs.  Will have the other eye done when required.

    Gilbert, Walter R Jr MD
He gave me the most thorough eye exam I have ever had. Went over the variables involved with my situation. Everything was OK at that time, but a month later I had to return with another problem and he diagnosed a retinal tear. He and his staff rushed me down the hall to a retinal specialist who did surgery right away. This type of concern and response is refreshing. Dr. Gilbert does a great job and you should consider him for your eye needs

    Biddle, Dr. Michael A.
Dr. Biddle/Jonesville Eye Care has provided most of my ophtamalogical services and glasses for the last 20 years. He is a good doctor with lots of experience and a pleasant and quot;chair side mannerand quot;. He is both caring and careful in his recommendations with the best interest of the patient in mind. The staff at Jonesville Eye Care are courteous and professional as well. The glasses they provide are not a and quot;budget solutionand quot;, but high quality and pricey, though if you want to take your prescription elsewhere fo buy frames and lenses there is no hesitation and they don't make you feel bad about it. They stand behind their product and will recut a lens without hesitation if there is a problem.

    Riemer, Dr. Andrew S.
I was apprehensive about surgery before I had the first eye done. To put your mind at rest if you are going to have this done, I will share some details. The surgery was done in Ludington. Prep/pre-op took longer than the surgery. The nursing staff was very professional. Clothes are left on, and a gown and slippers are placed over top of the clothes. Blood pressure, temp, and pulse are taken, medical history questions are asked, drops are placed in the eye that is being operated on, and a mark is placed above that eye. An IV port is put in for anesthesia, which will be started just prior to surgery. The anesthetist and surgical nurse come and introduce themselves and answer any questions you have. Then, Dr. Riemer stops by to see you before surgery for a second. Then, you are wheeled into surgery, the IV is started, and you are OUT. Twenty minutes later, Dr. Riemer tells you that it is done, and you miraculously wake up!!! They wheel you back to recovery and offer you something to drink. You have a patch over your eye, which stays on for about 6 hours. The nurse gives you a calendar with directions on using the eyedrops that they give you. Then, you are walked out to your car. Someone needs to drive you home. Dr. Riemer called the night of or day after surgery to see how I was doing, and I drove myself to a follow-up appointment the day after surgery and another one the week after surgery. The second eye was done exactly one week after the first one. I now have 20/20 vision in both eyes and can wear regular sunglasses for the first time since I was a child! I will need glasses for very close-up work, but I can read this on the computer and can read my Kindle without glasses. I am a fan!

    Mitchell, Dr. Donald W.
We have good rapport with him. He is a very competent doctor. We have heard good things about him and we have been satisfied with him. If I have to wait a week or two, that's what I have to do. They were very good in their bedside manner and communication.

I think he is a very friendly doctor. He really does a good job of explaining things in a way you can understand them. He is very down to earth and an overall good person.
